I made the fortunate mistake of ordering a premix wrong. Thought I was getting 65/35 VG/PG but it was just the opposite. Tasted great but was very hard on my tonsils. No worries though, I'd been reading the sidebar HARD and wanted to eventually get into DIY so I used this opportunity to buy some nic, PG, VG, scale, and some bottles. Luckly the vendor I bought the premix from also sold the concentrated flavor. I titrated out my nic last night to be sure it was legit and spent this afternoon correcting my mistake by doctoring up my premix to 50/50/3mg and 6mg using the E-Juice Lab Android app. My next order will be more nic since I just got a 30ml bottle off ecx and some flavors so I can start this in earnest. I suggest this method as a low risk entry to DIY. You already know how it's supposed to taste so no surprises there. Today was all about learning how to use my equipment and how to be safe with my nic. Thanks r/rdiy_ejuice!

... Is this a dream?
My mind is blown. I am speechless.
Thanks abdada! Am I missing the joke. Doesn't everyone test their nic at least once per new bottle? I can't imagine how unpleasant it would be to find out your nic levels are 1.5 times what they should be after you've started vaping on it. When I ran mine it came out to 102.24mg/ml and the test kit said that it carries a +/- 2-4mg margin of error so I figured it was pretty much perfect. Props to ECX.
