so I've been aging a 200ml batch for a while and as such didn't want to add my nic until I was ready to vape it. I was thinking of adding nic separately to each 30 ml I fill up so that the bulk bottle I have can remain nic-free while it continues to age. If I do so, should I add the amount of nic I normally would for a 30 ml (1.03 grams to make it 3mg/ml, using 100mg 50/50 nic) and fill the the remainder with my mix or is there a better way to calculate that? Let me know if this is redundant and I will gladly delete the post to help the mods out, thanks in advance!
Depending on what your aged mix is and what your final mix is, you can add your normal 30 ml nic in the bottle, equal part pg or vg to balance out whatever the nicotine is suspended in, and then fill your bottle. That will net you the same ratio in the bottle as your aged stuff.
So I've got my blend ready at 70vg/30pg, so adding my usual 1.03 grams of nic first and then filling up the remainder until the neck of the bottle should be close enough right? I'm alright with not being completely exact because I vape anywhere from 3-5 mg anyways
It shouldn't effect the nicotine level, only the VG/PG ratio will change by a 1-2% depending on your nicotine base type.
