#Backstory
This has been the most time I've spent on a recipe. To say I feel relieved to finally perfect it is an understatement. I've been working on a Fruity Pebbles mix for probably 6 months now, off and on. I've felt like I'm getting close, then come back to it later and it's way off. I've gone through probably 40-50 attempts over those months and I feel like I finally have everything exactly where I want it to be. I didn't want to use any of the "cereal starter" flavors (TFA Fruit Circles, etc.) because I wanted to make my own, similar to the way the Cereal Killa clone was.
After months of toying around with this and getting frustrated, I decided to just take a break and try to pick apart different notes in Fruity Pebbles cereal. This helped tremendously and I'm glad I stopped trying to make things work before I exhausted myself on this recipe.
I released this first on the DIY or Die podcast (InTheMix) to give the listeners a first chance to try it. (Also, if you missed it, I'm the new cohost, joining /u/skiddlzninja and /u/enyawreklaw. Thanks, guys!)
The choice for publicly releasing this on All The Flavors will be explained below.
#Cereal Base
CAP Sugar Cookie is the main "crunch" for the cereal, along with TFA Graham Cracker Clear. The two play off of each other just the way I want in this recipe. Sugar Cookie brings the sugary sweet, almost grainy taste, and Graham Cracker Clear adds enough light honey, crackery taste for a light, plain crispy cereal note.
FW Hazelnut adds a little smooth nuttiness to the mix that you won't notice unless you're looking for it. It bridges the gap between Sugar Cookie and GCC.
TFA Toasted Marshmallow adds fluffiness, along with a slightly sweet, toasted/baked touch.
#Cream/Milk
FA Vienna Cream and FA Meringue obviously go together hand in hand in any cereal mix. Vienna gives a sweet cream, with Meringue lending the sugary frosting, with a touch of milkiness.
LA Cream Cheese Icing is the real star for the milk base. In my previous attempts, I was keeping Vienna and Meringue, and just playing around with something that might give me some maltiness. TFA Malted Milk was the first choice, but that just didn't work. I tried probably 15 other flavors before deciding to add CCI one night. It really surprised me with what it could offer to this type of mix. It adds a slight malty taste when combined with the cereal base, and attaches itself onto Meringue perfectly at this ratio. If you're making a recipe that utilizes cream, try CCI at 1% just to see what it does. It's magic when used properly.
#Fruits
CAP Lemon Lime was almost a given for the main fruit taste. At this percentage, it's a little more lime than lemon, but that's what I was going for, so I was happy with leaving it where I started at.
FW Blood Orange is the perfect orange for a cereal mix. I first tried CAP Sweet Tangerine, but it was a little too candy-like for me. FA Mandarin was a little too harsh when mixed with the other fruits, and FA Orange wasn't bright enough for what I wanted to do. (Make sure to shake this flavor a ton before you use it. It separates like no other.)
FA Black Cherry was a hard one to make work. I wasn't sure if I was getting more of a regular cherry, or a black cherry in Fruity Pebbles. FA Black Cherry is one of those flavors that are either really noticeable and overwhelming, or not noticeable at all. The percentage in this mix walks that line just right for my taste.
Shake and vape, but the creams really come out to play after a few days.
Mixed at 30/70.
#All The Flavors
Some of you may be disappointed to not see an ELR link for this recipe. I assure you that I will put it up there in due time, but this is mostly to let you guys be aware of the amazing site our very own /u/queuetue has put together. In my opinion, he's taken the good, basic functions of ELR and made them better. The site shows availability from vendors (BCV, ECX, Gremlin, WizardLabs) for each flavor. The flavor names are taken from the manufacturer's site, so flavors listed as TPA Strawberry Ripe, TFA Strawberry Ripe, TPA Ripe Strawberry, TFA Strawberry (ripe), TPA RipeStrawberry, etc. aren't going to be an issue. If a flavor that you have isn't listed (which is going to be unlikely), you can either ask Q to add it at r/alltheflavors, or add it yourself, which will only be viewable by you. There are tons of features for this website, but I suggest you check it out to see for yourself.
He's also released an Android app under the same title, which is what I use 90% of the time. It's amazing and works perfectly for what I do. It does cost (very little), but when you see the work, time, and money he has put into the project, you'll see why.
I think I need to add that I'm not getting any special treatment from Q for saying all of this. We're good friends, but I've paid for the app myself because it's that good. I've been using it since the beta release and he's had to deal with my whininess for a couple months now.
In closing, I hope you guys like this. It's been the one mix that has stumped me for the longest time. Also, make sure to check out All The Flavors!!!
<insert substitution question, or regret at missing ingredients here>
All The Flavors definitely needs attention, it's such a great app.
Was that a veiled question, or a jab at the subbers?
I have all of these but cereals aren't my thing, so just poking the bear and taking an opportunity to piggyback on someone supporting All The Flavors. Piggyback rides are allowed here, right?
Sounds great! Mixing it up right away! I've been working on a deep fried fruity pebbles ice cream bar that a friend requested, do you think this would go well with some vbic, joy, and koolada to top it off or is it too complex?
Don't know if I should focus more on the deep fried ice cream part and just throw in a simpler cereal mix. I just don't like to get too many flavors in a mix you know? For me at least after a point they just all drown each other out.
Hmm..that could be interesting, but I think it might end up getting muddled if you use this for a start. I would say try using the fruit base and CCI, and work from that. Maybe around .3% CAP Graham Cracker would help a little with the "fried" aspect.
That is, if you, trance, and I can't find a company willing to create a fried flavor
Fuck dude, I need to order some flavours now. This recipe actually makes it worth it for me to place a new flavour order because this sounds exquisite and I need to try it.
Love the notes on this, and that approach you took on building this recipe is how I'm starting to approach my recipes, probably why my drunken pears from last night worked out so well. Looks great.
Finally, tell Wayne to fucking get me on the show more often. I loved chatting with y'all and I am finally feeling more confident in my mixing and actually have shit I could say. And, ya know, any chance I get to physically speak to your beautiful self <3
Absolutely I'll make him bring you on again. Especially since you've been putting out some really good stuff lately.
Any new artwork in the past few weeks?
Helllll yeah.
As for art, I've knocked out a few little things when I've found the time. I have this pretty big commission I'm working on at the moment which has been kinda sucking my free "art time" up, and I still haven't made a whole lot of progress. Just hard to stay focused because of like, taking care of my kid, not sleeping much, etc. And I get mad anxiety when I near a commission deadline. But this job is gonna be a pretty big payday, so it'll be worth it.
Once that's done, I will feel less stress and probably have better inspiration and shit for personal stuff.
What show and where can I watch?
The InTheMix (DIY Or Die) podcast. Wayne's thing. If you to Mixlr.com and search for "inthemix podcast", it's there. Thursday nights at 9:30 Eastern time. Or you can listen to the older broadcasts on diyordievaping.com
Regardless of how pretty a new website may be....I think the last thing anyone needs is ANOTHER website for recipes to be spread out on. There's quite a few already. I get the intent, but ehhhhhh.
Recipe looks great, thanks for sharing!
This service is marketed more towards the high-skill mixers. Not to mention the scale integration in the near future.
One thing I'd like to see but won't submit as a feature request yet to /u/queuetue is the ability to weigh new bottles of concentrates and enter that into my stash. Then I can weigh bottles again and it'll tell me how much I have left based on the original assumed amount.
I have that in my own personal mixing "app" and use it all the time. Zero my scale, weigh the concentrate, and it'll show me "-1.6g used of a total of 15mL"
Damn, I gave my CCI to somebody, plus missing 2 others. Gonna be a little while before I reorder too. I would love to try this though, seeing as you worked so long on it. Sell me some?
I am now starting to use ATF and it's awesome. I can't WAIT until he has a "what can I mix" algorithm/match function in there.
Funny you should mention that... https://alltheflavors.com/my/recipes/suggest
So.... As a European I have no idea what the difference is between fruity pebbles and fruity loops. I was going to try enyawreklaws but now I can't decide between the two of yours haha. Both are probably tasty and both look delicious ingredient wise. Fml
Congratulations. I bet you feel special.
But for real, sweet looking recipe. I'm excited to mix this up.
I do feel special. Always. My mom says I'm the most special boy she knows.
I tried a similar recipe with no "cereal starters" as an experiment and it turned out terrible. But I used what i had, some lime flavors and TFA Orange Manderin, and FW Tangerine. Nasty.
I'm excited for this and I'm going to place an order specifically for this.
Nice! Hope I don't let you down. It took a while to get right. It's definitely in-your-face, but any attempts to tone it down a little just ended in disappointment. Still not too overwhelming for an ADV, though. Definitely let me know what you think when you get the stuff in to make it!
I'm sure I will enjoy, I just can't do Fruit Rings and Circles anymore. I suffer from the "pledge" taste and it also tastes like cardboard in a way.
I feel this almost from scratch approach will turn out better for me, I just lacked any usable flavors at the time I tried to make one.
Just an update. I had to unfortunately sub lemon lime because i couldnt find it in stock. FA Lemon Sicily and a few drops of Lime Tahity had to work, and for what it's worth, I am in love with this recipe. Once I can get my hands on Lemon Lime I'll be making a ton more. This is so much better than anything with Fruit Rings or Fruit Circles, and that's with a shake and vape.
Also that Black Cherry note is key, I was a bit weirded out but it works.
Gonna let it sit for a few days before I touch it again.
Damn it. Why you keep posting all these awesome recipes that I'm 1 or 2 flavors short for?
Put that drumming talent to use and buy every flavor.

Dont suppose he has a IOS app in the works?
Ah, that's a tough question. And I get asked it a lot.
I could, it's well within my abilities, and I've even done some work on it. But Apple has a history of pulling vape apps from the app store randomly. That means making a return on the 200-300 hours it'll take to build, test, support and beta it is a sketchy proposal.
If people really want it, like want it enough to preorder at a higher cost, I'd consider it.
My current plans are to improve the iOs experience for the web version as much as possible. My mind can be changed, though.
~~How is FA Black Cherry?~~ It's the only one I'm missing.
I just got my FLV Bing Cherry and MF White cherry. If the Bing taste anything like it smells, I'll be going through it very quickly.
Looks good. Awesome notes!
Edit: dumb question(answer is in the notes)
I was happy to hear you're co hosting now. Congrats. Can't wait to try this.
I also can't say enough about all the flavors. It's hands down better than e juice me up and elr calculators. Que has always been prompt and helpful when I have issues, which is like once and it was my fault.
you're missing a hint of grape, other than that looks good. try throwing in 0.25%-0.50% inw grapes.
I'll definitely try that soon. Thanks for the suggestion, buuuuuuddy.
Thanks for your efforts on this. It won't be anytime soon, but I will eventually mix this up (probably next month). I've been chasing Pebbles as well for a while. The closest I've found so far is:
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/283204/Mouse+Milk+%2528Fruity+Pebbles+W%252F+Milk%2529
But it uses the Fruit Circles with Milk, which you have avoided in your recipe. I like the unique approach. In my own trials, I've found that INW Cactus has a slight fruity flakiness to it reminiscent of Fruity Pebbles. Might be worth trying 0.5% INW Cactus in this mix as a test to see if it add anything.
Your link is private.
Almost. I think maybe that's the one I Adapted from, but it has since been updated. This is what I am referring to:
[Mouse Milk (Fruity Pebbles W/ Milk) ]
Ingredient|% :---|---: Bavarian Cream (TPA)|3 Captain Cereal (TPA)|5 Fruit Circles with Milk (TPA)|8 Greek Yogurt (CAP)|3
Flavor total: 19%
Ah man dont have cap lemon lime! its been over 2 weeks and Capella hasn't shipped my order! cant wait to mix this....till i get the lemon lime would you suggest any sub???
Can't believe I actually have everything!
Just mixed some up today, and vowing not to touch it for at least a week so that those creams can really come up.
Thanks so much for this recipe, and for the notes, which include so many helpful tips to be utilized in other recipes! <3
Try it now!

I keep an empty tank built, wicked & ready for just such an occasion.
GodDAMN, this is amazing. Normally it takes a bit to break in the cotton, but all that flavor just bullied it right into submission. Fuck.
You're 100% right about CAP Lemon Lime; it totally belongs there. (If only I had gotten over my INW Lemon and Lime boner sooner, I'd know this) Also, I never even considered FA Black Cherry in any of the attempts I've made, which have been many.
In fact, I just mixed up what smelled like a winning attempt on the 18th, that I haven't even tasted yet, but there's no way it's going to be this good, so...
...I love you and I hate you? :-)
Hot damn. Mixed this up today and it is damn amazing. Amazing work. Everything blends together perfectly. Just the right amount of cream.. and the CAP Lemon Lime is perfect! Congrats on finishing it man. I'll be making a hell of a lot of this.
Thank you for the kind words <3
So glad you like it!
Man not to suck your dick or anything but you really killed it here.. the LA Cream Cheese Icing was a perfect choice. And CAP Lemon Lime just screams "FRUITY PEBBLES!" to me. But then the other fruits.. I wouldn't ever have guessed to try them out.
How long did you spend working on this?
I don't mind a little mouth action. Thanks for the kind words <3
All in all, it's been about a 6 or 7 month journey. During that time, I would just mess around with something for a couple days maybe every two or three weeks and not get the results I wanted. I gave up on it for about a month or so, then I guess my stupid creative block finally let up. I scrapped everything I had and started with CAP Lemon Lime and FA Meringue, then built the recipe around those. I guess I spent maybe a full week of making nothing but this, trying to get it down where I wanted it. I try to keep most of my stuff as shake and vape friendly as possible, so if it didn't taste good after mixing, I just tossed it. I can't even make this now because I burned through most of my 30mL concentrates trying to get it down. I made a 120mL right after I posted this, and it wiped me out haha
Hey! Just wanted to say thanks for the recipe! Made it the other day, absolutely blows my mind,. Definitely the most full, smooth, yet complex recipe i've made so far! I dont really get a "Fruity pebbles" with it, but its still amazing.
Do you think if I take the cream base out, it will be more of a fruity pebbles out of milk kind of flavor? Im going to make it in a couple days, just wondering your input!
I finally got some CAP Lemon Lime so I could try this and DAMN I'm glad I did. I can't wait to see what it's like in a few days, if it lasts that long. I've tried dozens of online cereal recipes (and 50 or more of my own) and this is hands down my favorite. Real talk.
I agree that you nailed the balance on the FA Black Cherry. When I use it it's usually either non-existent or king kong-ing the whole fucking mix. I knew it could be good, I've just never got it to balance quite right.
Thanks a lot for sharing this. xoxoxo
Hey man, I just ordered all the flavorings to make your recipe and noticed a few percentages that might be difficult for me to measure out. I make juices in 100 mL batches to make the math easier and so I don't have to make it as often and none of my syringes or graduated cylinders measure in .05 increments meaning i'd have to try and eye ball the black cherry and vienna cream, and i was wanting to know if measuring it to the tenth would have a big effect on the flavor, and also which one to take .05 away and which one to add to keep the percentages even, for example making the black cherry .8% and the viena cream 1.2%
can anyone tell me their opinion on how this clone compares to the real deal, or if you havent had pebbles, how do you feel about this juice? perhaps u/NotCharlesManson could chime in on the accuracy and overall pleasantness of this juice? BTW keep up the amazing work, all of you =)
This isn't a clone or anything. Just my representation of what I think a Fruity Pebbles juice should taste like.
And it's perfect!
I just mixed it up after ordering every flavor and it is delicious and unique! Glas makes a good Fruity Pebbles, but I'm convinced yours is better.
Thank you!
