How do you find out the threading?
submitted over 9 years ago by pixeldotz

Been awhile since I posted but I had a few questions regarding thread sizes.

I want to order twist open/close tops for my flavor bottles. The problem is I have the "old" 4oz variety of TFA and the "new" 4oz variety of the TFA bottles and some 15oz glass bottles. After a year of mixing with syringes I'm tired of constantly cleaning and want to start weight mixing.

I emailed them earlier but haven't heard back yet.

Second - what's the best place to select bottle tops? I'm not 100% committed to twist caps. I do like the tops like small lotion bottles have that open with a press of the thumb. I don't know what those are called though.

Thanks for any help.

I can't help on the threading, but the couple of 4 oz bottles I have I just transfer some into 15ml dropper bottles with a funnel for mixing.

I've been looking for a funnel for transferring 4oz flavorings to smaller bottles. Which one are you using, or what store did you use to find one?

Yeah ok, guy. Looking for one that will fit in a small plastic bottle opening.

I got a few of the plastic ones from bull city, haven't had any issues with them fitting any bottles.

I just use the same LDPE bottles I put my juice in to hold my flavorings. Transfer the liquid via a pipette or very careful pouring.

sorry - i should clarify a bit. I don't have any bottles suited to this. I have a total of about 6 bottles that i use that already have juice in them. so transferring them to these bottles won't work for me. also - these bottles suck; i got them from the Container Store and they have "caps" for the tips instead of actual twist top or Disk Top Caps. https://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin171d.html has the top caps i was thinking about. but i wouldn't use PET plastic.
