The purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a flavor and it's many uses.
We're not just looking for you to post recipes you have containing the flavor of the week, but looking for you to share your process as you develop a new juice using the flavor of the week.
This should help us all to better understand how certain flavors interact, and give us all a launching point to perhaps discovering new wonderful recipes. Please post new recipes created using this flavor as well as any and all tasting notes as main posts. Thought process is encouraged also.
While I definitely encourage you to branch out with this flavor and use some more rare flavors, I would encourage everyone to keep it in mind that others will not be able to try your recipe and comment or offer assistance if they do not have the flavors you are using. I would also encourage you to use this week's flavor as the "main" flavor in your recipe although this is not required.

First base has a good custard note- can be adapted easier for Key Lime Pie, Lemon Cheesecake, or Sour berry flavors. Second is better for Strawberry Cheesecake, Caramel Cheesecake, or other sweet accents as the Cap Cheesecake has its own less tangy, savory part to play. Adjust each primary cheesecake flavor to taste for the strength of the accent- I adjust down the cheesecake when adding 0.5% of INW Raspberry(strong), or up for 4% TFA Strawberry Ripe(weak).
I see your cheesecake base, and I submit my own:
Cheesecake Base
- Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) 3.00%
- Italian Cream (HS) 1.75%
- Shisha Vanilla (INW) 1.00%

The HS is pretty cheesy freshly mixed, but calms down into something quite nice. I like to add FW blueberry or adding a good lime makes it taste like key lime pie.
I have a handful of Hangsen(Red Cola!)- does it mellow into something like a cream cheese frosting? Because ya, LA's cheesecake lacks cheese and crust. Sounds pretty good sir!
mmm that second one looks very good. ive yet to try the cheesecake graham crust but i bet it does play pretty well with cap ny cheesecake which i find is a spot on cheesecake without much crust. I have a pretty good cheesecake recipe that uses
- cap ny cheesecake 7%
- graham cracker clear tfa 3%
- raspberry (cap) 4%
- marshmallow (tfa) 1%
This is the first recipe i ever tried to make as soon as i started diy a couple months ago. Tweaked it a little and came to this. I love it and it does go over quite well with others also.
Edit (more notes): I feel that cap ny cheesecake is kinda weak so i went for a balance of 7% it and 4% cap raspberry. graham cracker at 3% imparts a slight dry crumbley mouthfeel and a bit more crust taste as well. marshmallow for a puffy mouthfeel and sweetness. if i could change it i would make it creamier and maybe add a little more tang to the cheesecake itself. also i would like the raspberry to pop more without overpowering the cheesecake. Any Suggestions?
Sub the raspberry completely- or augment it ( I suggest 0.5% INW Raspberry with 2% Cap Raspberry, or 0.75% FLV Boysenberry maybe). TFA Graham cracker is a very, very, dry cloying buttery flavor, I'd lower it to 1% (or even remove it), and try using TFA Pie Crust at under 1%, and let the crust hints in CAP NY shine. Wild ass idea that I have steeping right now- a cheesecake with TFA Carmel Candy paired with RY4 Double, as it has graham undertones already!
I feel like enyareklaw's strawberry cheesecake should get a mention here, it's a delicious sweet cheesecake base and one could easily swap the strawberries out for whatever fruit one prefers.

I made this without the sweetener and it was very delicious, especially after 2-3 days when the cheesyness starts to mellow out and blend with the strawberry more.
Interestingly Wayne says the sucralose is essential to the mix because without it the cheesecake is just too cheesy. I like a sweet vape anyway so I've never tried it without the sucralose.
I have been remixing my most popular recipe, which is a butterscotch vape where the main flavor is TFA Butterscotch. I found that FLV Caramel has the exact same "brown candy" profile that my recipe had. However I found that FLV Caramel lacks butteriness needed for butterscotch.
So to cut to the cheese (cake): I got CAP NY Cheesecake just the other day and it had that nice, sweet butter element in it, reminiscent of popcorn butter flavor. Very sweet, rich, and nice and buttery.
So: FLV Caramel + CAP NY Cheesecake = Really nice butterscotch type flavor.
The New Game of Thrones
- 2% Bavarian Cream (TPA)
- 0.75% Caramel (Flavorah)
- 2% Graham Cracker (Clear) (TPA)
- 2% New York Cheesecake (CAP)
- 5% Vanilla Custard (Flavorah)
I'm going to up the caramel and cheesecake a bit and add just a bit of mouthfeel somehow, but the cheesecake + caramel is soo nice already.
It's a work in progress, mainly due to steeping times, but I've vaped through 30ml's of this and won't get tired of it so I guess I'm getting there lol.

As a lover of your original "Game of Thrones" recipe, I can't wait to see how this turns out. What is the steep time of this current version, by the way?
Current version stands at 1 week, because it's not as heavy. The new recipe is not the same juice per se, it's noticeably lighter, but it has the exact same "feel" to it to me. It's hard to explain. It's good.

What is a better cheesecake than TFA's? So far it's all I have tried and it tastes like sweat and beer farts.
CAP New York Cheesecake
I have also heard good things about LA Cheesecake, but I've never had it my self.
LA Cheesecake is good, but its like VBIC in that it is sweet and lacks complexity, not a lot of crust or custard, just creamy sweetness with a mild finish. Also its chock full of acetoin if that bothers you at all, or alternately if that excites you because it is delicious.
Capella NY Cheesecake is no doubt a thick, savory, real tasting cheesecake. Although it doesnt have much crust to offer, it has enough where it is complimented very well by other crust options. TFA cheesecake is much more on the lighter, tangier side of things(even less crust here imo). I didnt care for it much but tried adding it at i think 2-3 % to complement cap ny in my recipe posted earlier on this thread and it overpowered/ didnt mix well... Would like to try it with 7% cap ny and like maybe .75-1.0 % tfa cheesecake. I've heard others mention adding LA cream cheese icing at low % to cheesecake mixes which sounds quite interesting to me. Has anyone else tried this?

Okay, long time lurker but this will be my first recipe post.
This is based off Tally Ho's Liturgy juice -- not a direct clone by any means but a homage to one of the only blueberry juices I've ever liked.
The idea is it's mostly "blueberry swirl" so I went pretty easy on the fruit note. This is my second version -- the first version used Cap Graham Cracker and I didn't like the "spicy" feeling it had. TFA graham clear is more vanilla/cookie-esque which is what I was going for. Anyways, it's a pretty sweet/cheesy mix with a nice blueberry on the inhale. I see people picking cheesecake crust vs NY cheesecake and my first version only used NY -- I sort of like having both in this version as cheesecake graham crust never really felt like a straight up cheesecake flavor anyways -- I use it in practically everything.

Been playing around with Lorann Cheesecake recently. While it has a cheesecake flavor it does not have the body. I have been using a mixture of both Cap NY Cheesecake and Loranne's to make a lemon cheesecake. Here is the latest iteration of the recipe thus far. I adapted the Lemon part from /u/Botboy141 and his awesome lemon sorbet. Needs a couple of weeks to really come around.

Well, let me explain this madness -
1-4 Are the cheesecake itself:

CAP NY cheesecake for obvious reasons, makes up for the main note in the mix and is all around a good cheesecake to start with.

LorAnn Cheesecake for that really interesting top note on the cheesecake - I haven't really found anything similar to this, it has that almost Ricotta taste and really gives a nice interesting touch. It's really light though, needs something to hold on, like CAP cheesecake.

FA Fresh Cream and TFA Bavarian cream just lighten up the body and give a little more depth to the recipe
5-7 Are the crust:

INW Biscuit for that buttery biscuitness (I make my real cheesecake with crushed tea biscuits over nice buttery caramel, this is close)

CAP Sugar Cookie, even though is at much higher % just plays around with the biscuit, same as FA Torrone which again just adds a little more depth and plays really nice with Bavarian Cream.
8-10 This is where shit gets interesting:

INW Blueberry at this percentage gives just a really light hint of blueberry, probably could up this to 1% to really make this a blueberry cheesecake, but I quite like it as is.

INW Pitaya - I used this because I feel like it mends everything together, and make the individual ingredients not jump out as much, this could be easily omitted probably.

Koolada - This is the stuff I knew was the jackpot when I added it. You don't really feel the coolness per se, but cheesecakes are IMO best served cold, and this is as close I can get to that. I would suggest anybody trying a little bit of this to a cheesecake, it gives the mix a really interesting spin.
I'll see myself out, this is probably way more bullshit that I needed to write and my tastebuds are really hammered from a lot of today's mixing, so I'll might do a revision tomorrow. It's most likely chock full of diketones, that could explain why it tastes so good to me :D
I see people with these huge NYC Cheesecake (CAP) %'s and think it tastes, and smells, like wet dog at 5-6%. With that being said, I have to use this flavor and really dig the flavor. I have tried many Peanut Butter mixes with the Cheesecake, but the high percentage mixed with the peanut butter + bavarian creme mix was wet dog all day. Below I will post my most recent plain jane cheesecake recipe. I call it #3 Cheesecake.

I know the Bisc(INW) is a lot. I am using this much to get a taste for it. Obvs, feel free to sub anything into this. I wanted the BC(TFA) and FVC(TFA) to work together with a bit of DdL(TFA) to add a bold creaminess. Good Flavor of the week this time around!
I have been using FW cheesecake in my Lenola Cream clone (coming soon), mostly because I don't have any other cheesecakes (except TFA Graham Crust). I suspect it is the main culprit for some coil gunking that I'm experiencing. Any suggestions here? I think I've seen other clone attempt use CAP NY but haven't tried it myself. Are the strengths similar?
Blueberry cheesecake just isn't complex enough. We need to go deeper.

I was going for something like a slice of cheesecake topped with blueberries in a bourbon reduction, and this is pretty damn close.
First, I swear I'm not stalking you and trying to reply to all of your comments and posts. Second, looks like I'm finally going to have to order some blueberry extra, and some greek yogurt while I'm at it. TFA Blackberry can be such a difficult flavor to work with but this looks amazing. Vaping a Bourbon Blackberry at this very moment and thinking that some blueberry cheesecake would go so well with it.

TFA Blackberry is almost one of those 'X drops per Y mL' extracts. I'm a little scared to use it over 1%, but it definitely pumps up the blueberry in this recipe and gives it a sort of darker flavor overall, as one would expect from blueberries in bourbon.
Fair warning, it is really boozey for the first 24-48 hours after mixing, but that does mellow out.
That is exactly what I imagined the 1% Blackberry would do when I read your recipe, help (along with brown sugar) turn bright fresh blueberries into blueberry bourbon reduction; without it you just have blueberries floating in bourbon.
And here I was thinking, as I copy down the recipe and make a note on my "to order next" list, I'll make that exactly the way The Cat said to make it the first time, like a good little DIY e-juice stalker, but I bet future revisions will require more bourbon. But now I have been fairly warned.

Spring Cheesecake

The new york cheesecake is obvious, there's not much to say about it except that it provides a great cheesecake base, the only thing it slightly lacks is the biscuit base but that's fixed with the INW Biscuit. I wouldn't recommend putting the biscuit any higher than 1% because I find it imparts a very dry mouthfeel when pushed any higher. My first attempt at this recipe included the FW Raspberry Natural at 4%, I assumed that it would be a weaker flavour than the CAP stuff but actually found this to not be true and it ended up overpowering the other fruits. This was only the second iteration but I'm pleased with how it turned out
Thats a lot of biscuit. How long do you let this set and steep before vaping?
Big fan of Cap NY CC and TFA CC w/G together for a CC. This is an adaptation of a version with Cap VC replaced with NY CC.

I have the TFA cheesecake with graham crust. I can't really afford to get many other flavours atm. So far I have TFA bavarian cream, strawberry ripe, vanilla bean ice cream and TFA custard. If anybody knows a good flavour combo with those ingtedients that has cheesecake as its main flavour than lemme know :)
What do you guys typically recommend for steeping when using Cheesecake (I'm using CAPs)? I heard that its one of those flavors that need a bit of extra time, but I'm just getting anxious after a couple of days haha.
To me, it doesn't really reach a respectable level for about 2 weeks, and really shines after 3-4 weeks.
I've spent a lot of time trying to create a blackberry/blueberry cheesecake, but it's tough because it needs a lot of steep time to figure out how the fruit flavors will end up. So far, I'm finding that even if they are over-powering initially, the cheesecake mellows them out a lot after a good steep.
Im actually making the same recipe right now haha, that's whit I'm asking. It was my first shot at it and its only been a few days but so far the Blackberry is coming through way too harsh. I can send you my percentages if you want, but again Im not sure how good its going to be, just gunna have to wait. Id be curious to hear your feedback from your recipie as well as we can probably help each other out.

I have nearly 2 notebook pages of notes and 6 different recipes that didn't turn out the way I wanted. My main conclusion thus far is TFA Blackberry is strong as hell and needs a tart supporting flavor to round it out, as it is very potent and rather candy-like. I have found that FA Bilberry works well in doing that, but my blueberry is still in the works. I'm thinking of cheating a CAP Harvest Berry or FA Fruit Mix along with it, but I would much rather have my own blend of individual fruits than using a "premixed" fruit.
Also, NY Cheesecake is difficult in the sense that it changes so much over time. It really mellows out fruits after a couple weeks. I'm in the process of trying to nail it down just right, but I'm thinking it's going to take some trial and error with the steep time. As of now, I have left it aside and am working on other recipes since perfecting it was consuming me (and my empty juice bottles). I hope to eventually post it here, but I want it to be amazing before I do so.
I would love to figure out a clone of Bluebird. Anyone have any guesses of a recipe to start with? Good to hear the analysis on different cheese cake flavors might try grabbing CAP.
