Love some Gambit or Mother's Milk but tired of paying a buck a ml? Then you are in the right place my friend. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.
However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Again, why pay $1/ml when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that? Anyway, if you'd like to request a clone, this is the proper place to do it. This post will repeat monthly via AutoModerator.
Happy Mixing!
Apple butter by liquid state vapes . Can't stop vaping
Try this:
3% CA Double Apple
6% TFA Apple Pie
2% Dutch Apple Pie FW
1% Caramel CA
My friend loves apple butter, I made this on a whim and she's says its pretty close. CA double apple and TFA apple Pie are definitely the main flavors. I added in FW dutch apple pie and caramel to add sweetness without using sweeteners. Liquid State definitely uses sweetener in that flavor but its up to you if you want to add it or not
Whoa, I have a clone request!
FW Yellow Cake alternative/substitution
I know people say CAP Cake Battery but they're not similar enough to me, so I'm hoping to bring in some extra flavor concentrates to make a new flavor base without the nasty real sugar in FW's wonderful tasting concentrate.
I can't wait for fa's nonnas cake to make it state side. I've got high hopes but not sure if it's got the same problem as yellow cake
As far as I'm aware of, FA doesn't use sweeteners at all. Could be wrong, though.
From their site: Our flavors DOES NOT contain sugars, protein, genetic modified ingredients, animal ingredients of any kind, preservatives, sweeteners and colors. They are all gluten and peanut free. Great for diabetics, vegetarian and vegans.
If you can't figure it out... We'll need the collective expertise of every user on this sub to figure it out.
I'm at a loss because every cake batter base I work on tastes like white flour, not yellow cake.
The best I've come up with is CAP Cake Batter + caramel + custard. I'm guessing I need to add an artificial sweetener to bring it to FW Yellow Cake's level of battery goodness.
Have you tried FW cake batter dip?
That one contains sugar, too. About half as much as FW Yellow Cake, which is still too much for me.
You had a chance to try FA Nonnas cake? I ordered it and waiting on it to arrive. I'll message you when I get it. Supposed to be FA's yellow cake.
EDIT: Didn't notice this was already being discussed :) I'll still message you.
any luck? I'm dying to make this recipe lol
also, how bad is it that these concentrates have sugar? Is it a health issue or is it just that it gunks up the coils quickly?
Read the read text here.
INW lemon cake is very cakey and not all that lemony. I haven't tried this personally, but if you use it in a recipe at around .5% or so, the cake might shine through without having any of the lemon notes at all. I've only used the flavor in the 2-3% range, and even then the cake is very over powering. But who knows, I may be way off.
Don't have that one! Added to cart, thanks!
This is a very unique flavor. It's the kind of dense cake that leaves your fingers wet with oils after touching it. Half lemon juice half zest. Sour, sweet, bitter, cakey. 3% in VG is a little bit too strong as single flavor. I find it hard to incorporate in recipes because it's so competent and already full of layers.
I would love a clone of Cola Gummy by Cosmic Fog.
Might be a good place to start - http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/102502/Cola+gummy
my two favourite juices I've ever had which I would love to DIY are:
I also tried a sample of this one but it's out of stock anywhere in the UK that I've tried to order it from: Vapor Vial - Plantains De Flambe
This seems like an easy one but I'm a complete novice and I'd like to see if anyone can help before I try
They're not a well known brand but their juice is still $12 for 15ml. It seems like a pretty easy recipe though since they kind of spell it all out
Described as Creamy, Fresh Citrus, Mixed Berry Sorbet, Mandarin Orange Whipped Smoothie. Image shows raspberry, strawberry, orange and the smoothie. Basically tastes like the components mentioned and it's sweet and creamy.
edit: it's sweet but I'm not tasting it as white sugar sweet. more natural sweetness that you might get from nuts and fruit
Someone reviewed it so there's that if my description isn't helping
Just getting into mixing, don't know how much of each component to mix and I know sometimes you can't just get "cream" concentrate and expect it to taste like the juice's cream.
Any help or recommendations of good mixes close to this would be awesome
Orange anything is tough for a new DIYer. Hell, it's tough for me and I've been throwing flavors together for awhile.
Is it cloudy at all?
abdaba, you always come through
the juice they make is 60/40 but it's still nice and cloudy
The cloudy comes from the citrus flavors -- I would guess FA Mandarin to start.
I would actually go with 'Sicle as a beginning recipe, but bring in some berry blend like FA Forest Berry.
meloncholy by evaperated, honeydew/watermelon juice by a canadian company.
Candy watermelon or real watermelon?
im going to say real watermelon, i have a feeling its sweet watermelon by cap
edit: i got my watermelons mixed up, its not sweet watermelon(too candy like)
TFA Honeydew is popular here, although it is strong so starting out at 2% is smart.
CAP Sweet Watermelon is also popular, but not as potent, so 6% is probably a good place to start.
Is it creamy at all? Or just fruity? Sweetener?
I still really want that Teleos - Alpha clone. ): I've tried a lot in the past but to no avail. I'm about to start back down that path again with this reference: Alpha
Its very expensive and hard to find locally these days seeing as their breakfast flavors are selling so much. Any help is appreciated.
Considering I've blown through Crunch Addict by VTNW at an alarming rate, and the search has turned up bupkiss so I'm looking for a clone of CA. I'd like to try and clone it (or at least get close). Every other 'Crunch Berry' juice that I've tried can't hold a candle to this stuff. Anyone have a clone?
I would love to try to clone Kings Crest - Duchess Reserve.
After reading the profile for it and tasting the little bit I have left, I was thinking this may be it. It mentions cake, custard and creams.
Vanilla Custatd or Custard Tres Leches Ducle De Leche Seeet Cream
Looking around in ELR, I found a recipe called "Leche Butterlicious". It seems like it may be a starting point but decided to try here first. Any ideas would be awesome and thank you!
heisenberg via innevape.... unique flavor. Many rumors about this ejuice...it's not heisenberg by vampire vapes..was told they bought out a flavoring companies flavor to make this juice.. not sure how true that is.
> heisenberg via innevape
Wow, is it really that blue color? Yeesh.
Blue Raspberry, Blue Ice Pop, Blue Slushie -- shouldn't be terribly hard to start on some ideas. Blue Raspberry is a tough flavor profile, though.
Back when I first started vaping I ordered a Heisenberg flavor by N3CTAR and they offered caffeine in it :/
I tested caffeine in my own blends and I do believe I saw a beneficial reaction to it physically.
20mg of caffeine is considered the lowest useful dose. In VG it ends up being less than 2% of the composition and appears to handle heat well enough for the body to use it. Mix at 6% and it may have an effect at just 0.3ml/hour vaped.
Could have been placebo tho.
I have tried everything.. I have over 200 flavor concintrates.. I can't nail this flavor down.. it's really good.. I have tried cap blue rasp cotton candy and I don't think that's it
Southern bread pudding - turncoat .....I'm pretty sure it's a mix of vanilla cupcake and yellow cake, still haven't cracked this recipe yet
> Southern bread pudding - turncoat
Does it gunk the hell out of your coils?
Big time. The actual juice must use at least 4-5% fw yellow cake. It's delicious mixed with vanilla cupcake but yea the yellow cake destroys cotton and builds.
I'm interested in the Boosted - Wastegate. I want to know what things come out of this bag of tricks. It looks like there was interest in a single thread a while ago, but there are several deleted comments in that lonely thread now.
Thank you!
> Here's a Wastegate clone. You'll need to use the translate function on the bottom left of the page (unless you can read French) http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/boosted-ejuice-wastegate/
seems highly rated on elr
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/177103/Spot+on+Boosted
I'd love a clone for King's crest Don Juan. I'm a total newbie to diy so it's out of my league for me to work it out. I bought every pecan and maple concentrate and some Graham cracker but I've no idea of the proportions.
Joker Ejuice - Pineapple Fluff
or
I'm on a Pineapple kick, but cannot seem to figure out how to make my own reliably.
I've spent so much time trying to clone Lunar Harvest by Vaper's Knoll. I have been unsuccessful in the Blue Raspberry realm. Any recipe you find on Reddit is not accurate..especially the one guy just fucking guessed at it and didn't seem to know anything.
Did you ever find out anything on this?? I've been looking for this
My holy grail...JFK by Exquisite. It's one of my all-time off-the-shelf favorites, warm, creamy goodness. Here is the description from their website:
Vanilla, butterscotch, with a slight hint of hazelnut and topped off with a touch of caramel tobacco. Plus our own secret twist.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I want a bottle now - seems like all the popular tobaccos are dessert tobaccos in this vein.
Is the tobacconess an afterthought? How would YOU describe the flavor?
I request it every time... CF's Milk and honey. There are a ton of attempts on elr but they are all completely off. Not even close. I would literally give all the money in my wallet for a real clone of this
Does anyone have/know of a clone for Double Barrel- Bounty? The flavor is described as "A tasty blend of banana tobacco with subtle hints of Cinnamon", but it tastes 100% like fresh Banana Nut Bread.
.. Shurb? Nah jk jk.
How about Swamp Thang by Ruthless? Green apple Jolly Rancher.
Probably the only juice I've had that genuinely managed to be "sour". Had a short period of time in the past where I tried cloning it but "sour apple" is a lot harder to pin down than you'd expect. There's just so many options/combinations that can be used there.
Teleos's Crunch
Description is, "This Fresh Berry Mix is Purely Insane! Fusing Pomegranate, juicy Blackberries, tart Kiwis, and a touch of Acail!"
I'll probably just attempt cloning this at some point since I've yet to do so with any juice and it could be a fun project. Anyone have recommendations for those individual flavors? At the moment I only have TPA's Blackberry.
TFA pomegranate deluxe (not regular) is pretty awesome. TFA double kiwi and acaii are pretty solid flavors too. Deep Blue is made locally in dallas, he uses mainly TFA flavors so you could probably just start with those.
Hateraide by Captivape is by far one of the juiciest juices I've tried to date and far and away my favorite orange cream. I bought a ton of orange flavors to set out in cloning it as I can still see myself going to buy some. It also has a nice cream to it that is nice and light, it seems most creams are really custard-y, cloying, and heavy. It's a great vape and I'd love to hear any feedback.
Beard No 32. And please not a shitty one from public ELR because none of them are very close.
Breakfast Club E-Juice's Apple Snaxx
Little late to the thread but gold, $5 PayPal or $5 to any (credible) charity (assuming its a cause I don't morally disagree with, 99% sure it won't be) to anyone who can make a good one. I probably won't be able to test it for a while after you post so please don't try to swindle gold from me haha
Burley Beard from VC. I can't find a recipe anywhere...Any suggestions?
Whats it taste like to you?
Banzai's pinky swear.
"berry crispy rice treat"
Very marshmallowy rice crispy treat with a faint hint of berrys.
Requesting clones for 2 of my favourite eliquids that i haven't been able to find clones for:
SNOZZcreme (SNOZZBerry e-juice) by: Murica Vapors.
Hi Guys & Gals, long time lurker, first time poster.
Can anyone help with a clone for Halcyon Vapors: Grape Gatsby?
It was my all day vape for almost a year before I got in to DIY (Thanks to lurking and learning here) and is now being phased out, no longer featured on their site. The link above is the only site that I can find it at, in stock and not located within my borders. I have searched and searched and have not been able to find a recipe.
On inhale I taste a soft muted grape with a hint of lychee and the slightest hint of menthol. The vapor has a soft feel on the throat hit.
To me it tastes just like grape flavored big league chew taste being subjective and all.
Profile: "Minted Grape with our signature "lychee-like" accents. Do you like the coolness of menthol but wish your mouth wasn't sucker punched so hard by it? This vape is for you! We paired grape with a few other gems and sprinkled some mint on top. Get the cooling effect, with great flavor and NO SUCKER PUNCH TO THE MOUTH effect. A very smooth and serene vape."
Thanks!
Anyone got a clone of Kilo's Cereal Milk? Just got this juice today and i love it.
http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/kilo-cereal-milk/
7% Fruit Circles (TFA) 3% Fresh Cream (FA) 2.5% Berry Crunch (TFA) 2% Bavarian Cream (TFA) 2% Marshmallow (TFA) 1.5% Sweet Cream (TFA)
u/bendahen i was referring to this recipe my bad. Been craving some cereal vape and have all the flavors on hand . Was wondering if you tried it out with these percentages
I cant stop vaping on the Muffin man, can someone suggest a recipe with flavours accessible in Europe? (Belgium Maybe?) I know where to find "revolute diy" aromas and maybe capella aromas but i'm not sure since the new regulations in belgium :/ Thanks!
Anyone tried "Delicious Melons" from south coast vapor (http://www.southcoastvapor.com/delicious-melons-15ml-prod.html). I got a sample from one of my local vape shops and fell in love with it. I ordered 480ml from them and loved it even more, I believe I actually shed a tear when I filled my last tank. I've experimented with trying to get close but to no avail, so if anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
Anybody know of a clone for CRFT Rosso? Searches have turned up nothing and my own efforts have not even come close. They describe it as blood orange with black currant and a hint of honey, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. I'm still fairly new to diy so any suggestions would be appreciated. I've tried various combinations of fw blood orange, tfa and fa black currant, fa bergamot, and a number of other flavors to no avail. If anyone can clone it I would gladly repay the favor with a bottle of off the shelf juice or some free diy supplies, anything so I can keep my adv and stop paying 20 bucks a bottle for it!
Nectar by Neckbeard's Juice.
Had this ages ago, and I really loved it. But I haven't really ordered more since it's a bitch to order from giantvapes.com into Europe and go through the customs process.
Anyway, here's the description:
>Sticky caramel and creamy vanilla spiked with the perfect touch of mild, toasted tobacco. A completely new take on the classic RY4, Nectar is a well-balanced, savory, and sweet candied tobacco. Neckbeard’s most popular blend, and easily all-day-vape worthy.
I've been thinking about experimenting and coming up with something myself, but since I'm still pretty new to DIY I'm not that familiar with different types of tobacco, vanilla and caramel types. I've seen that this clone has been asked for before but there has been no recipe posted so far. Anyone care to help me out with some flavor recommendations?
Not one I've tried but I'm an RY4 fan myself, from the description I think the best base for this (or any good sweet RY4 for that matter) is TFA RY4 Double. On my shopping list would be TFA Vanilla Swirl (a lighter creamier vanilla), FA Vanilla Bourbon (richer darker vanilla without the creaminess of the TFA, great with tobaccos), FA Caramel, Acetyl Pyrazine if needed to bring up the nutty/toasted notes (TFA 5% or similar).
Hard to know if there's a little of another tobacco in there without having tried it but FA Glory is superb with RY4s for adding a touch more tobacco depth - rich, slightly sweet, toasted, slightly nutty.
DIY or DIE knows his RY4s and he likes FW Butterscotch Ripple to add sweetness with TFA RY4D...see notes on his pistachio RY4 here but that's not an ingredient I've tried.
So yeah, go for it yourself as an experiment. Start with some TFA RY4 Double standalone to dial in the flavour strength (it's delicious on it's own so hard to go too far wrong) and build around it from there.
Alright, thanks for the tip. I actually have a lot of those on hand, except for FA Vanilla Bourbon and FA Glory.
I actually already have TFA RY4D and have mixed it as a stand-alone. This particular liquid that I mentioned was quite subtle on the tobacco taste, but I don't think there was any acetyl pyrazine in there. (Then again, I tried this liquid ages ago and I wasn't mixing at all back then). But what the hell - I guess I'll try and come up with something myself and hopefully can come out with something satisfactory in the long run.
Again, thanks for the tip.
Bluebird - Bluebird eLiquid Looking at TFA flavors.
Hello DIY_eJuice community, I am here to ask a favour. A lot of my friends buy Kanzi by Twelve Monkeys and a couple strictly vape it. Iv'e searched for a Kanzi clone and I found one that was similar but just wasn't close enough for me. I am relatively new to DIY and need you guys to help me make this clone! I understand this is a DIY forum but i have had no success trying to clone it for about two weeks now. thanks in advance!
I have a unique clone request, but I'm not sure how to go about it.
My local B&M has this e-juice that I would vape all day. Only problem is it's expensive. Costs $35 per 30ml. It is costly because I go through 30ml in a few days. It isn't sold online either.
It's Graham Cracker flavor, and all the other types of Graham Cracker flavors out there don't compare.
what kind of graham cracker flavor is it. u could try adding any sort of grain enhancing flavor such as fa joy, cap sugar cookie or heck any cookie for that matter, maybe a dessert bakery like fw yellow cake. all of these would maybe compliment the graham cracker flavor if u decided to use one. maybe it has no graham cracker at all in it but it probly does. there are alot of diff graham cracker flavorings. and any combination of creams and complimentary flavors all combine into one unique flavor.
Has anyone ever tried psycho obsessed by longhorn vapor? its a VERY well done lemony cereal type. its not at all lemon pledge nor does it taste like it has tfa fruit circles in it at all. the lemon in it is so sweet and well complimented.it does have a bit of a grain and berry and cream as well. it also is more on the side of fruity pebbles imo. i had some that i let sit in my backpack for a very long time then tried it and it kinda had that bergamont taste to it. making me think its a variation similar to the first recipe in the famous "making a better cereal" thread. if anyone wants to try and clone it that would be awesome!!! its by far my favorite along with cuttwood sugar drizzle. also what do u think about cloning sugar drizzle. i know its got cap vanilla custard v1 in it FOR SURE lol its quite apperant. however i dont think it has amy CDS either, just a tad if any. ive never tried wayne's clone but im going to when i get my cap graham in. just doesnt seem like it would be enough cinnamon tho. maybe throw in a bit of sum rich cinnamon by flv or cinnamon bun by fw both of which ive heard good things about and seen in clones.
found a kilo kiberry clone floating around and dont remember where (sorry to who ever made this originally). I've made a few batches since then and its pretty simple and delicious.
- Strawberry (Ripe) (FA) @ 7%
- Kiwi (FW) @ 3%
- Yogurt - Greek (FW) @ 3%
- Cream Fresh (FA) @ 2%
Would like to develop a clone for Bad Drip's "Ugly Butter" their description is: They don't call it Ugly for nothing... Uncle Freddy's famous, fancy fried dough, showered with carnival cultivated cinnamon-sugar, serenaded with a Cosby-quality banana pudding.
To me, this juice tastes of predominantly cinnamon and like a buttery dough/cookie.. sort of like a Snicker doodle. The banana pudding is very subtle.
Any starting ideas for what concentrates would work best together for this would be super helpful.. thanks!
Just some ideas for starting places based solely on the description; I've never tried Ugly Butter: CAP Sugar Cookie, CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl, CAP Vanilla Swirl, CAP Butter Cream or Butter, CAP Super Sweet, FA Joy, LA or TFA Banana Cream. Maybe TFA Cinnamon Sugar Cookie but I doubt it.
Thanks for these suggestions! I have most of these or will have them with my order coming today so I'll see what I can come up with. This is my first attempt at coming up with my own recipe so should be interesting!
Brand new to Diy juices and have yet to order any ingredients. If anyone has a recipe for Mod N world's Maghrib flavor I'll definitely pull the trigger, as I cannot get enough of that stuff!
(I already have access to equipment needed, so why not start with a flavor I love!)
has anyone tryed to clone serenity from coval vapes?
I am familiar with Coval, haven't tried to clone Serenity yet. But I do have a pretty damn good PBB Clouds clone if that interests you.
I'd love if you'd share that with me! Thanks
5% Peanut Butter TFA
7% Banana Creme TFA
2% Bavarian Cream TFA
1% Caramel TFA
Simple and delicious recipe, not quite in the 90/10 ration that Coval uses for, but I think 85/15 is close enough. It's a decent shake and vape, but around 1-2 weeks is when the magic really starts happening.
