Bottle rack/holder
submitted over 9 years ago by SenorBiceps

I know this question has been asked before but I'm yet to find the answer im looking for. I want a bottle rack. Simple as that, specifically one that can hold 30ml bottles. I'm very tired of having a pile of bottles. If there's options, I like "staircase" style racks. I don't want to make one (unless it's INCREDIBLY easy), I would rather just spend a few bucks. I've seen some on DHgate but they all seem really overpriced for what you're getting ($20+ for $.50 of plastic if not less). All I'm looking for is a link to a decent bottle rack, doesn't need to be a specific material or anything.

for people who mix in different rooms in their house like me (sometimes the office or kitchen or living room), i just picked one of these up today. but i mostly buy 8-13ml bottles.the adjustable trays hold at least 95 8-13ml bottles. the top compartment holds my nic, scale and multiple 30ml bottles. http://www.harborfreight.com/toolbox-organizer-with-4-drawers-68238.html

edit to add...if you dont have a harborfreight near you. their are fishing tackle boxes that are exactly the same for a little higher price. i think they start out at close to $20 on amazon.

for my 8oz vg and pg squeeze bottles and my 4 oz bottles (6) i got one of these. http://www.harborfreight.com/ammo-box-61451.html

empty bottles, pipettes and labels just go in a shoe box for now.

i know this isnt a solution for everyone but im sure for a lot of people this would also be a great set up.

also i use the first box for my building stuff, tanks/rdas and juice. for that the top compartment holds all my wire, tools, cotton, ect crap. the bottom, i only use 2 trays. i remove the lid off of 1 tray (which the lid then fits in the top compartment to be used as a portable tray to build on). then the lidless container holds 24 bottles of 60ml juice plus some random 10-30ml bottles. then i use one compartment to keep all my tanks/rdas with spare glass, coils, orings ect in.

its perfect for keeping your coffee table free of 10 bottles of juice or if you travel by car a lot its easier to grab and go than trying to figure out what to take.

A bit over the price you're asking for though.

This one should work: http://www.amazon.com/Bella-Multi-Level-Nail-Polish-Organizer/dp/B00FPOOJL2/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1456883193&sr=8-8&keywords=nail+polish+rack

Damn those things aren't cheap at all holy hell! I found this one in my own efforts and I like it but again, it just seems like a lot of money for a piece of plastic you know? http://m.dhgate.com/product/acrylic-e-cig-eliquid-bottle-display-showcase/212524360.html#s3-32-1%7C2471000299

I own a laser cutter. Acrylic is freaking expensive. If I want to make it, it costs as much as importing from China. And importing is less labor.

Wow it really is that expensive? Maybe I've misjudged this then haha

If you have a Muji outlet near you, look for their acrylic holders.

Well, unfortunately the stair case style would just be SO consuming of materials that I don't think it would be efficient. I could do like 3 steps though. Give or take.

Steps are gonna be a huge consumer of material and time, but 3 "steps" would be moderately doable.

Akro-Mills parts storage racks are what I use. I used duct tape to cover the clear fronts to keep light out, and labeled each one with what flavor is stored onside to keep it organized. I also used black poster board to cover the back as it is clear as well. They are stackable, so even when you collection of flavors grows excessive you'll be able to store them in a small amount of space i. e. I have almost 500 flavors stored in an area about 4 feet wide by 5.5 feet high and don't have to dig or reach for a flavored that is stored behind another flavor as you would in a rack.

The 30ml bottles fit in there? If so how many per tray? How many 10ml per tray?

2 points

by chinolofusover 9 years ago

if its comparable to most parts bins then prob 1 maybe 2 30ml if the drawers are deep enough. 4-6 8-13ml sample bottles. i used to use a similar type setup before i switched to what i linked to in my post above.
