I've been lurking this sub for a while now, finally decided to take the plunge into DIY. After receiving my stuff today I made a batch of Monster Melons clone and it tastes delicious. You think when you buy these juices at $20+ that they have these crazy recipes that involve lots of different flavorings. It really feels awesome to have made this myself. Thanks!

It feels like it never ends. I'm up to about 150 flavors and it seems like every other recipe I see on here that looks good has some obscure flavor in it.
Add in 2% of TFA Marshmallow and it really helps!
Doesn't the price seem ridiculous now? Those guys must be printing cash. Vapers don't seem to give one shit about paying $50 for a 50ml bottle of vegetable glycerin.

Totally. The price point wasn't so bad when I was using a CE4. Once things started moving into rebuildables, clapton coils etc and all of a sudden you're blowing through 10-15 ml a day it just gets to be as expensive as smoking. I always knew the mark up on the juice was insane, i just wish I knew how easy it was to make it yourself.
I picked up these flavors recently and tried it out (never tried actual monster melons). There's something about it I can't put my finger on that makes me feel nauseous. Maybe the cantaloupe is off putting to me or the mango tastes a bit like splenda sweetener. Anyone else get this? I really wanted to like this flavor.

I took the plunge into DIY as well this new years and finally got myself a nice set of equipment for Christmas. So happy to never order juice again, I'm a huge fan of the amount of money it saves and now that I've become more skilled at building its so much cheaper to Vape! So long as I can keep myself from buying new equipment but nothing new has caught my eye lately.
Yeah the hardware part can be just as hard. My sig 150 is finally showing it's age, I always liked the vapor flasks but didn't want to pay $300. Now that they have the new one by wisemec I might just pick one up with the money I'm saving from DIY!
Fortunately I've managed to either sell or vape forward much of my older stuff so my vape drawer isn't as cluttered as it used to be lol. Currently using the VTC mini with a 10$ cloned bellus every single day and haven't felt the need to upgrade, since this setup is portable and performs great. I have an x cube II which is way too big to carry around but I may be able to trade it for an RX200 which would be nice!

I was in your boat. I basically bought what I was going to spend on more expensive juice and put it towards the stuff I needed for diy and purchased some cheaper juice to tide me over. When choosing recipes I chose to start with monster melons and mustard milk because they don't require many ingredients. They both turned out great. So impressed that I immediately bought more flavors to make some of the other top recipes on ELR.
