A smooth berry vape - Full of flavor and an appropriate premium to me the least :-)
submitted over 9 years ago by SpRoOoOoFrugivore

Who loves Berry Vapes

A quick background on how I mix. I depend on God's given senses to mix all my liquid Taste and Smell. Although, a deep knowledge of the chemistry is probably the best way to go ! But, am an electrical engineer not a chemist. And this method really works for me. Also, I don't do versions ! I do Variations. Once I mix it and its good, then I don't enhance anything and move to the next one. If it's bad then I toss the whole thing and start from scratch with totally different angle if interested in the profile . Since mixing is a hobby of mine not for commercial purposes ! though I made serious money mixing to folks . No complains

I don't have time to test flavors on multiple percentages and flavor notes developed by you or others are very helpful . However, as taste is subjective , what you taste might be completely different . Unless you're /u/NotCharlesManson , then I will take your word for it since we share the same taste and also he is a glorious bastard. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

~~Some of you guys are creative with names so give this a cool name and let me know.~~

Boysen Da' Hood

Vendor | Flavor| % ---|---|---- TFA | Whipped Cream | 3 TFA | Blueberry Wild | 2 CAP | Harvest Berry | 2 FW | Kiwi | 2 FW | Sweet Tarts | 2 FW | Boysenberry | 1 INW | Strawberry | 0.5 Recommended | Sweetner | 0.75 - 1

Ratio PG/VG: I mix this at 25/75 . But if you like to drip , then MAX it out and it will be equally delicious but slightly sweeter.

Age Time for /u/abdada 2-3 Days for the harvest berry to settle and whipped cream to come out.

Notes

Harvest Berry: Man this flavor is complex, it's really divine when used properly. You can taste most of berries in it . At first I want to make this at 4-6% but from experience it really overwhelms other flavors. Most of the flavors used aside from INW is kinda weak so 2% is the sweet spot for what am shooting for.

Blueberry Wild: OH BOY , am going to try to explain this as best as possible. You know that warm taste and sensation in the back of your tongue. That what this does , oh and NO HOMO . It enhanced the blueberry note in Harvest Berry and just took the flavor to the next level .

Sweet Tarts/Boysenberry: TART TART TART TART, this is what you need in any dark berry vape honestly - Can't believe you're asking this . I have more berry flavors , at this point I felt the recipe was really complex and I didn't want to overwhelm beginner mixers TBH.

Strawberry: COME ON MAN! How else am I going to add an earthy subtle note without changing the profile - DUH!

Kiwi: When I was developing the recipe, I want to add complexity pairing and a twist. I looked really hard at the flavors I have and all I was seeing is this flavor . It's spot on to me and added that missing element. One of those flavors that keep you wondering in a mix . WTF AM I TASTING??

Whipped Cream: This flavor is soo fluffy . I needed a cream ! Bavarian , custard, Catalan...etc . Will work in this recipe if you dare . But my focus was on the fruit and I needed a rounder . This provides that airy cream with no vanilla taste . It's perfect for this .

Sweetner: This one is optional but highly recommended . I am not a fan of using it! And more than 1% in a recipe is not O.K in my book. TBH and with all do respect to anyone.

Final NOTE: You can't sub:

  • Blueberry Wild
  • Harvest Berry
  • Kiwi - TFA Kiwi Double will not work because to me is a weird type of Kiwi that I dislike .
  • The rest flavors play a key element in the profile - And if you are experienced enough you would know. But am happy to answer any questions.

This Recipe is a variation with focus on Harvest Berry

Vendor | Flavor| % ---|---|---- TFA | Whipped Cream | 3 CAP | Harvest Berry | 6 FW | Sweet Tarts | 2 FW | Boysenberry | 2 INW | Strawberry | 0.5 Recommended | Sweetner | 0.75 - 1

I apologize for not posting enough recipes. But, with all that stealing and selling commercially makes me sick. And I would love to help the community. And TBH am not a fan of notes and writing !
(︺︹︺) .

I might make another post for a Proper Strawberry Kiwi Recipe based on this base or just post it in the monthly thread.

I hope you guys enjoy this. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Late to the party, but I'll still throw a suggestion out there: Sweet Boy Berries.

It's only slightly gay, not unlike some of our illustrious members. I'm looking at you, /u/NotCharlesManson and /u/tranceinate ☺

I need to pick up Harvest Berry and see how I like it compared to my own take on mixed berry. Still need to find a use for my FLV Boysenberry.

I love Harvest Berry. It's the only flavor I have to order in sizes larger than 30ml at a time. It's just fantastic

Does the herbal aftertaste ever go away with steeping?

1 points

by SpRoOoOoover 9 years agoFrugivore

Yep . The taste would be a smooth creamy berry throughout. There will be a nice mouth-feel, sweetness and lingering taste However you will have an earthy subtle note coming from INW Strawberry which explained in the notes and what I actually want initially.

Three days is all you need . Enjoy

What are the different components to CAP Harvest Berry? Im thinking I might see how it tastes with my own Mixed Berry base and see if it might compliment.

My mixed berry base is

TFA Blueberry Wild 3%

TFA Blueberry Extra 3%

FA Bilberry 0.5%

TFA Blackberry 1%

TFA Raspberry Sweet 2%

If you like Apple, The Anissa Kate recipe I posted yesterday highlights FLV Boysenberry really well.

Edit: In my opinion at least.
