Just made a decent mix of Dx sweet cream and a couple fruit flavors. Will steeping for [an allotted amount of time] bring out the cream further?
Only one way to find out, right? I've never used DX flavors, though.
I use tfa Bavarian dx a lot and I'd say it takes about a week to start developing. But like a lot of tfa flavors and a lot of creams, give it a nice 3-4 week steep. Youll be happy you did. Bavarian cream dx is the only dx flavor I really have experience with. I have a recipe I use for when I have a sore throat or just plain old sick. I call it "sick day" lol.
- 10% TFA Bavarian Cream DX
- 3% CAP Marshmallow (or any brand)
I whip it up when I'm sick and give it a quick steep on my coffee mug warmer for 3-4 hours and let it sit for at least 4 hours. The Bavarian cream dx is actually really nice, flavorful, creamy and soothing all in the same day. Just thought I'd share.
I guess it can't hurt, but if by "bring out the cream" you mean "make it taste more like non-DX" it probably isn't going to happen.
As a shake and vape, I can't really taste the sweet cream at all, so I was wondering if I let it steep if that would make the DX more prominent overall.
My experience with CAP v2 flavors (sort of equivalent to TFA DX flavvors) is that they develop a smoother/cream sensation after a week or 2, although I haven't tried their v1 flavors to compare the end results. Shake and vape isn't too bad, but they definitely do smooth out over time.
If your not happy with TPA's DX version "Sweet Cream" go with FA's "Fresh Cream" it's also said to be diketone free and most love that one.
What's the difference between the DX and regular?
