I have recently delved into the rich complexity of capellas godly vanilla custard and am in love with it. I am currently on a quest to make the best base flavors for mixing. Basically I will mix a part of a recipe, like the cinnamon aspects of my cinnamon muffin, or the custard part of my strawberry custard, and then for example take the vanilla custard CaP, Custard FA, Bavarian Cream TFA, and Shisha Vanilla INW, and mix it as it's own concentrate. Then I could mix that with my cinnamon concentrate, and my graham cracker concentrate made out of various TFA/FA/CaP flavors, a little bit of a muffin base, and an apple base to make a muffin man custard. I don't mind the prices of one on one flavors, but it seems like they may be pretty much be doing the same thing as me, and I am not going to waste my time with them if they are. Does anyone have more info on them or their custard flavor specifically? If they are a flavor company that actually builds them from scratch, they will have me as a loyal customer no doubt, as I need to widen my spectrum so I can find any option available so I can make things at my best potential. Any info is greatly appreciated, and as always I apologize for my poorly written wall of text. Love you guys :D
They're either a compounder, or their compounds are unrelated to any other company we use. I don't recall.

They don't compound themselves, they use another compounder and then just rebottle and resell.
I only tried their OOO Vanilla Custard once, and my only notes are at 10% singular and I said "vanilla custard note" lol.

ELR shows people using it at 1-2% so I'm assuming it works in some recipes, but none of them have any reviews so who knows.
I wanted to love them because they offer VG concentrates but none of those worked in anything I tried them in.
I have a journal for my beer brewing with notes, much like people are doing for flavors. I'll flip through and see some of my simpler recipes that say "primary 20 days, wyeast 1450, keg @ 8lbs, just tastes beer-y"
I'm not sure why I didn't take any real notes here but I did get like 50 of their flavors that day so I may have just been in a rush and not noticed anything extra special so I banged through them.
I'll have to see if I still have them and try again with a little patience.
Does it have the heaviness of VC1? Also I compare the richness in VC1 almost to VBIC TFA in a way because the diacetyl seems to almost take whatever note and add complex depth and body to it.
I really don't know, I didn't take any good notes at all. From what I remember, I bought dozens of flavors and when they came I made 5% and 10% mixes, vaped them all and wrote down next to nothing. Usually that happens with new flavor vendors when I find nothing prominent and just want to zip through them quickly.
Definitely need to pay more attention, there are a few people on ELR who seem to use their concentrates in smaller percentages.
I have a 10ml of OOO Vanilla Custard and barely used it. It tastes like bargain-aisle vanilla pudding, if you can imagine what I mean... somehow, it reminds me of cheap, 80's kid's dessert.
Basically, I don't recommend.
To be honest, I have tried a crapload of their flavors and almost none of them stand out. Actually, if I recall correctly, many of them actually don't taste very good compared to their TFA/Cap/FA/etc. counterparts.
The only one I thought of re-purchasing is their version of Strawberry Ripe, which has a stronger strawberry taste than the TFA version. However, I haven't bought another bottle yet (it's been about 6-months) and am doing fine without.
I'll give them that their flavors taste unique, very different than what we might be used to in the "standard" brands... so I do believe that they are using a different flavor manufacturer to produce their concentrates. But, as mentioned, they don't really taste good, in my opinion.

Yeah, I hear you: the names of their flavors, as well as perhaps the photos with each flavor really are enticing. I guess I got sucked into the marketing and I should have popped this question before spending a ton of money on them!
Hey, if you are looking to try a new flavor manufacturer, how about testing a couple of concentrates from Amoretti? A few users have reported that they have some good flavors... I would like to know more about these guys, too.
They pretty much copied "justgirltthings" on Instagram lmao. It's actually kind of lame, but I can see how they could be enticing, some of them look delicious. How do they even stay in business? If you have shit like Fruit Rings v1, Fruit Rings v2, Fruit Rings v3+, then there's clearly something wrong. A v2 is one thing, but you shouldn't make tons of corrections, unless there's massive flaws in what you originally made.
