The newly released recipe from bombies/predator. ---> https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/48bgwd/deputy_a_raspberry_donut_recipe/

If so, how was it? Tempted to order all the flavorings and mix it up myself but i'm just curious what you guys thought of it thus far. I only read 1 comment under that thread about mixing it and he seemed to like it

Mixed 2 x 30ml batches thus far. Very solid donut recipe. I switched up the CAP Raspberry V2 on the second bottle with the following:

  • TFA Sweet Raspberry 2%
  • INW Raspberry 1%

I actually liked the second version much better.

I made it, it's good, it could be a bit sweeter so next batch I'm going to add a bit of TFA Brown Sugar. I also did not use lemon sicily(I dont not have it), i used TFA Lemon cookie @ .15% and TFA Lemon @ .15%. Lastly I do not have CAP Raspberry V2 so I used TFA Raspberry sweet at the same percentage.

It's good and I would recommend making it.

Edit added 1% TFA brown sugar to current few day old bottle and it made it just sweet enough.

Agree with the sweetness so I'll have to try this. It's not bad as is but is pretty tame when comparing it to an actual donut's sweetness.

I do like sweet e liquids.. Think im still going to order the original ingredients only add in the additional brown sugar and add it at 1%. Is there any other sweetner you would recommend instead of brown sugar?

You can add any sweetener you like. I like how brown sugar adds sweetness with out dry mouth and it doesn't kill off other notes like other sweeteners can.

What about adding FA meringue instead? Any noticeable difference?

mixed at 50/50 at this ratio the raspberry needs to be backed off a bit as it seem to come thro over the chocolate donut or it just might be the raspberry used will try strawberry as i have a variety of those to test out rather than the 1 raspberry i just got :P

it is good tho either way

That could be because of your ratio. Max vg will probably be smoother but a little more muted than 50 50

I thought it was pretty good although much more chocolate donut flavored than I expected. I don't know why I expected that considering there's 4% Chocolate Glazed Doughnut but I was hoping, heh.

I'm going to try a few variations without the CGD and see if I can't sweeten it up a bit, perhaps with some FA Meringue. Still on the lookout for a decent I <3 Donuts recipe.

The strawberry donuts ejuice is just basically cap glazed donut in a low percentage, sweet strawberry, and cap sweet cream. I know mad hatter uses loranns blueberry for i love donuts.

Is this confirmed or you just have a strong feeling about this? I'd like to make the strawberry donut e liquid to be honest

Wayne has a decent clone up thats probably better than dohnuts. I think voipninja posted it on ELR. Im almost positive though its those in a pretty high flavor percentage with cap super sweet. Think 8-10% sweet strawberry, 3-5% sweet cream, 2-4 glazed donut, maybe a little marshmallow peppered in there and sweetener. Im working on both this and poptarts after we just posted strawberry cereal last night. Positive we will get both of them down pat once we nail the last couple concentrates.

Edit: on elr he subbed tfa frosted donut which could work too but thats a pretty weak flavor. Try both in a combo or one at a time. Im almost positive its all cap flavors though. If not sweet cream, try for v2 creams or the new creams because its got that butyric taste to it. Definitely a sweet cream though. That should narrow it down for you pretty good.
