Recipe Idea/Brainstorm: Anyone ever tried mixing peanut butter with tropical fruits with any success?

So last night I was having a strong bout of Juice ADD, and ended up dripping Charlies Chalk Dust Peanut Butter & Jesus and then Adirondack's Cayuga back to back.

The combination was...interesting, but actually pretty enjoyable. The peanut butter from PB&J was what mostly came through. Mixed with the Cayuga, it was an interesting creaminess that was way different than just regular creams provide, with an obvious peanut butter flavor underneath the fruit.

I have a juice that I mix often that is Cayuga-esque...but I've never messed around with Peanut Butter concentrates. I'm wondering if a juice would be successful if it combined creamy peanut butter notes with smooth tropical fruitiness. I think I'm going to order some Peanut Butter concentrate regardless, but has anyone ever experimented with this before, and if so, how did it go? I'm trying to think outside of the traditional PB & Banana box, cuz Cayuga doesn't really have anything resembling banana in it.

I actually did a peanut butter base with some fruits because I was sick of nearly all of my mixes being a sort of "cream". I thought it was really bright and amazing, sort of jammy if you can call it that, with a prominent lime (which I wanted) for about a week, however it's been about 2 weeks and the flavors are sort of "mucking" together now, the fruits have really calmed down and so has the peanut butter but just slightly.

Here's what I did:

TFA Peanut Butter 5%
Acetyl Pyrazine 1%
CAP Marshmallow 1%
TFA Blackberry 1%
FA Fuji 0.5%
TFA Key Lime 2.5%
FA Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) 0.5%
TPA Dragonfruit 1%

Flavor total: 12.5%

I don't really have excellent flavor notes, but I had been wanting to blend Blackberry with Key Lime without using a cream base.

I used the Fuji for tartness to make the super strong Blackberry more realistic, as it carries a bit of cheap candy flavor by itself. PS, keep the TFA Blackberry under 3% or it just gets really weird tasting and overpowers the mix.

I used the Lime Tahity for a bit of bitterness with Key Lime as the sweeter of the 2 in order to create a nice rounded lime flavor. Lime is also the prominent fruit flavor in the mix, which is what I was going for.

I threw in Dragonfruit because I thought it sounded like something crazy to help meld the fruit flavors together. It wasn't really meant to be tasted, but I thought it would be a nice complimenting flavor at 1%. I feel it accomplished that.

The Peanut Butter probably sits a little high at 5%, I will probably back it down to the 3-4% range and back off the grainy additive AP to 0.5%

I looked back at this recipe and see I put Marshmallow in at 1%. I really don't know why I decided to put it in there. Maybe to make the peanut butter creamier? But, I think that's why my fruits are fading after 2 weeks, so I plan on leaving that out of my next batch.

I prefer to keep the two separate but this was uniquely pleasant:

8% TFA Peanut Butter

3% CAP Golden Pineapple

1% TFA Marshmallow

1% FA Meringue

Or sub Marshmallow and Meringue for 1.5% TFA Sweet Cream and tone down the PB to %5 for a brighter/fruiter version.

I have been meaning to mix an apple and peanut butter recipe. Probably as easy as fugi and a peanut butter with maybe some marshmallow. Sliced apples with peanut butter is so good.

Yeah it's not really tropical fruity but you could also add 1-2% of dragonfruit and/or kiwi in there aswell.

One of my favorite sandwiches from a now-defunct restaurant was...get this....mango, blue cheese, caramelized onions, and peanut butter on toast. Delicious, if a bit odd sounding. So...maybe peanut butter + mango? I think I'm going to try it!

Yea...I searched "Peanut Butter Tropical" and got one page of results, with none of the posts covering this particular topic.

Do you happen to have better search parameters that would get me where I need to go?

Thank you, but again...not finding anything after sifting through a couple pages.

I don't quite understand why I got jumped on...this cannot be that common of an idea? It's not like I'm asking about strawberries and cream. Unless its buried in some thread from months ago, the search bar yields virtually no results for the kind of question/topic I brought up.
