Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! If you are impatient and want to do this on your own, here are a couple of good links:
- /u/daath has a nice website that has this functionality, but you will need to register to make it work. It is not very intuitive but if you work with it you can input your flavors and get a list of recipes that you can make. IMO this is the better site if you have the patience to make it work for you. Edit2: to get this to work, first set up an account. Then add your flavors to the stash (under my page / my flavor stash). hit save. Then go back to the front page and click the link next to the search field, "Search by flavor stash". You can select a couple of your flavors and recipes that have those will pop up.
- This site has a nice big search button with just what you're looking for.
Happy Mixing!
I have seen some posts from people listing a recipe they made and asking for advice from the experts if it looks like a good mix of flavor choices and if the percentages looked appropriate .
I don't think there is a dedicated thread just for beginner recipes in which we can ask the experts what they would tweak and if they thought what we came up with would work.
Instead of filling the main board with these requests maybe a subreddit if there is not a dedicated one for this.
Would the experts be interested in participating because i don't know , i have a feeling there would be a mass influx of recipes from a lot of people.
The "suggest a recipe" is a similar idea to it and it might be good enough.
I'll bite. I think i got some basic flavors to start with, besides solo flavors, what would mix well with each other. I did try a strawberry / banana that was good at 4% each but it was missing something.
TPA:
Coconut
Bubblegum
French Vanilla Deluxe
Marshmallow
Orange Cream
LA:
Watermelon (colorless)
Liquid Barn:
Banana
Belgian Waffle
Blue Raspberry
Coconut Milk
Fresh Cream
Green Apple
Honeydew
Pacific Cooler
Strawberry
Vienna Cream
edit: formatting
I like a little mandarin with my strawberry/banana, so I would try maybe 1% of orange cream. Just looking for a hint. Same with Coconut, except for my taste it may be only .5%
Never had Liquid Barn, how do you like the Honeydew?
i haven't tried most of them yet as rocket league is taking my nights away from me. For the smell, it smells like a honeydew (wanted a watermelon but this was they closest they offered)
Just a heads up, liquid barn strawberry is pretty strongly artifical tasting. Use it wisely. It doesnt give a genuine strawberry flavor at all. Used it a few times now and just not happy with it.
And green apple tastes like its made with alcohol or something. If you had gotten root beer, id give that a thumbs up. Big fan of it.
What's the Liquid Barn Pacific Cooler like?
Also you might have the beginnings of a good coconut cream pie there. Play around with vienna cream, coconut milk, coconut and marshmallow a bit, maybe some fresh cream. Once you get the pie-filling flavor down, adding the pie-crust notes should be easy and optional.
Strawberry + green apple is also good.
Its a shame, actually. LB strawberry and green apple are not great flavors. The strawberry is really fake tasting and green apple mixes need to air out and evaporate. Tastes like alcohol and gives a terrible throat hit feeling if you dont.
Well... I am curious if anyone has any ideas since I just started. The toasted marshmallow is delicious by itself and I've found that hazelnut, vanilla bourbon and a little 555 taste pretty good, but I haven't been super stoked with my results yet.
TFA:
RY4 Double
Acetyl Pyrazine 5%
555 Type DK Tobacco
Western
Hazelnut
Vanilla Bourbon
Caramel
RY4 Asian
Toasted Marshmallow
ry4d 8%
ap .75%
was my adv for quite sometime
/r/cloudcollective if after tobacco
maybe try like
- 3-4% RY Double
- 1-2% Hazelnut
Thanks! I'll give it a shot. I just mixed up:
- RY4 D @ 10%
- Hazelnut @ 1.5%
- Vanilla Bourbon @ 1.5%
And it turned out pretty good, but a little harsher than I anticipated. Might need to sit for a couple days though.
Any recipe/flavor suggestions?
So far I have tried this combo. It was a bit sweet, but still very tasty.
- Ripe Strawberry (FA) 4%
- Cream Fresh (FA) 1%
- Dragonfruit 2%
- Cookie (FA) 1%
- Lemon Sicily (FA) .5%
- Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA) 4%
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Link to Stash instead
If it's just a bit too sweet try cutting the VBIC down by 1% and the dragonfruit by 0.5 or 1%. Both of those are really sweet to me, but it's subjective.
I'll give that a try. Thanks!
Ingredient|% :---|---: Coconut (FA)|0.25 Fuji Apple (FA)|2 Meringue (FA)|1

use tfa coconut instead.... check out /r/cloudcollective if interested in tobaccos

Working on a coconut cream pie right now. When I work out the kinks I'll probably post it up for you guys to r8, d8, and masturb8.
- 2-4% watermelon
- 0.2-0.5% coconut * [optional] ?% strawberry (and/or) 1-3% TFA bavarian cream
or you cld do strawberry/bav cream/coconut or
cheesecake graham crust / (Van. Bean. Ice Crm or Bav. Crm.) / strawberry.
you cld also make mustard milk.
