Is it possible to drip with a tank? Let me elaborate. I have a cleito tank, and I want to make up some juices. Obviously testing with tanks is hard work, but can I remove the glass, and drip into or onto the cleito coil? If possible, could someone explain in detail to make sure I'm doing it right? Thanks!
Buy a cheap dripper and call it a day
Buy a $10 velocity clone and you're set.
You can do what you're asking, but talk about a huge pain in the ass.
Yeah. Get the velocity clone.. I cheaped out and got the derringer clone for 7$ and it heats up like a mofo.. such a small deck..
I have 6 derringer clones that I keep clean and wicked for testing.
I love my derringer so much. Which reminds me, I need to order new replacement screws for it >>
Get them at CrunkVapes, he's a good guy.
I guess you could, but why even bother? Buy a cheap RDA, make a small single coil and wick it.
I just drop some liquid on unwicked coils and take a medium draw. Works for me.
This is what I've been wanting to do forever. I do not want to get into wire wrapping and building though, I have enough hobbies! So my thought was:

Combined with something like:

I've never been able to get the same flavour out of an rda as I can with a tank. Recently bought the Avocado rta to use as my testing tank and it's pretty much perfect for the job.
Capacity is only 3ml, and if you use only a single coil you can fill it using a 120 ml twist top bottle on the unused side.
Biggest plus side is that the capacity gives you enough of an idea of how it tastes without wasting a large amount of juice if you need to make some further adjustments.
>I've never been able to get the same flavour out of an rda as I can with a tank.
Strange, most people experience the opposite. RDA's generally give the best flavor of any type of atomizer, as long as you get one that is geared more for flavor chasers than cloud chasers (but most cloud chasing RDA's can give better flavor, or at least equal flavor, than most tanks).
Which RDA's have you tried, and what did you build on them?
I've used the velocity mini (clone) and derringer.
I've tried micro coils, twisted, claptons, spaced... you name it I've tried it. They all tasted muted to me. Best flavour I've ever had was a 24/28 clapton on the single coil deck of my Cthulhu v2, until I broke it. These days I'm happy with just simple dual 8 wrap 24 gauge coils on the dual coil deck.
If you have aromamizer supreme the RTA, the tank comes off, and you can completely seal it. Then you can just drip onto the coils, then put the "lid" which is actually a tank back on. Don't open up the juice control, and you'll be vaping your new flavor as if your RTA was an RDA.
Aromamizer supreme ftw.
You are on the right track! If you use a tank, taste test with a tank. I use my Kayfun Lite as a dripper to taste test, just remove the tank section and use the build deck with the chimney in place and vape straight off the chimney. I get a perfect idea of what my juice will taste like when I load up a tank.
But a Derringer clone is nice and cheap and you can just pull the top off which is very convenient. The small chamber closely resembles a tank's flavor. That's a great option as well.
