A sweet; but not overpoweringly so, mix of coconut vanilla and tobacco, I was inspired by something a friend of mine smokes and was intrigued by the smell in the pouch ( yes I had a cigarette, but this was for science). The tobacco flavor although present is not over powering, i consider this a tobacco type liquid for those who do not like tobacco flavors. On the other hand if you want something slighty stronger i suggest reducing the ry4 by 1% and adding 0.5% of FA - Shade or FLV -Flue cured, the shade being my preference.

RY4 Double

This is the bulk of the recipe giving it's well known sweetness which is enhanced by the Vanilla custard, yet also providing that tobacco undertone that runs throughout whilst also lending to a slight nuttiness.

Coconut

This already sweet concentrate works perfectly with the caramel aspect of the ry4, it is a pronounced flavor in the mix without fading into the background, the AP and Graham cracker provide crunch making this more of a toasted coconut taste whilst retaining it's sweet milkiness.

Vanilla Bourbon

you really cant substitute this for any other concentrate, the natural slightly alcohol taste this provides helps to take away from the sweetness slightly to prevent the mix from becoming too sickly, this blends perfectly with the coconut and ry4 bringing out the tobacco flavor whilst adding depth and complexity to the mix.

Graham cracker clear

Combined with the AP this is the key to getting the toasted coconut feeling and helping the tobacco come through preventing this from becoming a straight vanilla coconut mix, it lends a very subtle spiciness helping with the complexity.

Vanilla custard

I mainly put this in to add a slight creaminess with out using Bavarian cream and losing some of the vanilla, it helps bring the whole mix together without overpowering anything, whist also bringing a good mouth-feel.

Acetyl pyrazine

This is the concentrate responsible for all the magic, it wakes up the tobacco ensuring it will not be overpowered, helps lend a toastiness to the coconut and works in conjunction with the graham cracker to give crunchy notes to the mix.

OP, this is an outright amazing post. Very well laid out and detailed. The link right to ELR is awesome, made adding it to my list painless. And the explanation of the flavors was a good read. Just thank you so much for the amount of effort that went into this post. Really.

The recipe sounds really good too I can't wait to mix it. Personally I prefer tobacco juices but it's hard to get a good one. Personally I've been leaning towards TPA Western Blend for most of my tobaccos and have found it to be my favorite.

Absolutely! Very well thought out and well written! I'm going to have to make a batch of this, just because of the effort you put into it. I mean, I don't think the fact that I like sunblock has anything to do with it, but just maybe... Friggin' Irish - we burn so easily! And I did smoke for 34 years, so I do like a good tobacco flavor.

Care to share one of your recipes with Western? One I've used has it at 10%, (along with 5% custard and 5% marshmallow) which seems awfully high for a tobacco flavor, and is a real coil gunker.

Actually that's the way I Vape it :)

30/70 6mg and 10% western. Just like that straight up. That's my ADV. I agree about the coil gunker though.

Another one I rotate between is an apple pie mix. Again 30/70 pg vg

TPA Apple Pie 4% TPA Marshmallow 5% TPA Western Blend 10%

It's okay but I know it's missing something.

Most tobaccos need a good steep. So how long do you reckon?

Depends if you make the addition or not. As it stands its not a bad shake n vape after a week or so everything begins to mellow and the tobacco becomes more pronounced.
With the addition im going with 2 weeks minimum.

I've been on a tobacco kick for a very long time. I've recently jumped into cigar extracts to achieve similar results.

I'm not much of a coconut fan because the taste is usually very reminiscent to the smell of sunblock. How pronounced is the coconut in this mix?

I will mix this despite my displeasure for coconut. Glad to see someone who shares my affinity for tobacco type Vapes.

Been meaning to get into extractions for a while,

It isn't subtle but you cant really smell it, i do know what you mean by sunblock, the main smell you get is ry4 and the vanilla bourbon.

Coconut to me always reminded me of sunblock for some reason. It's just one of those things. Bar win mind I can no longer vape strawberry. I've burned myself out on it and after some time it's always very chemically even at low %.

Taste is certainly subjective :D

I put this together on Vapor Crafter cause I don't have any individual flavors (I'm a noob) . Can't wait to see how it comes out.

After a maybe 4 days of steeping it vapes pretty nice. Maybe not as much coconut as I like but still pretty good.
