Couldn't figure out why I felt like crap till I was heading to bed and realized I had gone through 30ml of juice that day. But then it hit me ...
submitted over 9 years ago by marshull

I just wicked the rba on my TFV4 yesterday morning and I knocked out a quick 30ml bottle of juice to go with it. I drive a truck for a living so I can vape pretty much all day long. But by the middle of the day I was feeling kind of crappy. And at the end of my day as I was heading back to my room I even felt a little dizzy.

While sitting in my room watching some tv I went to fill back up and noticed that my 30ml bottle was just about empty. Crap. Maybe that's why I felt so off all day.

But later as I was just about to fall asleep I thought back to that morning as I made that bottle of juice. It then hit me that I never added the nic.

So now I sit here feeling much better after making another bottle with nic this time. Guess my body still needs the stuff.

I heard there was this electrolyte power that can help with the negative side effects of vaping.

I dislike you to an extreme extent at this exact moment. really. electrolyte powder. as in gatoraide. you realize if you just drink water and eat healthy it makes a better difference. if you would rather live a malnourished life, drink less than the necessary amount of water per day, and vape in place of common sense then by all means spend money on a product that promotes your poor decisions.

EDIT: the rage monkeys took over the keyboard.

You dont need it so much as your body is used to it being there.

I guess that is true too.

That's probably why you went through 30ml too. I've made a few juices over the years that were too low on the nic level and it left every draw unsatisfying so I found I took more draws. This was when I was using evods and running 12 mg/ml as the norm.

What level nic are you at? With the pending FDA regulations you may want to consider bringing down your nic. Would hate to hear that you reverted to the cancer sticks to get your fix.

Down to 3 mg.

Jesus, that site should REALLY take their shop to https at least. From what I can tell, it'll post your credit card info in the clear.

I thought I was still in ECR and was expecting a dad's piss joke. Or something even worse. I'm glad it was just that =}

It's probably both the nic and vg bud.

I forgot the appropriate term for dehydrating-catalyst, but vegetable glycerine is exactly that.

Just water, diet (not literal diet, just eat healthy), walk around since you're on your tushy more often than most people.

You'll be okay :) level 3 nic is a common low grade, but at some point you should consider making your own and adding your own custom levels of nic.

May I ask, how is truck driving?

I diy, that's why I said I forgot to add nic.

I drive an oil rig up in North Dakota. Used to be great but I am losing about $2500 a month now. Getting ready to head back home.

That's why I always mix my nicotine first. However, I did the same thing before with juice bought at my B&M. They sold me a 0mg by accident. I went back the next morning after vaping 10mls before I realized what my migraine was from. They gave me the 3mg bottle the next day and let me keep the partially used one.

If you can make it through 30mL of juice in a day and not be tired of the flavour it must be a damn good recipe. Care to share? :D

Actually on my 3rd day vaping the same flavor.

2% green tea .5% spearmint 5% cherry blossom

If you try it, let me know what you think.

I've used INW Cappuccino, taste great, bit it makes me sick after just a couple mills. Did you use a flavor that's new to you?

by marshullover 9 years ago

Nope. I had just forgot to add nic and I think my body was just missing it.

I'm surprised your body noticed it. Ever heard of the placebo effect?

17 points

by gophercuresselfover 9 years ago

Surely a placebo effect would be a good assumption if OP hadn't felt any different and then later realised there was no nic (knowledge precedes effect). As it was there was a noticeable effect which was only later confirmed as to why (effect precedes knowledge).

I know of the placebo effect. But I just didn't feel right all day. Plus I was vaping way more than I usually do. I guess I was just trying to get something that just wasn't there. It didn't even dawn on me till I was about to fall asleep that I had forgot to add nic.

This happened the time my wife made her own oil. Mixed it up and vaped all day, realized she was in a bad mood and didn't know why, til she remembered.

Not gonna down vote you, but I wouldn't recommend calling it oil.

Don't worry, I got you covered. But, fair warning, I call them "left boats", so that's what I'm gonna call them.

I always call it oil, and everyone I know who vapes does too. Don't see why it could be a bad thing, it lubes my cotton so my box will work right

by CosmoVerdeover 9 years ago

Because it's not oil. If it was it would mess your lungs up bad. Calling it oil perpetuates the belief of non vapers that it is oil and really bad.

Also, saturate. Unless you're putting juice on o-rings or something it's not reducing any friction.

The issue is in the industry, oils build up in the lungs when vaped and are detrimental to the users health. No e-juice should contain oils. Period. Calling it oil colloquially could perpetuate a negative stigma towards vaping.
