Thanks dada! (Peach - mango lemonade)
submitted over 9 years ago by cswindz

So after lurking in this sub for about a month, I finally got all of my mixing supplies a couple days ago. Without all the extremely valuable information on this thread I never would have gathered the courage to dive into diy. So thank you every one who is a true asset to this sub (you know who you are). I feel like every one of you is the father that I never had. Anyways, I've mixed up over a dozen recipes so far and I'll leave you all with my favorite shake n' vape.

   Peach Mango Lemonade (80/20)
  • 1.5% white peach fa
  • .5% peach flv
  • 2% mango hs
  • 3% strawberry (ripe) tfa
  • 6% lemonade hs
  • .5% marshmellow fa
  • 5% meringue fa Notes: pretty tasty shake and vape. I taste a delicous peach lemonade with almost a mango sorbet at the end of the exhale. Just mixed it so I need to test more before I tweak it any further.

Tl;dr : thanks everyone

Mango HS is such a strange flavor, it's extremely potent, and to me even a drop or 2 in a 30ml is noticeable.

I've never seen anyone else use it before either. And personally I don't get much of a mango from it, it's more like a peach syrup sort of, but more mango-y I guess. It's almost creamy.

To me it smells like mango italian ice... I've been enjoying it so far but will most likely tone down the %. Do you recommend a different mango?

Honestly I think it's the best tasting "mango" flavor i have, but I feel TFA Mango tastes a bit more natural, even with its cat piss smell. CAP sweet mango has an even worse smell, it's like fresh hot plastic with cat piss, but I haven't used it enough to really differentiate it from TFA, they're similar but I believe the CAP is a bit sweeter.

I think 1% is good enough, but it's your mix you may want it to dominate a bit.

It's a good flavor. Most other mangos tend to taste more like mango nectar rather than the actual fruit. HS encapsulates some of that piney taste you get from the skin of a freshly peeled mango. It's a good flavor, but it needs help and is def not a standalone.

I wonder how well Philippine Mango (tfa) will do as a swap in this recipe

I feel 5% meringue may be a tad excessive? Been meaning to pickup some hs flavourings for a while now, looks like I have a reason to now.

for the sake of all the old asses like myself its probably a good idea to put the zero.point in (0.5)

I read it as 5% as well -- stick a 0.5% in the future, or edit it!
