Looking for a good Fortune Cookie Recipe. I have searched the internet and have not found anything that is specific. I had in mind either or both FA/FW Cookie or Sugar Cookie, Almond, some kind of vanilla. Sweetness may be from meringue, marshmallow or EM, but I hear EM gunk's up coils and wicks. Any suggestions????
I'd say start with these threads:

EM is a heavier base note component -- ALL base note components CAN gunk coils but it isn't guaranteed. It depends on how much you use and how many other base notes there are.
Outstanding, A good place to start!!! Thank you.
Some fortune cookie recipes also call for a small amount of lemon or orange in the mix. Just enough to add a bit of crisp brightness, if that makes any sense. Great idea for a flavor, I'm intrigued.
I'd say you'd be pretty much on the right track with FA cookie and meringue. You'd probably want to dial up the flavour on meringue higher than normal.
Just as a note, I'm wondering if a really light brown sugar would give the kind of sweetness that a fortune cookie brings
I think at this point it is just a matter of how Strawberry flavors don't taste like real strawberries, banana flavors don't taste like banana, and ect...
You are dealing with artificial flavors.
You might hear people say "this tastes just like a _______" . If they were to actually eat ________, they would see a huge difference.
The exception to this is food that uses artificial flavor as a main flavor note.
Hence the reason Candy is easier to nail.
