I won the Flavourart North America new flavor contest

As the title suggests, I received email notification today that I won. I'm super excited.

I wanted to post to let everyone know what to expect in the near future.

I think this is going to be a great addition to the lineup and very useful to many bakery recipes.

I have never won any contest in my life, so this is kind of exciting. Most likely, my luck for the next 5 years has been used up. Also, I apologize in advance if this gets anyone's panties in a bunch.

Congrats! What did you win?

I'm a little nervous because real zeppole is filled with brined fish. FlavourArt Anchovy might be a bit difficult.

If I remember correctly from the contest, one of the prizes is 1.5l of the flavor once it's developed.

Saw them post it on Facebook.

So we're getting a Joy V2, except hopefully slightly better. Because, zeppola is pretty much that.

I </3 you & the other guy that voted for it, & FA, of course.

I reallyreally wanted a sweet fried plantain or canollo concentrate. Those would be so much better.

Zeppola is the flavor. It's an Italian donut made from choux dough and usually topped or filled with custard, fruit, or even savory flavors like anchovy. Also very similar to the popular New Orleans/ French pastry called a beignet.

It not a recipe. Flavourart is going to develop the flavor concentrate based on my suggestion. Although when I come up with a recipe using it, I most certainly will.
