Can you help me recover a failed juice ?
submitted over 9 years ago by Crazii-PProud Sidebar Reader!

I made this with my brother and it came no where close to what we expected. It should be sweeter but I do not have any sweetener at the moment.

Yellow cake FW 2%

Vanilla custard CAP 2%

Lemon Sicily FA 3%

Sugar cookie CAP 2%

Meringue FA 1%

Edit - Spacing

Don't forget, juices that have custard and cake flavors need to sit and age a while, too.

Good point, I think I will let it steep for 4-5 days before trying it again.

It looks like you have a good structure to the recipe. I have a lemon cookie recipe that is pretty tasty, and I use a combination of Lemon Sicily and CAP Juicy Lemon. I find the Lemon Sicily by itself a bit dry, so the JL really adds a semisweet, juicy taste and rounds it out nicely.

Awesome! That's good to hear, I don't have juicy lemon at the moment but I will consider that for the next time I re-up ! Thank you

Marshmallow possibly.

I was thinking about that! Good call, what % do you think I should try?

I wouldn't be the best person to answer that but from what I've seen it's usually around 1-2% that have your same situation.

Marshmallow e-juice sweetener - google. So many topics and you should nail it.

I was thinking that would be a good one too, and likewise, I would start at 1%. This will def give you a bit more creaminess as you wanted. A little cheater side note I noticed when I was just getting in to FA flavors was 1% FA Meringue and 1% FA Marshmallow make just about everything taste great hahaha

What kind of flavor profile are you shooting for?

I was hoping to get something like a lemon cake, maybe lemon poppy seed cake in the future.

I would try maybe bringing the sugar cookie up a bit and maybe add a bit of FA Joy to accentuate the bakery notes if you have it. This change would probably also eliminate the need for sweetener

Yes I have Joy! I will give this a try, maybe at .5% ? and up the Sugar cookie to maybe a 3-3.5 ?

I have a very successful Lemon Poundcake recipe:

CAP Vanilla Cupcake - 6.6%
CAP Juicy Lemon - 1.65%
TFA Sweet - 3.3%

Tastes just like a lemon icing frosted Lemon Poundcake.

You could probably substitute the Juicy Lemon for the Lemon Sicily that you have with fairly good results. I prefer the Capellas Vanilla Cupcake over the FW Cakes (i.e. Yellow Cake or Birthday Cake).

CAP sugar cookie (hope it's v1) 2% FW yellow cake 1.5% CAP vanilla custard 1.5% FA lemon Sicily 1.5% FA marshmallow 1% FA meringue .75% FA MTS vape wizard 1 drop/15mL

Hope this helps!

edit: I hope you're steeping this one! I would guess approx. three-four weeks to let that custard, cake and lemon all shine just right.

made similar with *cap glazed donut at 5% (joy and biscuit at 0.7 as well) *cap custard at 4% instead of sugar cookie *0.5% strawberry ripe tpa

took about a week for the custard... lemon was still a bit harsh if chain vaped didn't last long enough to find out when that calmed down.
