Hey guys! I'm looking into getting into diy soon, but I have no means of freezing nicotine due to lack of space. I wouldn't want to buy a large amount and have it go bad. Carolina extracts only offers 120 mL as their smallest size. I've looked into wizardlabs and ecigexpress, but they seem to have really mixed reviews on here. Any suggestions?
I have been diy for 6 months. I had a local B&M NIC my juice for 3 months. Then I bought ecigexpress NIC, shit was peppery and nasty, relatively cheap with $8/30ml 100mg. Then I got a sample 15ml from Nude NIC for $2 and it was great. Went on to purchase $9/50ml 100mg. I NIC 5-7 bottles and leave the remainder in the freezer. Very little space needed, but I do freeze it. I go through 30ml/3-4 days.
My experience.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Nude nic's shipping price is what deterred me
Nude Nic has an amazing product. As others have said, the nude armor really aids in prolonging shelf life. I've only used v1 but v2 seems it would def be better for non-freezer storage. I keep my nic in a crown royal bag in the refrigerator freezer lol.
Your freezer is so full that you can't put a 4-6 inch tall by 2-3inch wide bottle somewhere in the back of it?
I find that exceptionally hard to believe.
Buy a mini-fridge for your room. You know you want to.
Yeah, I'm living on my college campus with four roommates. Either way, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't appreciate nicotine in our freezer.
I buy 120ml at a time from nudenic in their nude armor v2 bottles. It's fantastic for someone like me with no freezer space and children in the house
why do you choose armor v2 over v1? I have a feeling either is better than a regular bottle.
Has a seal on v2 so it keeps fresh longer and I feel safer having it in the house with kids around. I always keep it locked up but if for some reason they got a hold of it, at least I know it is sealed and safer than a regular bottle
I've used ecigexpress for a very very long time and have been very happy with it. Lately they have been even more consistent with very fresh and clean batches.
Wayne had a nic review in one of his recent magazines and gave them a 9/10 which I agree with. Also; cheap as hell.
Instead of getting a smaller size, why not just get a weaker mix? 120ml of 24mg would be used up faster than say 75-100mg of the same size, meaning you won't have to store it nearly as long. It costs a bit, but you're talking a handful of dollars spread out over months or years, so you're better off buying what's convenient rather than what's cheapest in bulk.
Far as Wizard Labs goes, I've had nothing but great experiences with them. They extract their own nic, pack it in dark glass bottles, and it never touches oxygen until you open it. I've been ordering their nicotine for nearly two years, and haven't had a bad tasting or oxidized batch yet.
Like the saying goes, shit happens. I'm sure they screw up sometimes, but they haven't with me. I imagine I'm in the vast majority as well, being as how they are so swamped with orders right now, that they have a banner telling people they are running a week behind.
