Just whipped up a couple single flavor juices. Made 2 10ml bottles of just a green apple and a peach. I guess you're right, I've seen posts and others say how easy this really is. Took me about 30 min. I also did a tobacco vanilla blend. Wasn't that impressed with that one. But that's what you do to figure out what you like and don't like.
Sorry for the shitpost if this is considered one.
But thanks to all who have helped and that side bar is awesome!
Let the tobacco one sit for awhile. Tobaccos need to steep. But yes, it's easy and fun!
I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!
Isn't it a great feeling? I recently took the plunge this weekend as well and I'm already blown away with what my friend and I came up with. I made a pineapple cheesecake with raspberry drizzle that is already ADV status after a 24hr steep.
Whats your recipe??
(All TFA)
Cheesecake w/ Graham Crust 4.5%
Pineapple 3.5%
Raspberry 1%
Everything /u/TheCatHimself and I have whipped up so far is here. :D
I've been experimenting with cheesecakes. I'll have to try it with some pineapple. I've been adding just a touch of coconut extra, like .5 - 1% and it seems to add a little flair to the cheesecake graham crust.
Ooooh we will have to try that! Will add it to the To Buy list.
I do have a friend I'm mixing for who is allergic to coconut so I will have to remember to leave it out if I make cheesecakes for her though.
(edit: it was already on the list of stuff to get, sweet!)
I've only tried coconut extra so I'm not sure if a different coconut would be better. But you really only need a hint of it. It went well with the raspberry cheesecake too. I still need to adjust percentages. Let me know how it goes for you and what you found works.
It is a great feeling! Knowing I'm going to save money alone is satisfying. Being that I'll have more control over what I'm vaping is even more satisfying!
Yeah, we bought a DIY kit from a local B&M for $70 (included 120mls of PG/VG, 50mls of nic, 5 flavors of your choice plus syringes and gloves). Probably a bit more than internet pricing but it was nice to have everything right there. The first night alone we made roughly $80 worth of juice going by slightly-above-budget-vendor pricing. I'm really hyped for the savings.
I got mine from the OP above. Was $80. Can't remember exactly what came with it. Got 10 flavors and some lab supplies. I'm going to get into some of the clones on here as well once I get more used to it. But the two we made came out better than I thought they would. Definitely satisfied.
Congratulations man! I'm in the same place you are, I went for it yesterday and got great results too. First batch was Vanilla bean and banana Cream, second was double chocolate and orange. Both came out great! Maybe because I made them myself and my pride tastes good! But it's definitely something relaxing to do at weekends. Not sure on the steeping time on both but I guess I'll find out soon enough!
Thanks! Same to you! It's definitely becoming more of a hobby the more I research. And definitely fun! I'll admit I'm a little addicted. Lol
Same here! Some of the ingredients worry me but.. I think its safer than what the big companies sell at least! And it's so relaxing! As a college student working 2 IT jobs, grinding my own coffee beans and making coils are two of my best pleasures. Add eliquid to the mix now and it's a nice list! Have you checked e-liquid-recipes? That site gave me a lot of good ideas, depending on the ingredients I have!
> double chocolate and orange
I need this in my life.
If everything goes well, I'll have a nice batch soon! As of today (24h of steeping) it literally tastes like those nice orange flavored chocolates that pop up every Christmas.
