Everybody's got one. What's yours?
With Strawberries & Cream being one of the most popular, most forgiving, and tastiest flavor profiles, I thought it'd be interesting to see what everyone's take is on Strawberries & Cream.
This is my Strawberries & Cream. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
Strawberries & Cream

- TFA Strawberry Ripe @ 4%
- FA Strawberry @ 1.5%
- INW Vanilla Shisha @ 1.5%
- CAP Vanilla Custard @ 2%
- FA Meringue @ 1%
- TFA Dragon Fruit @ .5%
- FA Fresh Cream @ .5%
Notes
Steep: Shake-n-Vape. The creams benefit from a slight steep (1-2 days). If it sits too long the strawberries may start to fall off.
It's focused more on the cream base with a nice realistic, semi-sweet strawberry in it. I've been making strawberries & cream off and on for a few months and so far I've found this to be my favorite iteration.
The TFA Strawberry Ripe & FA Strawberry make for a nice realistic, semi-sweet strawberry, that is prominent but not overbearing. The dragonfruit helps to make the strawberry "pop" a little more in the creams. I've found 1.5% to be the highest I can bring the FA Strawberry before it starts to get weird on me.
Vanilla Custard helps give the cream some body and depth. INW Shisha adds to the creaminess and vanilla tones. Meringue accents the creaminess and gives some of the sweetness you need, and the fresh cream rounds out the cream in to a nice lucious cream.
The only other thing I might consider tweaking in this is giving a slight dairy note, since that is not really present. Maybe FA condensed milk somewhere between .05% - .125%
I've tried several strawberries and cream recipes but I have yet to find one that I would mix more than once.
I've tried numerous strawberries and cream recipes trying to find something similar to Predator's Phantom and have never found one remotely close... until I tried a recipe from New Amsterdam Vape that he gave on the DIY or Die podcast. It's now the only S&C that I vape and is one of my top 5 fav recipes.
- TFA Bavarian Cream 1%
- CAP Cake Batter 2%
- CAP Vanilla Custard V1 1%
- CAP Sweet Strawberry 3%
- TFA Strawberry 3%
- FA Marshmallow 1%
- FA Meringue 1%
This tastes more like a Strawberry Milk imo and is great as a shake and vape and only gets better with time. I've tried dozens of S&C recipes and have found that I just do not like the flavor of strawberry ripe as it is too floral for me and I wanted something more like a sweet strawberry syrup, kind of like what you might get on a strawberry sundae. This combo of TFA Strawberry and CAP Sweet strawberry nails that perfectly for me.
All credit for this recipe goes to New Amsterdam Vape as I have not altered it in any form.
Hey, that looks familiar! I actually did a video on how I arrived at this recipe and all my other Strawberry Cream attempts.
It's definitely one of my more favorite Strawberry Creams, glad to hear you like it!
Thanks for sharing the recipe! Strawberry Cream is one of those recipes that's easy to make but hard to perfect and after many failed attempts of my own, I was super excited to try yours and instantly know that it was exactly what I was looking for.
Just started DIY, so my flavors aren't crazy complex yet. Anyways, this is mine (I call it Dragonberry).
- 6% TFA Strawberry (Ripe)
- 5% TFA Vanilla Swirl
- 2% TFA Dragonfruit
The vanilla starts to fill out after a couple days of steeping, but it's still a solid shake 'n vape.
Edit: Max VG baby, I figure there's plenty of PG in there already with all the flavoring.
I've tried a couple different mixes, but as I just started diying, I don't have a ton of flavors to use. One I like the best, mostly due to simplicity and a pretty decent taste,
TFA Strawberry ripe @ 7% TFA Bavarian cream @ 4%
Simple is sometimes the best. Definitely a bunch of good recipes out there that are 2-3 ingredients. I sometimes tend to overcomplicate things haha
Credit to the glorious /u/tek35 who shared this recipe here several months ago. My favorite diy recipe by far and a true adv. I ordered some 100ml bottles of flavors just yesterday as I'm going to vape gallons of this stuff.
● 5% Sweet Strawberry (CAP)
● 4% Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)
● 2% Bavarian Cream (TFA)
● 1% Vienna Cream (FA)
● 1% Fresh Cream (FA)
I've always wanted a true strawberries and cream. Most I've tried are strawberry and milk so here's my recipe.
Mixed at 70VG/30PG 3mg nic.
-Strawberry (TFA) 2.5% -Sweet Strawberry (Capella) 2.5% -Bavarian Cream (TFA) 3% -Cream (Liquid Barn) 2%
This flavor is the perfect strawberry and cream for me! Bavarian cream is critical in this recipe. It gives that nice vanilla cream taste. I used liquid barn cream because I had it lying around from my first DIY purchase. It doesn't give much a of cream flavor (85% VG base) but rather the heaviness feeling of cream. So, any flavor that adds heaviness can be substituted for Cream. The two strawberries compliment each other nicely. Overall, I feel like this vape is 60% cream and 40%strawberry. It tastes pretty good fresh but benefits from a couple days of steeping. I haven't noticed any additional benefit from additional steeping.
As most of us probably have, I've tried tens of variations on strawberry and cream recipes. Recently, this is what I've settled on (although no doubt it will change again in the future).
It's not a true strawberry and cream, but also not like a milkshake. The strawberry is almost candy like, but it's also super creamy. Hard to describe. I mix it Max VG.
Ingredient|% :---|---: Cream (FLV)|2 Cream Fresh (FA)|2 Marshmallow (TPA)|1 Strawberry (TPA)|5 Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA)|0.5 Vanilla Custard (Flavorah)|3
I struggle with Sweet Strawberry and Strawberry Ripe, I just don't like them. TFA Strawberry, however, I love... so that was always going to be where I started.
The FLV Cream and FA Cream Fresh combine to create an authentic cream taste and texture.
TFA Marshmallow and FLV Vanilla Custard layer on top of that texture with a smooth silky texture with more cream and vanilla. FA Marshmallow would probably offer a similar silky texture to that of the FLV Custard, and could likely replace the TFA Marshmallow and allow you to drop the Custard percentage while achieving similar effects (although I've been out of FA Marshmallow for a while so have theorized on this, but not tried it).
Finally, the sweetener... because I like it. Shoot me, ridicule me if you wish... I like it, and I vape it.
Right on, sweetener definitely has its place. Been really wanting to check out FLV Cream, seeing pop up a lot lately. You have any notes you could share on the Cream?
It's really good. It gives a nice creamy mouthfeel and adds a sort or realistic cream (not like a vanilla cream, like actual cream which here in UK you'd buy it as "single cream", not sure if it's called that elsewhere) taste with an almost milky hint to it. It's somewhat similar to TFA Sweet Cream, but better (imo). It goes great in almost any creamy recipe and also goes really well in cereal recipes at 1-2%, giving a milky aftertaste/feel, almost like when milk coats your tongue.
Out of all the FLV flavours I've had (which is quite a few) this is the one I've used the most and it now goes into an awful lot of my recipes.
Hope I'm not overhyping here, but I'd definitely recommend it.
I'm the same when it comes to those strawberries. I just can't handle them anymore. Same for vbic for some reason it makes my mouth hurt. I may have to try t his recipe tonight. I don't have the cream flv though...any thoughts on a sub? maybe sweet cream?
Here is a strawberry recipe I have been mixing lately.
- CAP Vanilla Cupcake 3.5%
- FA Vienna Cream 2%
- TFA Strawberry 5%
- FA Lemon Sicily 0.25%
This is more of a darker strawberry and cream flavor with a nice sharpness. When I first got Vienna cream and vanilla cupcake I mixed them together and was suprised with the results. A real nice flavor. Recently I thought to mix strawberry with this cream combo. I found that strawberry mixes well with these two flavors. I added a drop of lemon Sicily to brighten up the mix so it wasn't so muddled. It really makes a world of difference. Try it with a strawberry recipe next time you mix. I'm still working on this but I want to keep it simple without adding to many flavors.
I posted this a while ago. It's a clone of Captivape's Strawberry Milk, and is my favorite strawberry cream. Simple and delicious.

I've been dying for a Captivape clone. Now I vaguely remember finding your thread with this recipe a while back but I somehow completely forgot to order the flavors. Not this time, though! I added everything to my cart and now I just have to wait for my funds to transfer to my Google Wallet account so I can complete the order.
I can't wait to try this. If it's even decently close to the real thing, this may end up being my go-to liquid. Thanks for sharing this (again)!
I just want a strawberry milk (like nesquick). For some reason when I make one I always Fuck it up pretty bad.
For sure, that nesquick is a tough one to nail. I think because the actual flavor relies heavily on dairy, and with e-liquid a good dairy lies on a very thin line between undetectable & spoiled milk.

CAP Sweet Cream - 1.5%

TFA VBIC - 1%

CAP VBIC - 0.3%

CAP NY Cheesecake - 0.5%
Best in a mix of 75+ VG. You can up both the strawberry or NY cheesecake to achieve creamier and/or more pronounced Strawberry. Best after 3 days steering time to let it go from just off clear to a nice golden.
Enjoy.
This is an adapted unicorn clone recipe which produces a very subtle taste, more creamy with a back note of Strawberry on the exhale.
Interesting, I might check this out! I did like the Unicorn Milk but by goodness that much sweet strawberry is sickly sweet. I've noticed to I really like TFA VBIC over CAP VBIC so that's a good addition
True, I didn't like the cap vbic on its own was quite peppery to me so switching in tfa with a little cap was a nice balance. You could also sub in some marshmallow at about 1% to really round it all off and dampen any prominent Strawberry without overpowering it with sweetness, I still like to taste the Strawberry though in the exhale.
I just use MBV moo juice! I love salty butter and soap. Jokes aside, I really like one that I saw in a DIYordie video on YouTube. How come everyone loves strawberries and cream?
Which one? I think he has a few that kind of fall in the realm of strawberries & cream. That's a really good question. I'd say because it's a simple enough flavor profile to not overwhelm the palate, but complex enough to keep you tantalized. Generally speaking in a culinary aspect, people lean towards strawberries as a favorite fruit, and most desserts have an aspect of cream or butter so it makes sense
I can't remember, I just know it was in a video with two recipes and he called it his adv. Tastes like nesquick stuff. Yeah I guess you're right. It's funny to see how much difference there is to what people prefer when it comes to EU vs NA. Most Europeans prefere non desert/cream vapes. Give us some fruit with licorice or mint/menthol and we'll jizz all over the place
Haha yeah I totally love my licorice too. I have a black licorice recipe and everybody thinks I'm weird when I vape it lol. Only person I ever got to try it was a smoker at the light rail station, said it was like he was eating a piece of black licorice and would give vaping another go since he didn't know there were flavors like that.

Working some more with Strawberries & Cream profile, I've come across this iteration and it's quickly become my favorite. It's a nice, pronounced, sweet strawberry blended with a sweet, semi-tart, thick cream. It's not cloyingly sweet, the strawberry isn't too artificial, and the cream isn't too heavy or overwhelmingly dairy.
The Strawberries -- TFA Strawberry Ripe, which most of us are familiar with, brings a good amount of sweetness, and a ripe undertone to your strawberry. FA Strawberry tastes like a juiced strawberry to me, and brings some freshness and authenticity to the strawberry. INW Shisha Strawberry is a very pronounced, smooth, almost creamy strawberry, bordering on an artifical strawberry flavor. All of these combined round out a delicious, pronounced, strawberry.
The Cream -- INW Vanilla Shisha is a nice creamy vanilla, that serves to really accent the creams. TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream brings sweetness, creaminess, and a bit of a brightness to the cream to really lift it up. FLV Cream brings a slight dairy note to the mix, while rounding out the creams and giving it some body. LA Cream Cheese Icing does a great job of providing some sweet creaminess to the mix while also giving it a bit of a tart punch to really take it in a different direction and wake up your palate.
The overall combination of the strawberries and the creams leave you with a sweet, complex, satisfying strawberries and cream that doesn't leave me searching for anything.
