Coffee addicts, I'm talking to you.
submitted over 9 years ago by rogeorgie

Thing is - I freaking love the taste of coffee, but recently I've noticed that my stomack doesn't feel the same way I do. So I'm trying to quit drinking it but I can't, every time someone drinks coffee at the office I want some too. Bad. And after every cup I have to deal with consequences.

So, please, give me some goood recipe for a good coffee juice, I'm sure it will help me stop myself from drinking it.

TFA/Capella recipes much appreciated! Hope I'm not breaking the sub's etiquette. Thanks.

EDIT: Thank you all guys! will try FA Dark Bean adding some creamy flavours to it. Hoping the coils will last more than an hour :D

FA Dark Bean is your best friend here.

1 to 2% straight up is pretty good as is.

I've been mixing a Caramel Machiatto 120ml at a time for the past several months and vaping it 1st thing in the morning.

FA Dark Bean 1%

CAP Caramel 4%

FA Catalan Cream 1%

FA Vanilla Tahiti 1%

You can try subbing TFA or CAP for the vanilla and creams but it's not going to be the same. FA Dark Bean is essential since all other coffees flavors taste like ass.

I've been working on a caramel custard with notes of coffee. Using dark bean at even .35 % it completely over powers everything else in the juice. Its a complex mix that has to steep for 2 weeks or so to be prime. First few days is delicious caramel. After that its nothing but bold dark roast coffee. So I don't see how 1% will allow you to taste anything else

I've mixed this at all sorts of percentages. I've gone up to 2% Dark Bean as an experiment and it's just too much but 1% is my sweet spot (in THIS recipe). It also matters what else you are mixing with it. This isn't a custard with coffee overtones, it's a cup of coffee with caramel overtones. I guess taste is indeed subjective after all.

My very first recipe was HIC's Vanilla Nut Coffee and I feel the same way. The coffee just overpowers everything. I made a variation with half the coffee and removed the hazelnut, trying to get rid of that strong, bitter flavor. However it still doesn't work for me. I may try another brand of coffee flavor someday, but for now I've given up on it.

Most of hic recipes are harsh and strange in flavor. I bought some of them and all of them were garbage.

Do you know how Dark Bean compares to Coffee Espresso?

It's the same thing :)

I just order my batch of flavors all from cap just because I hear they stride in pastry flavors and I definitely want to try this.

Also ima post my order up so I can hopefully get some suggestions being a noob n all

FA Dark Bean (Espresso) and Molinberry Fresh Coffee are the only good flavourings out there. TFA Cappuccino has a great taste, but you will need to change coils every 3-5mls and it goes bad in a few days (oxidises insanely fast), others don't taste like coffee or have the same problems as TFA.

I have the same problem, love coffee but my body isn't a fan, my favorite coffee recipes are:

Curious does coffee taste like a 'cream and sugar' coffee flavor or is it just a black coffee or roasted coffee bean flavor?

I made a Caramel Macchiato recently that I think is decent. All TFA flavors.

Of course, better after steeping a bit.

I'm not a coffee vape fan at all, and I'm a coffee snob. But here's the recipe I make on occasion when I want to fry a coil.

Carpe Diem

FA Coffee Espresso(dark bean) 0.5%

FA Cream Fresh 2%

FA Caramel 1.5%

FA Vanilla Tahity 1%

Lol!

It should be noted that any and all coffee vapes are total coil-wreckers and tank-stainers.

edit creme de la creme actually didn't stain my tank that hard, IIRC

Hey, this ain't juice related, but if you ever just need the caffeine from coffee but can't handle the drink, you can take caffeine pills. I have to do that because my stomach flips a lid when I drink coffee too. It's weird how I can handle harsh soda and energy drinks but not coffee ={

by rogeorgieover 9 years ago

used to swallow those pills back in university days, lol, not sure they actually did something or it was just a placebo effect.

Well, speaking from my experience, they definitely work. I take 200mg Jet Alert and there no mistaking what its doing. Some people find it overwhelming but I've loved them.

Try the coffee flavor from Medicine Flower, maybe 3-4 drops per 30ml

MF's Coffee is, indeed, fantastic. Haven't perfected a recipe yet, but, have made some very vapeable, tasty "not quites".

I don't have FA's "Dark Bean" yet, so I can't weigh it against it, but MF's is a really good, true coffee flavor.

I swore off coffee vapes for a long time because they all tasted like popcorn to me, but I mixed this up recently and it's really good. It is definitely a desert coffee:

  • Coffee (INW) 0.50%
  • Caramel (FLV) 1.50%
  • Rich Cinnamon (FLV) 0.25%
  • Vanilla Custard (FLV) 3.00%
  • Coffee (FLV) 0.25%

that's 2 drops of the cinnamon and flv coffee per 30 mL. I really like cinnamon, but it's good with 1 per 30 as well.

Add 1% Cinnamon Ceylon if you like cinnamon flavors, it doesn't overpower the coffee and is noticeable on the exhale

Here is my coffee vape

1% FA Espresso (Dark bean)

1% FA Irish Cream

3% TFA RY4 Double

by vapaioloover 9 years ago

Been curious about FA Irish Cream. Have you used it in other applications?

1 points

by cannibalcastawayover 9 years ago

a few yes, but always various fancy coffee style vapes

by Tepoztecatlover 9 years ago

Can you taste the tobacco at all?

2 points

by cannibalcastawayover 9 years ago

not in the slightest. its a misconception that ry4 double is atobacco flavor. Its not. Think caramel, vanilla and EM in a combo that is delicious

1 points

by Tepoztecatlover 9 years ago

I see! I really have no experience with it, nor tobacco flavors in general. I ordered some RY4D, INW Gold Ducat, and INW 555 Gold TDM to start! Do you think that RY4D would be good for a caramel custard base? I've been trying to figure out what I need to make something similar to God's Custard from TBD, because I find the caramel and dulce de leche finish on it delicious!

I, personally, don't like coffee flavors but my wife and a few of her friends like this recipe that I make.

  • Coffee (TPA) 2%
  • Brown Sugar (TPA) 0.75
  • Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 0.75

I have a recipe for coffee at home from a EU mixer using CAP/TFA, but I don't have the flavors so I haven't been able to mix it up (I'll try to remember to post it when I get home). I do have FA Tiramisu which I want to use to work out like a café mocha recipe, but haven't given it a go just yet. It's got a real nice coffee/cocoa flavor to it that I think will be delicious

Edit: Caramel Cappucino (Recipe by Les from Vape It With Les)

  • Cappucino(CAP) @ 5%
  • Cup of Joe(CAP) @3%
  • Dairy Milk(TFA) @ 3%
  • Dulce de Leche(TFA) @ 1%
  • Toasted Marshmallow(TFA) @ 1%
  • Caramel Original(TFA) @ 3%

A little high on % overall, but may be worth a go

2 points

by hotwingsandcoldbeerover 9 years agoTobacconist

FA Tiramisu 3% is pretty good all on it's own. Someone here tipped me off to that a few weeks ago.

Awesome, ty! Going to have to give it a go

If anyone has a Chocolate & Coffee flavor without mint in it, I would much appreciate it.

This is NOT my recipe, by any stretch, I've just had this one in my crosshairs for awhile, and am awaiting one of the two ingredients, which should be here tomorrow or Saturday.

Basically coffee & a chocolate frosted doughnut. I haven't tasted it, so I can't vouch, but, I hope it helps.

I really like

TFA Cappuccino 3%
CAP Butterscotch 1.5%
TFA Dairy Milk 1%
Needs at least 2 weeks of steeping but after that i think it's pretty tasty. Although Coffees stain my teeth and gunk up my coils, but sometimes it's worth it.

Not a recipe but if you drinm cold brew coffee it doesn't break down the same way and it much smoother on your stomach.....

I'm currently attempting to render some folgers in PG to make my own coffee concentrate. It's only a week old so don't know how the results will be yet.

1 points

by rogeorgieover 9 years ago

how long should you steep it?

1 points

by waterhead99over 9 years ago

I don't really know. It's the first time I've tried this. I think I'm going to give it at least 2 weeks and pull some out and try it as a stand alone flavor and see how it vapes.

1 points

by rogeorgieover 9 years ago

It's been a month, I think it has steeped nicely. Care to share some experince? :)
