Hello Reddit. My name is Vurve, and I have a problem. I love ice cream vapes. Dreamsicle, banana smoothie, Neapolitan. I vape them all.
After looking into the "Almond" flavor thread from a couple weeks ago, I went to work and did what I do best. I churned out some ice cream. Quite surprised with what I threw together in 20 minutes, it quickly became a staple in my personal ADV line. Ultimately, I only made a minor adjustment from when I posted it there.
My muse and inspiration

Chocolate Almond Ice Cream|% ---|--- Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TFA |3 Double chocolate clear TFA|3 Almond FA|2 Vienna cream FA|1 Torrone FA|0.25 Meringue FA|0.25
Chocolate on the inhale, smooth ice-cream blend in the middle, dry almond crisp on the exhale.
So for chocolate, we are going to Double Chocolate Clear TFA. There are chocolate flavors I would consider "better" on the whole, but there is just something about this Double Chocolate Clear I love in ice cream. VBIC and DCC go together like 'lamb and tuna fish'. We are using VBIC because it creates that nice creamy base of an ice cream that this juice needs. It will fill out the mouth feel and vanilla. Vienna Cream adds that little bit of extra creaminess without making the flavor too heavy. VBIC and Vienna have been my go to combo for vanilla ice cream for these exact reasons. The only change, but a vital one, is the addition of meringue. At this tiny amount, we aren't using it much for its cream profile. It if simply the perfect sweetener for ice cream, and it won't gunk your coil! It adds a nice sweet cream/powdered sugar to round it off.
The almond. FA Almond to be exact. For the love of god, just buy it if you don't have it. No, to my knowledge, this cannot be subbed. At 2%, we get the perfect amount of almond similar to the ice cream we are replicating. It's not overbearing, but you can definitely tell there is almond in it. It adds a nice dry snap to finish the vape off. Then we add a little bit of FA Torrone for some nougat and complexity. When you use it right, it turns a simple recipe into a magical, complex masterpiece.
Steep Time: 3-7 days for ultimate deliciousness.
People keep telling me I should add this, so here you go:

Fuck, I have all of these! Making it now hombre. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome. Hope you like it. Out of curiosity, have you ever had almond ice cream before, like the one I linked?
Just finished mixing it up. Smells great and a little finger test has me wanting to jump right in. I see you have 3-7 day steep, but how's it taste S&V?
Man I'd go for a lamb and tuna fish vape.
Nice write-up! I wonder how many people will bring up that they taste pepper in VBIC?
Probably the same number of people who will ask if they can sub FA Almond
By the way, can i sub FA Almond for this? It seems reasonably priced.
are you trying to tell me that there's isn't unanimous interest in my experience with tfa vbic that caused me to go buy cap vbic and be perfectly content with my life?
Portlandia took a shot at vaping 2 weeks ago when a guy at a vape shop asked another, "Have you tried the rye bread?". I've wanted to try to mix that since I saw it.
Ive already ordered new flavors. Ive already told myself i have enough for now.
I'll have somewhere around 85 soon.
Mostly the popular ones that are in the recipes around here everyone loves.
Now i see this. And im MISSING TWO. .
Edit: wait i just woke up and read it incorrectly. I might actually have all this once my last shipment comes in. Carry on.
Yes! Good! Let the flavors flow through you.
85 is not enough. But neither is 200. Or 400.
I made a nice little shelf that currently is holding about 150 flavors. The other 150 are hidden away in boxes, so the wife doesn't realize how much I have spent. Lol!
Wow! Sounds delicious! You have really made a splash in this community, lately. Once again, nice write up.
What's the steep time on this?
