The reason you are getting your gear a bit quicker when ordering from NYC is because it is an international mail hub - meaning much of the mail from the eastern seaboard of the US is routed through NYC. There are 5 international hubs for USPS: Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco. New York is an incredibly high-volume facility - so they are pretty efficient.

Depending on where the vendor is, the package could be transferred up to 4 times before it hits the international hub (local post office > regional post office/general sorting facility > hub > your package takes it's seat in business class to fly to you.

Hopefully you can find a vendor in NYC that meets your needs - as far as I know the best DIY shops (price, selection, speed of order fulfillment) are well outside of NY Metro area.

I would recommend Bull City Vapors - they are located on the east coast in Raleigh-Durham, NC. Raleigh-Durham has a major sorting facility so packages go directly from R-D to NYC. I am far away from NC, but I get my packages from them on the second business day from ordering (that is really, really fast especially considering changes to the USPS' delivery schedule and terms).

TLDR: it's not about finding a vendor in NYC, it's about finding the vendor who gets their packages to the NYC hub the quickest.

Thanks, yeah LA and Chicago have been good shipping times also. I don't believe BCV ship to New Zealand but they mentioned a few months ago they may in the future, will check again tonight.

Anybody have experience with GremlinDiy international shipping?

I talked to Jeff yesterday, BCV still isnt shipping overseas. He did mention that someone could use a "forwarding service". Idk what that is lol

Send me your mail plus ten dollars and I'll send it overseas to you.

That's a forwarding service.

Its a service that gives you an address within the country you want to purchase from to enter as the shipping address, it gets sent there, they then forward it on to you. Used to save on shipping costs or to purchase from sites that don't ship to your location.

The Forwarding Service available to me do not ship Nicotine products and are a bit funny about anything associated with e-cigarettes.

I was thinking you were in Western Europe! I wish you were so I could have been of some use beyond suggesting a supplied that apparently doesn't ship international...

Good Luck Larry!

I don't know of any, but I'd be very interested in finding out. I did a quick Google search, but didn't pull anything up. Hopefully someone knows something I don't.
