All flavors tests at 22.4 watts .5ohms on an RBA for a Kanger Subbox mini with fresh wicking of Japanese Cotton between flavours - no aging. 70%VG 30%PG no nic. Ill be back in a week or so with an update to how the aged.
INW - Cytryna Lemon
Out of the bottle - Strong “Natural” Lemon scent, reminiscent of Pledge, but with no chemical smell. Odd salty/limey not lemon but citrusy note Recommend less than 1% based on just the intensity out of the bottle. Second wafting def picking up a green citrus note in there, lil bit of a leafy note too.
Single Flavor 0.5% - Definitely glad I started at .5%, very potent flavor. At .5% it’s right up front and present. Very clean lemonade flavor. In the background I do notice some bitters floating around waiting to be tapped. Would pair really well with bergamot. Could see using this as the lemon for a lemon tart. I could see using this in lieu of Italian Lemon Sicily(ILS) which is my current lemon source. Sweeter for sure, but the bitters and subtle minty greens in the background add more depth than I get out of the ILS. Look forward to experimenting with this to make a lemon tart or lemon cheesecake mix.
INW Brzoskwinie(Peach)
Out of the bottle - Sweet Peach like scent, in the same range as TFA Juicy Peach, it’s no FA White Peach, but it might be better than FA Yellow Peach - Citrusy note but might be residual from Lemon - Natural sort of note is there, but buried under the candied notes - might be like canned peaches
Single Flavor 3% - Mhmmm, most definitely found an addition to my peachstone. Surprisingly natural and simple peach flavor. Not candied at all, almost like peaches out of a can with light syrup. Def a sweet peach flavor, touch of a bitter, like when you bite too close to the core. At 3% supporting note that will blend well with other peaches, like White Peach. 5% it might make a really nice standalone peach. Hands down one of the most natural peach flavors I’ve had, although it could be a bit more potent. I’ll def be getting more of this.
M.B Melty Caramel
Out of the bottle - Def has diacetyl I can smell the buttery goodness. Def a candied caramel note there, reminds me of the pourable caramel for ice cream, probably going to need aging time. Not a dark creamy caramel, light top notes might be this one’s best bet, that buttery goodness though reminds me of caramel corn.
Single Flavor - 4.4% Nothing but burnt sugar and wax with a very slightly sweet note. Might change with age, might also need to be a upped to 6 or 8%.None of the buttery notes showed up that I could smell the in the straight concentrate. Super bummed, but hopeful that in a week or two it will develop.
M.B Panna Cotta
Out of the bottle - Definitely creamy, some chocolate notes, some cookie notes, some fruity notes(but very light). Very complex flavour out of the bottle, will def need time to age to really mature I think. Might play well with nuts, tiramisu, chocolate boosts shouldn't be necessary. Might work for milk chocolates.
Single Flavor 5% - Dear god this is tasty, I’ve never had Panna Cotta before so I am not sure exactly what I should be tasting. The cream notes make me think its def going to need aging time though. Strong Horchata like note, creamy sweet rice upfront. Vanilla is there and gone again. You can def pick it up, but it’s not a main note. Hints of cinnamon and chocolate. There is a little bit of a fruity note, generic and non-distinct though, might come out at higher percentage or with right pairing. Graham/cookie like note is there under it all. The chocolate notes aren’t really noticeable on inhale or exhale, but are def there sitting on your tongue. This could be a good addition to a cereal vape.
M.B Sharp Black Currant
Out of the bottle - Very strong smell. Very sweet. Reminds me of purple fruit rollups Some blueberry notes in there, some currant, some raspberry, maybe acai berry note too, bilberry would play well with this.
Single Flavor 2% - Very interesting flavor. At 2% its nice and clean fruity flavour. Def picking up strong notes of currant, which is to be expected. But I also get a bit of a grapish flavor on the exhale, it isn’t strong, but it’s def there. Picking up some raspberry or red berry notes, though they are subtle. Complex flavor, lots of nuance. Gummy Bear like taste after a few puffs, not very prominent, but might develop more with time. Will pair really well with Bilberry, Strawberry Ripe, or INW Raspberry to boost the subtle notes. I could see this being a really good blender flavor taking on aspects of w/e it’s paired with. Might make for a good base at 3-4% testing will tell.
M.B Tropical Mango
Out of the bottle - weakest out of the bunch, can sort of smell the mango. maybe some passion fruit. maybe some dragon. all very faint. recommend 4-6% to start.
Single Flavor 5% - So at 5% it’s still pretty weak, def going to need to be upped to at least 7-8%. At 5% getting slightly sweet slightly citrusy mangoey flavor. Tangelo like notes going on in the midground, pretty subtle but after a few hits they become more pronounced. Getting a bit of a passion fruit note on the exhale through my nose, but it’s subtle and has to build. Def potential there, no bitters, but pretty mild flavour might do wellll, but at the price, 8% is pretty spendy for a single flavor. Unless it really sings at 8% or with aging, can’t see using this too often.. Also picking up a slightly waxy note, similar to the waxy note in the melty caramel, didn’t pick it up in Currant or Panna, so it might just be coincidence.
Nice notes! I wish there were more of these.
Where did you pick up the MB?
I got them at Vaperstek, this was my first order through them, shipping was the usual, got to my place in a 3 days so I can't complain. Their pricing is reasonable, but not competitive with the larger sites. But, no one else that I could find in the states was selling MB so beggars can't be choosers.
I'll probably continue to shop for INW, FA, Cap, and TFA thru Bull City and Gremlindiy for now though. Definitely going to be getting more of the Panna Cotta and Sharp Currant.
You sold me on those two as well, haha.
Thanks for the reply.
The lemon is worth a try too, I added 1/2ml of the no nic mix to 2ish mls of my Ultimate Peach....mhmmm it does nice things to peaches and cream.
This Wednesday is my day off for the week and there will be mixing with the Sharp Currant though. I wanna see what it does when paired with some other fruits. My buddy also has a sparkling wine concentrate that I think we might finally be able to make work. I was honestly surprised the most by that flavor, grabbed it on a midnight lark.
Maybe I'm just more sensitive to peach flavorings, but I find INW peach to be pretty potent. I don't think I've ever used it as high as 3%, but it definitely stands out in every recipe I've used it in. Your description is spot on though.
