I'm new here and new to mixing, so I wholeheartedly apologize if this is a stupid question or the wrong sub. Either way, I bought a sample bottle of TFA Key Lime flavoring and was thrilled to try mixing it until I saw Vitamin E in the ingredient list. It seemed suspicious, and, though I've Google'd myself insane, I haven't found much of anything in regard to its safety.
Chances are it's synthetic Vitamin E ('all-rac'-α-tocopherol), which is water soluble. There's no lipids in a PG solution, so natural tocopherols wouldn't be usable.
Safety, I'm not sure. But you're not going to be at risk of lipoid pneumonia, if that's your concern.
Why is it in there? Most likely as an oxidation preventative for the other components of the flavor (specifically Lime Oil).
First I've heard of vitamin E in vape flavoring. Still seems safer than cigarettes.
I like you!
Still "seems" safer than cigarettes!!!
I believe that vaping is many times safer than cigarettes, but who knows, more than likely it is much safer, akin to doing some good old aroma therapy while drinking a Monster energy drink.
Just wanted to say that, have an upvote!
I remember vitamin ejuice being a thing a few years ago. Apparently, it's still around.
