I have a Febreze plug-in at home and it smells good but is expensive as hell. What base do they use for their oils in the plug in? Can I buy it in bulk and add my own "scents/flavors" to it to make my house smell awesome?
Also, I was thinking of maybe buying some unscented candles, putting them onto a candle warmer and when they heat up and liquify adding some special concoction of concentrates to make my own scented candles.
I reread this and it sounds real gay, fuck it though I'm about dem scentz.
Food, coffee, beer, bourbon, candles, soap, candy, whipped cream, tea, scentsies, diffusers, baths, garbage disposals, air freshseners, really anything that a scent or flavor would go into.
Also, there are about 15 other threads besides the one you posted, but this is a difficult question to search. That's why I have all the uses gathered for the time this gets posted every week. Nothing against you OP, like I said, it's a bit harder to search than other questions.
Damn. Comprehensive and all.
I guess you can sell scented candles and soap to pay for more flavor concentrates or something.
Yeah, or candy is a great seller too. Check my edit for why it's comprehensive.(This question gets asked a lot :P)
I feel like, as more and more cities crack down on indoor vaping, thus eliminating tasting bars, the smart thing to do at B&Ms is to offer tiny hard candies of house blends so people can at least get some idea of how it might vape. After all, we're all /r/TotallyLegitCandyMakers, right?
I want to make a scented candle so bad, but, I use soy wax, which is a nightmare in terms of getting a scent to "throw" properly. I used, like, 4 tbsp. of eucalyptus oil in a single quart jar candle and you still could barely smell it.
Don't think I'd be willing to part with that much of my flavorings.
Thanks dude.
Yeah my search terms the first time were "what else"
the second time I typed "flavor concentrates" and backspaced, the third I said fuck it and clicked Submit new content.
Drip it down the garbage disposal/smelly sink.....interesting...
Although it's not super useful for the men here, my girlfriend made a couple of lip scrubs with some of my flavor concentrates that actually turned out amazing. Lol
Ooooh, recipe?
I can't remember off the top of my head, but she had these little containers where we used 1mL of flavoring and then she filled up the rest of the container with coconut oil and a couple tablespoons of sugar. (So I can't give you the exact amounts, lol sorry.) But I do sort of remember that she made one that was 0.8mL of TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with 0.2mL of TFA Coconut Extra, and then coconut oil and sugar to the desired consistency. The other one was made with like 5 drops of INW Cherries and 3-4 drops of INW Limetka, and then used TFA VBIC until we hit 1mL of flavoring, and then again with coconut oil and sugar to desired consistency.
Awesome! This is super helpful, actually. Glad she uses coconut oil in lieu of petroleum jelly. Tons of coconut oil on hand. And I prefer it to the beeswax recipes, which are not only a hassle, but never have the right viscosity for a proper lip scrub. I can wing the flavors. Thanks!
and yes I searched, I'm not looking to add it to sparkling water or soda or ice cream.
