Bavarian Cream vs. Boston Cream
submitted over 9 years ago by BriarMagic13

I've been using Bavarian Cream since I started making my own juice, I love this flavor and consider it a versatile and invaluable addition to any cream base. But what about Boston Cream? I haven't tired this yet and would like to know the Hive Mind's thoughts on the other B-Cream.

They definitely wouldn't be interchangeable. Cap BCP is the whole thing- cake chocolate and the cream. TFA Bavarian cream is just the cream

This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

Just to clarify, IMHO, BC is more than just a cream. It most definately has some bakery spices & caramel notes. For a single note "cream" flavors look at Whipped Cream or Sweet Cream.

I may be wrong but wouldn't Boston cream be: chocolate glazed doughnut + sweet cream where BC is just a type of cream? I never picked it up because I figured i can just make it myself
