Been heavy handed with the creams and custards lately and I'm thinking some predominantly fruit flavors are in order. Been playing with Strawberry and peach and im fairly satisfied with latest recipe but it feels like its missing something. It seems best about 5 to 7 stays steep time. Maybe flavors need adjusted or something needs to go, or be added in.
- Strawberry Ripe TFA 8%
- Tangerine CAP 2%
- Peach (Juicy) TFA 2%
- Cheesecake (Graham Crust) TFA 2%
- VBIC TFA 2%
In my opinion, CAP Sweet Tangerine is a bully and shoves its way to the front of anything it's mixed with so I'd eliminate that. I'd also eliminate the CGC. Here's what I'd do given the ingredients you listed:
TFA Strawberry Ripe 6%
TFA Juicy Peach 2%
TFA VBIC 4%
Simple and easy. If you have vanilla swirl maybe add a percent or two of that or some marshmallow. I'm on mobile so I hope the formatting of this is alright.
For a fruit vape, I would personally drop the cheesecake and VBIC and sub in marshallow and a little dragonfruit (it'll sweeten it and lift the strawberry). And maybe lower the strawberry to like 6% and up the peach to maybe 4%.
Anytime I've had peach above 3 it's been overbearing but I'll try it out, see how it goes
Play with TFA Nectarine. Adds a really nice body to the mix and ties everything together. I never use it for just a nectarine flavor, mostly as an additive like I mentioned above. 1% or 2% should 'juice' it up nicely.
I'd agree with the other comment that mentioned dropping VBIC and Chz W/ GC. Dragon fruit also makes fruit flavors pop, and the marshmallow would add to the body.
I know you are trying to steer away from creams but honestly a tiny bit of meringue would probably sit nicely.
I agree with the rest, lose VBIC and Cheesecake, replace tangerine with apricot, and add a sweetener like marshmallow or replace some of the strawberry ripe with sweet strawberry to taste. No steeping required. Also FA White Peach is a very nice peach flavor, might want to add that in :)
I came in to make sure FA White Peach was being used. I like it a lot better than TFA Juicy. The TFA can still be used to fill in the bottom peach notes but the FA WP has a light bright sweetness that I greatly prefer over TFA Juicy, FA Peach, FLV Peach and MF White Peach. The last two are great but when I need peach I still reach past them for the FA WP.
I would also vote for dropping the CGCC and VBIC for the time being. CGCC is a great flavor but it can muddy up fruit mixes pretty badly sometimes. I like a small amount of TFA Pear with my peaches (get ready for peach overload if you're heavy handed with either). I would also drop the S. Ripe to about 5% to make room for 2% of CAP Sweet Strawberry. That will make the Strawberry strong enough to compete in the top end.
Also agreed that CAP Tangerine (assuming Sweet Tangerine) might be too much of a bully. I love the flavor but it tends to boss everyone else into the back yard. FA Mandarin? FLV Orange Citrus?
Random thoughts, I hope any of them are helpful. Good luck!
