Capella discontinuing flavours

Stumbled across this and thought it would be useful especially for those looking to release recipes using the affected flavours.

Thankfully no VC v1 in there phew! And here I was fiddling with popcorn and dutch choc mint.

Killing off acetoin and acetyl propionyl is a horrible problem. These flavors are going to continue to suck more and more over time.

I'm really disliking this trend. V2s are a start, if the push for D/A/AP free juices continues to gain momentum I can see them just outright stopping the v1s if too many are using v2s

This is why I am so damn focused on finding some useful recipes using volatiles -- so we can work as a community to make our own concentrates with DAP if we elect to.

I personally would love to still have that option. I hate the idea of not using DAP at all. I know there isnt much research for long term but I don't personally think its all that harmful in the small amounts that we use.

Tell me about it. I get that some of the fruit flavours won't be that much worse but bakery types are noticeable. Here's to a bland and boring future.

I am quite interested in those 12 new flavours. Maybe I should bug my Capella rep to see if i can get any info.

There will always be cinnamon and vanilla to vape in every flavor. Just deal with it. if you're nice, we'll throw in some maltol to sweeten your day.

This is lame. More and more people keep complaining they will keep adding to that discontinued list based off, in my opinion, shaky evidence.

I understand they want to cater to the masses but this ruins it for the rest of us who don't give a shit about DP/AP concentrates.

No kidding. I have done the Pepsi challenge with a few of the V2s and the originals and there is a noticeable difference. I always bought the V1 version. Tofu burgers are healthier and better for you. But beef is better.

Whew is right! You should have put "(but not VC1)" in the title. Damn near gave me a panic attack, and I still couldn't breathe until I checked the list and made sure Sugar Cookie and CDS weren't on it.

VC1, CDS, and sugar cookie are the best. I think they know better than to discontinue those. At least I hope.

Well I've tried a lot of these that are being discontinued, and I'm not surprised because they suck. French toast and Sweet Tea have their merits, but the toast gunks up coils real quickly. The stuff looks like tar.

The only one im sorta sad to see go is cappuccino.

I love it when companies get rid of their shit flavors and instead focus on better stuff.

I really enjoy bold tobacco. Anyone know of a substitute? I normally mix with:

bold tobacco CAP 8%
sweet woodruff TFA 3%
honeysuckle TFA 6%

That INW Biscuit circle jerk earlier in the week was just nonsense. Someone freaked out because Biscuit was out of stock on the official website and got a "Not available" message. Naturally they made a thread here declaring it was discontinued.

It's back in stock right now.

couldn't care less for the flavors being discontinued, as long as vc v1, sugar cookie, ny cheesecake, french vanilla, sweet strawberry, graham cracker, toasted almonds, sweet mango, sweet guava are there I am a happy camper

as a new mixer ( 4-5 months) and planing out my order for next week ... any of these worth while just throw in my cart to dick around with so i can say i tried it? nothing on here is in my shopping list, However after reading the thread i added Bold Tobacco for my soft spot of tobacco vapes. If any body thinks i should just wing a few things into my cart i'm down for that. any who thanks!

Thankfully no VC1. One of my favorite vendors seems to have clearly switched from VC1 to VC2 in one of my ADVs, which means I'm gonna have to try whipping it up myself :/
