Quick dispensing into 30ml bottles question

Hey guys, i wonder if http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/172053904618 this or similar mechanism will handle VG for dispensing quickly(and more or less accurately) into glass bottles?

Doubt it. VG is extremely viscous, and probably won't get pushed through that with gravity alone.

I use that for VG and PG. I found with the VG I had to cut off 2 inches to be able to increase the flow though. When you store if you have to store them laying down with the spout upright to stop spillages. This is because the spout naturally points down on that model and some trapped G will get pulled out.

This really isn't necessary. Just buy a squeeze bottle for the VG.

Thanks for this!! I feel stupid as I was annoyed with drawing it up into a big syringe and bought a little funnel yesterday to try. Bottle sounds much easier haha

I find measuring by weight for the fiddly bits, (flavour, PG, nicotine) and then topping it off with VG works well enough. If the fiddly bits are done well, and you know your bottles, topping up with VG ain't a hassle.

I second the scale and mixing by weight, but if you are concerned about eyeballing the VG level then you can take one of your 30ml bottles and fill it (using the syringe) with exactly 30 mL of water. Whenever you go to fill VG, then you just need to put the water bottle next to it and align the levels.

Takes 10 seconds. Accurate to +/- 0.5g if I'm going quick. +/- 0.2g if I'm going slow.

I have one that weighs down to p2 0.01 grams. I'm anal when i go over by like 0.03 when im getting my vg in there.

I use these for pretty much everything flavors, nicotine, pg, and vg.

Each drop from the vg usually weighs like 0.04 and each drop with stuff like flavors and nic is usually like 0.02.

I don't have to squeeze them hardly at all just like small small bumps and i get it about perfect every single time.

They do make a machine, it's called an auto pipette, however it is not by any means "cheap"

Quick look through the comments and someone said about $499, but that might be AUD.

It also looks like its better for a mash than it is for actual liquid.

I've seen them for as low as 250 USD from China.

The seem to handle liquids as well from the videos I've looked up on this type of filler.

This is a great (and pretty cheap) device. Was thinking about buying one too. I once saw a video of it being used to fill E-Liquid bottles, it definately works.

What I do when I'm making multiple bottles of a single juice is to put a few bottles on the scale at one time so that I can do the bottles in parallel. Add ingredient A to the first bottle, zero scale, then bottle 2, then zero scale,... then ingredient 2.....etc. Also, if you have the flavor base pre-made then you can just put a bottle on, give it flavor, nic and base, and then go to the next bottle. Just ideas. Good luck with the business!

You can purchase 1 gallon jugs that will go with it from U-line as well.

If you are using the same 30ml glass bottles for all of your liquids, just keep a "control" bottle, filled with exactly 30ml of e-liquid, then just use that to compare your quick-fill 30ml's to. Just get the liquid in the other bottles to the same level and you're good.

Or am I missing something here? Are you talking about filling 30mls of already-made juice, or do you want to accurately measure VG for mixing?

As I have a scale I can always get an accurate measurement of what I'm making. I use those bottles from [here] (https://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin42.html) to dispense my VG/PG and it works great. I purchased 48 of the 4oz bottles with the twist tops and put all my flavors, PG, VG and nicotine in those. When I need to use them I just twist the top and pour it right into the bottle on my scale. I'm never off by more than +/_ .02 on any of my mixes.

Just so you know I purchased 1oz twist top bottles for my nicotine dispenser and keep the rest in the freezer. The 1oz bottle I keep in a desk drawer where it is dark and cool. So far I've had no problems.

With those same bottles in 4oz from sks. i still need to get a few of the smaller ones for nicotine though. I've used the 4oz just fine but i would rather have something smaller, and keep the bulk in the freezer. You wouldn't have a couple spares i could buy off of you would you? If i recall the shipping through sks was quite expensive.

Great minds think alike. I have the same scale. Unfortunately, I have used all my bottles. I think I got the idea from you. Didn't you post a picture of these earlier? While my shelf is not as wide as yours I have done the same thing. I need to order more of the 4oz bottles and I will be getting some of the 1oz bottles as well so I will try to let you know when I do. These work so nice that I'm not sure I will ever change to a different kind. I was using 120ml glass bottles until I drooped one on the ceramic tile floor in my house and shattered it all over the place. Fortunately, it was empty.

I need at least 24 and maybe more of the 4oz bottles and I will need about that many 1oz and if I'm not mistaken they sell those 1oz ones in 48 bottle bags with the caps. If I get them I would be happy to share if you are willing to split the cost and pay for the shipping to where you are. I will pay for shipping to my house so it would only be the cost of the bottles and the price of shipping them to you. PM me and we can work out the logistics.

And yeah man I would totally buy some of the 1oz bottles from you if you wanna go half's on the bag. Haven't asked somebody to go half on a bag with me in a long time lol. Just get a 10-30ml syringe and a 14ga blunt tip needle. It'll cost you under 5$ and it's pretty quick.

If i mix a large batch containing something known to kill syringes (tfa ripe banana for example) and use syringes to decant into 30ml bottles would the syringes still break down or would the lower concentration prevent this from happening?

Not all 30ml bottles hold just 30ml.
