Just want to say thank you
submitted over 9 years ago by DinosaurDanny666

I've been vaping for about 2 years now and I've wasted tons and tons of money on liquids and different mods/rdas. I decided to venture into DIY a month or two ago and it was a little intimidating. Nothing I made (even recipes found online) were THAT good. Nothing had enough flavor for me!

Until today... I placed an order from GremlinDIY on Thursday to pick up some flavorings to make some Bronuts, since I fucking love donut eliquids. It arrived today and I whipped up a quick 120ml bottle because I trust you guys that much..

Holy. Shit. Hands down the best donut e-liquid I have ever had. You can taste the chocolate perfectly, the fluffy doughy-ness of the bread, even some sugary glaze. It is incredible.

Add 2% Bavarian cream for a great Boston cream donut!

I didn't really get much chocolate from Bronuts. I ended up adapting the recipe a bit to add CAP Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and it completely changed the flavor for the better, imo. It turned into a chocolate cake donut, which I love.

I guess just different palates hahaha. I feel like I'm getting more chocolate than anything else from it! I was thinking of putting the chocolate donut to about 5% and yellow cake a little higher. Not sure yet though

I had this same problem with the original recipe. I forgot about the test batch I had made for a few weeks and it got a little better, but not much. Would you be willing to share the changes you made?

The last entry in my notebook shows

  • Biscuit 0.75%
  • FW Yellow Cake 3%
  • CAP Chocolate Glazed Donut 5%
  • CAP Chocolate Fudge Brownie 1.5%

I'm sure there are improvements to make, but this should get things going. I removed Joy because typically, cake donuts do not use yeast, and I didn't deem it necessary. Again, YMMV. If you like the yeasty bits of Bronuts, by all means add it in. I never tried it that way.

This definitely looks like a good place to start, thanks. I've always gotten a dark cocoa taste from CFB, so I guess I never thought of adding it

Threw some peanut butter in there too, pretty bomb

Which peanut butter did you use? I've been looking for a solid peanut butter... I'm thinking about adding some coffee into it, just not sure which coffee to order.

Mixing CAP and TFA peanut butter at a 50/50 ratio does the trick for me
