Like most of us here I love my strawberry vapes. So much that sometimes I fear that I will become one of you that can't taste strawberries. Sometimes I have to venture out and mess with other flavors, but strawberries and creams/custards are just so easy to work with.
This recipe doesn't bring anything new to the table and some of you probably make something very similar. When I first mixed this up I kind of forgot about it for a while. Then, I vaped it and thought, "this tastes like strawberry milk, what did I put in here again?"
I get strawberry milk from this and it's not what I was expecting. I try to convince myself that I don't but I do. Maybe it's the placebo effect but I don't mind.

I use FA Caramel pretty often, mostly as a sweetener that adds a bit of caramel flavor. At 1% you get the sweetness but not enough caramel to turn it into a caramel vape, especially with the custard.
TPA Cheesecake (graham crust) was used because frankly I was curious. I don't use this flavor too often and wanted to experiment with it more. I see people using it in "milk" mixes so maybe that's where I get the milk from.
TPA Strawberry ripe...duh. Everyones favorite. It adds that semi-sweet and tart strawberry that we all know and love. I enjoy this flavor at 3% and up. Usually I find myself using it around 3%-7%. 5% is good here.
I used CAP Sweet Strawberry here to add sweetness to ripe strawberry. I think this flavor has good and bad properties. It's pretty easy to pick out of a mix because of it's unique after taste. Sometimes I feel it can have a watered down feel, here at 3% it doesn't and just blends well the ripe strawberry.
CAP vanilla custard...again, duh. I find at 6% you're going to get a definite custard taste. It's a strong and thick flavor, it doesn't over power this mix though, even after 2-3 weeks of steeping. I've used lower %'s and always go back to 6%.
So, that's it. Pretty predictable recipe that probably doesn't deserve it's own thread, but it's better than writing a paper on corporate social responsibility.
Also, Bib is a band. I usually name my juice after whatever is playing at the time. Listen if you like punk.
I use Cheesecake graham crust in my own custard base @ 2% and I think it's just phenomenal. Looks like a pretty solid recipe, might have to give cap sweet strawberry mixed with tfa straw ripe a shot.
Awesome! I need to get FA Caramel because I see it EVERYWHERE. Next order, I promise! In the meantime, could you think of something else to add some sweetness? Maybe TFA Double Chocolate or FLV/TFA Peanut Butter? Thanks! Good luck on your paper!
I like the use of FA Caramel in this recipe. I will add this to my Shisha Vanilla Custard. Thanks.
I haven't used my shisha vanilla yet. What's you're recipe look like?
My mix is a simple adaptation from this recipe: http://reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/454c97/psa_mixing_a_big_batch_of_a_base_that_you_like_to/?ref=search_posts
My version:
- CAP Vanilla Custard 5%
- INW Shisha Vanilla 1%
- CAP French Vanilla 1%
TFA Graham Crust Cheesecake is so much better than their other cheesecake flavor.
Swap in TFA Raspberry Sweet for the Strawberry Ripe if you feel like mixing it up.
Is that Carmel the same as this?
I mixed up something similar last night, but I used a drop of INW Raspberry to give dimension to the Sweet Strawberry and subbed Vanilla Bean Ice Cream for the vanilla custard. I was going for a Strawberry Blonde flavor profile after a recent trip to Coldstone. I still need to play with the flavor percentages to balance it properly but it's definitely a tasty mix!
