So not a fan of dessert flavored Eliquid =(

Never have been. I have tried HUNDREDS of different flavors. Some of the best stuff out there too that everyone raves about. I mean, for the most part they taste ok, but alot of them I really cant stand the taste. BUT I love dessert lol. As in the REAL DEAL not eliquid.

I have always been a fan of fruity/candy flavor eliquid. When I first started DIY about a year ago I had like 30 flavors, ALL FRUIT. Now I have about 50 total flavors from all kinds of brands, some are desert type flavors because the recipes you guys post sound SO good, but when I make them its just blah. Its not you or the recipe, just my retarded taste buds =(

Anything custard I cant stand. Nope not gunna do peanut butter, or chocolate. Its just so funny looking at all the recipe threads and posts. Id say 75% of them have the word Custard, or Cream in them.

Glad to see the Shake n Vape sub, its pretty slow though. Not very much content. Anyway does anyone on here have ZERO motivation to try Bronutz besides me lol =P

I love dessert, custard, and cream flavors. However, my gf only likes fruits and really sweet flavors. Of course I am her only supply of juice so it's been pretty hard to switch up my style in terms of juice profiles in order to cater to her tastes. I think in a way it's made me a better mixer, though. I've definitely grown to enjoy the recipes I make for her, but whenever I feel like a small percentage of a light cream would benefit her recipes, I go for it. Sometimes she says she likes it and sometimes it's a bit too pronounced and she'll call me out on it. When I want to sneak in a light cream of some sort to give the recipe some body or sweetness, I'll usually go for 0.5-1% of FA Vienna Cream, FA Marshmallow, FA Meringue, TFA Whipped Cream, or sometimes a combination of those four. So, to answer your question, you're definitely not alone.

Its funny because I own quite a bit of the popular flavors, IE: Yellow cake, Bisquit, Danish swirl etc.

For instance, The strawberry shortcake bar recipe, OMG sounds fucking amazing, and I love those things, I could eat a whole box (fat kid yes) but I mixed it up to the exact recipe, even let it steep for 2 weeks. What I thought was cool, is that after one week of steeping the smell of the juice was WAY better, but I seriously didnt notice a damn thing when I vaped it, didnt taste any different. Waited another week, smelled even better, strawberry came out more, it was awesome. Dripped it, vaped it, yea tasted the same as the first day I made it. Just dont like em =(

I'm not gonna try to tell you that you should vape some cream flavors, but maybe try a few of the flavors I listed above in your fruit recipes. Even a fruit recipe with 0.5% FA Marshmallow helps sweeten, give it body/thickness, and it can often take away some harsh notes. It's a great all around flavor. Same goes for Meringue and Vienna Cream. TFA Whipped Cream is a bit different than those three because it adds like a sweet air kind of taste, but needs to be used around 2-3%. Just stick to what you like so that you're happy and don't wast money on extra flavorings.

I hate desserts. They almost NEVER taste like what they say they do, take a huge amount of time to steep to be vapeable, and are all around a pain in the ass.

That being said, Strawberry Cheesecake from White Label (yeah, I mix and purchase) is delightful. Always exceptions to the rule.

Otherwise, I go with fruity and candy flavors. Almost totally vapeable right away, and always delicious. My Cayuga clone is nearly spot on.

Yup the steep time is a downside. I have seen people say they steep juice for up to 6 months! WTF?

For some reason with a lot of recipes creams and custards overwhelm everything else and turn out tasting just bland, sweet and sort of creamy but bland. Same juice tasted deliciously to a friend of mine - so, I guess it's our palates more than anything.

My personal drug is SVB ICC from diyordie. The remix tastes bland ... the original - well, I can't put it down. Both have creams, but the remix has vanilla custard. I think for me the custard, regardless of % just ends up overwhelming everything.

Bronuts just tasted like the "smell" of chocolate doughnuts without the flavor ... if it makes any sense.

Blackout from diyordie on the other hand - fucking awesome.

I prefer dessert to any other profile and will never vape anything with mint or menthol in it. To each their own :p

You're not the only one. I like some, but overall I'm not big on dessert flavors.

I don't have issues with custard or cream flavors in general. Many flavors not labeled as custards or creams still contain those ingredients (for smoothness, mouth feel, etc.).

I'm not a huge fan of custards and creams though, as I really do not like the taste and smell of diacetyl and acetyl proprionyl. So many custard/cream flavors include D/AP that I usually won't buy one without tasting it, or at least smelling it. Same goes for butyric acid, as so many juice makers overuse it--and vomit is not a flavor I'm looking for. I don't mind acetoin quite as much.

I am the exact same way. It sucks because I sell juice to some locals and they are always asking for more desert variety and seem uninterested in what are imo the better candy recipes. Its crazy.

It's difficult to make juice you don't like yourself. I mean, you mix a batch of Grandmas Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, and to you, it tastes like ass. So how can you justify giving/selling it? But your "customers" may like it, who knows?

I tell the guys I mix for that if I don't like the batch, I'm not handing it out. So I basically just do candy and fruit. They get desserts elsewhere.

I get my friends like like flavors I hate to taste test my batches. I can't stand peanut vapes, or chocolate vapes. Also, working on a Jaegerbomb flavor and I despise Jager. They buy the shit, and I like making some extra pocket change, so why not sell them what they want? I'd rather that money find its way into my pocket than the pocket of someone marking up juices astronomical amounts.

Yeah I have a few that I know are pretty spot on, mostly my bananananananana cream pie. I can taste them fine it's just that I can't vape more than like 1/4 a tank before I am super burnt out which makes creating the recipes a HUGE pain. I have a knack for coming up with things that are good but don't really taste like anything in life really so thats also limiting my sales. :\

You are not alone. I can't stand tobacco, cream, or dessert flavors. That leaves me only sweet candy and fruit flavors. Right now I only vape strawberry, Swedish Fish, and the occasional blue raspberry.

You're not alone, I can't stand the custard flavors either. I do however like creams, but my favorites are fruit mixes, sometimes with some creams incorporated. I found recently mixing some of my fruit dominant mixes with a little bit of FA cookie and INW biscuit in order to give it a little more body or dryness and I've been liking that so far. That being said, they're still mostly dominated by fruit notes. I picked up some chocolate a while back and while I've had some interesting mixes come from it, it's nothing I'm every dying to vape again.

I don't like desserts either and I absolutely can't stand caramel flavors, they all seem so fake to me. Sweets flavors are alright, but I get bored of them quickly. I like savory or tobacco flavors best, with clove being my stand by and mount bakers rum tobacco being my favorite juice.

I leaned towards candy and fruit, until I tried a bakery I liked. I hated custard but I still found a custard that was really good.

The fact that flavoring is pretty "cheap", means that I don't have to say I only like a certain flavor profile.

Too many flavors, recipes and talented mixers to say that I have no interest in recipe x.

In regards to Bronuts, don't waste your time with that hype train. I was excited to make it, figured itd be awesome so i made a bunch, smells great, tastes great on the tongue, vape is terrible. Now i have 200-some-odd ml's of this stuff that will most likely end up in a trash bin.

Nope, I can't do it either. I can occasionally go for maybe a cream background, but other than that 99% of what I vape are fruits.

hell no, I really don't understand why everybody is so obsessed with this dessert crap. I mainly mix fruity/-tropical-cocktail style juices myself.
