After vaping almost nothing but this juice for over a month, I feel it's ready for others to try. Be gentle..
I present to you: BANSHEE..
- LA Banana Cream - 4%
- TFA Pineapple - 3%
- TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 3%
- TFA Marshmallow - 2%
This recipe is deceptively simple. I originally started crafting this as my own clone of 'Nana Cream; but as I made tweaks here and there and replaced flavors again and again, I ended up going an almost entirely different direction with it.
I love LorAnn's Banana Cream, but I didn't want it taking center stage because it gets old fast to me. It's mostly here just for that crisp candy cream on the backend. I've tried it at higher percentages, but it always stands out too much. TFA Pineapple is a fantastic flavor and I always wanted a good pineapple juice that wasn't a piña colada. It is a notoriously strong flavor, and will take over most mixes quite easily, but it's sweet and yummy without being too tart so it works best for me. My last version of this recipe used 4%, but I found that 3% was a lot more mild and not so in-your-face. VBIC is a staple for me; the biggest bottle of flavoring I have is VBIC and it gets used a lot. In my opinion nothing beats it for buttery, creamy vanilla flavor, and at 3% it's perfect for this recipe. TFA Marshmallow does its usual double-duty as a both a sweetener and binding agent at 2%.
After lurking around here for months I knew I had to give something back to this community. Enjoy!
EDIT: Forgot to mention steeping time. While you can shake and vape this, I find that it hits the mark right around 3 days in.
It warms my heart to see LA banana cream used. Probably one of my favorite flavors. I'll try this out when I get home.
If you really enjoy banana, try this out.
Looks pretty good! Might try my own little spin on this. Why the name banshee? :)
This looks pretty decent, only have TFA Banana Cream though, have you tried it, if so is there much variation between the two?
I've subbed TFA's version in other recipes before and never had any issues with flavor.
5% TFA Banana Cream: sweet banana, cream is prevalent, realistic although needs supporting banana flavor unless you want a hint of banana in cream
7% TFA Banana Cream: banana more prominent although has a rubbery taste to it, banana overtakes the cream, very smooth
5% LOR Banana Cream: banana pudding/banana Popsicle, runts type note, smooth tasteless cream, thick
I know I've said this before, but I find LA banana cream to taste like a puréed banana. I don't get any artificial taste from it, but others say it taste like candy, runts in particular.
I find TFA banana to taste like artificial banana pudding.
That said, they taste completely different. Can you substitute them? Sure. However, you will be totally changing the flavor profile of the recipe.
So, pretty much what mikarm said.
I've been planning to make this since you posted it and finally got around to making 15mL last night. It's delicious! Now it's going to take some serious willpower to let the rest steep and try it again after the recommended three days.
Excited to try this out once I get my restock on TFA Pineapple. Looks good. I'll be mixing it with CAP Marshmallow because I prefer that to the TFA Marshmallow. TFAs version has a weird taste to me. CAPs is sweet and creamy and might work a little better in this recipe.
Once I mix it up, I'll report back and let you know how it works.
Cheers, looks like a great mix.
Can you advise what brand LA Banana Cream is? Thanks
I think I will buy these flavours and mix some up!
OP kind of says > I love LorAnn's Banana Cream

BCV carries it as well, as does WL. Gremlin carries it but is currently out of stock on 4oz. Anybody else?
I got mine from Wizard Labs.
