My first perfect recipe!
submitted over 9 years ago by AllKidsChooseGIFMixologist

After vaping almost nothing but this juice for over a month, I feel it's ready for others to try. Be gentle..

I present to you: BANSHEE..

  • LA Banana Cream - 4%
  • TFA Pineapple - 3%
  • TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 3%
  • TFA Marshmallow - 2%

This recipe is deceptively simple. I originally started crafting this as my own clone of 'Nana Cream; but as I made tweaks here and there and replaced flavors again and again, I ended up going an almost entirely different direction with it.

I love LorAnn's Banana Cream, but I didn't want it taking center stage because it gets old fast to me. It's mostly here just for that crisp candy cream on the backend. I've tried it at higher percentages, but it always stands out too much. TFA Pineapple is a fantastic flavor and I always wanted a good pineapple juice that wasn't a piña colada. It is a notoriously strong flavor, and will take over most mixes quite easily, but it's sweet and yummy without being too tart so it works best for me. My last version of this recipe used 4%, but I found that 3% was a lot more mild and not so in-your-face. VBIC is a staple for me; the biggest bottle of flavoring I have is VBIC and it gets used a lot. In my opinion nothing beats it for buttery, creamy vanilla flavor, and at 3% it's perfect for this recipe. TFA Marshmallow does its usual double-duty as a both a sweetener and binding agent at 2%.

After lurking around here for months I knew I had to give something back to this community. Enjoy!

EDIT: Forgot to mention steeping time. While you can shake and vape this, I find that it hits the mark right around 3 days in.

It warms my heart to see LA banana cream used. Probably one of my favorite flavors. I'll try this out when I get home.

If you really enjoy banana, try this out.

I get a strong nilla wafer flavor from TFA banana cream. When I mix the two, I get a perfect banana pudding with nilla wafer.

Mixing the two as in TFA and LA banana cream?

This looks interesting and something I wouldn't mess up too badly. AND I actually have all the flavours! I'll try it this weekend. Thanks for sharing.

Looks pretty good! Might try my own little spin on this. Why the name banshee? :)

I like to use types of ghosts for names. Originally, I had lychee in this recipe, so it kinda made more sense at that point. Then I dropped out the lychee, but the name just stuck.

This looks pretty decent, only have TFA Banana Cream though, have you tried it, if so is there much variation between the two?

I've subbed TFA's version in other recipes before and never had any issues with flavor.

5% TFA Banana Cream: sweet banana, cream is prevalent, realistic although needs supporting banana flavor unless you want a hint of banana in cream

7% TFA Banana Cream: banana more prominent although has a rubbery taste to it, banana overtakes the cream, very smooth

5% LOR Banana Cream: banana pudding/banana Popsicle, runts type note, smooth tasteless cream, thick

Add FA Banana at 0.5% to your 5% TFA Banana Cream for that extra banana support :)

I know I've said this before, but I find LA banana cream to taste like a puréed banana. I don't get any artificial taste from it, but others say it taste like candy, runts in particular.

I find TFA banana to taste like artificial banana pudding.

That said, they taste completely different. Can you substitute them? Sure. However, you will be totally changing the flavor profile of the recipe.

So, pretty much what mikarm said.

LA should be more candy like(runts) and TFA should be a creamier version and not quite like candy. That's how they taste to me but others have said the LA isn't banana runts candy to them, so ymmv. Should definitely swap in just fine though.

I've been planning to make this since you posted it and finally got around to making 15mL last night. It's delicious! Now it's going to take some serious willpower to let the rest steep and try it again after the recommended three days.

I'm glad you like it!

It's not really anything incredible, but you'll find yourself coming back to it again and again.

Have you tried incorporating TFA Jackfruit?

Excited to try this out once I get my restock on TFA Pineapple. Looks good. I'll be mixing it with CAP Marshmallow because I prefer that to the TFA Marshmallow. TFAs version has a weird taste to me. CAPs is sweet and creamy and might work a little better in this recipe.

Once I mix it up, I'll report back and let you know how it works.

Cheers, looks like a great mix.

might give this a whirl subbing the pineapple for dragonberry (as I've got no pineapple in stock)

Unsure If I have TFA pineapple left, will try it out when I mix if I have some.

Mixed this up and to be honest I'm not a huge fan, I did find the pineapple to be a little much and I'm not so fond of loranns banana cream, thanks for sharing the recipe though I had no problem vaping the 15ml test patch I made.
