Flavorah Chocolate Deutsch
submitted over 9 years ago by marybd841

Let me just start by saying that chocolate flavors have always been a huge letdown for me. I've tried a lot and have been disappointed by pretty much all of them. They never seem to hold up against high heat and always end up tasting burnt to me. When I ordered this flavor I had a few ideas for it but I honestly didn't have very high hopes after being disappointed so many times before with other chocolate flavorings. I am happy to report that this flavor completely blows my mind and I couldn't be happier with it.

For those not familiar, German Chocolate Cake is a pretty common dessert here in America. A rich, dense chocolate cake with caramel filling and coconut icing and its absolutely delicious. This flavor nails EVERY note. A nice chocolate inhale with delicious, gooey cake on the exhale.

The chocolate is fantastic and it can withstand the heat. No burnt taste whatsoever. My only complaint is that the chocolate does seem a little on the weak side. It is definitely there but I only really notice it on the inhale and would like for it to stay through the exhale as well. Still the best chocolate I've tried thus far.

The cake note in this flavoring is incredible. Flavorah was able to replicate the extremely dense and gooey mouthfeel of real cake. This is what I so desperately wanted FW yellow cake and CAP Cake Batter to be. If they would sell this note as a single flavoring I would stock up. I can only imagine how good it would be to compliment other cake-type recipes.

The coconut is there but it is very subtle and doesn't overshadow the chocolate or cake notes.. Just a light coconut flavor that helps sweeten up the flavoring a bit and add an extra touch of creaminess.

I don't usually post flavor reviews because I'm pretty terrible at describing things. However, this flavoring really impressed me and since I haven't seen much about it on here, I felt that I had to share. I've been in a bit of a DIY slump for a while and this flavor has helped bring the creativity back. I have a few ideas that i'm eager to try out. Now if only Flavorah would release the chocolate and cake flavors used to make this individually, I would be oh so happy.

If they were trying to name it after me, it's spelled douche.

Nice review, will have to try it! Percentages?

2% for single mix, max VG was plenty for me. Perfect as a shake and vape too. Definitely doesn't need steeping though I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

I made that last night. Its fantastic! I made another variation with a little NY Cheesecake and coconut candy. Im letting that steep as the cheesecake flavor really requires it.

Your german chocolate cake link is showing me the gif of the puppy slipping on the hardwood floor FYI. Good description though!

Yeah 2% is good, maybe even 2.5%.

I'm going to do this when I get home tomorrow and report back. Hoping this isn't another 10% honey mistake.

I have this flavor and my first thought was that the chocolate faded too fast so I was thinking of a splash of CAP Double Chocolate.

Did you ever figure this out? I had a recipe mixed up that was wonderful for about 3 days then, the chocolate died off and you couldn't really taste it. I mixed it at 1.75%. I'm tasting a single flavor at 3% now to see if the flavor will hang around. I REALLY want this to workout.

Actually, no. I never went back down that path.

INW Cherries is really good with it also, but am I the only one that gets a massive throat hit with it?

No throat hit issues with it for me, even at 40/60 when used @ 2-3%

Huh, that's weird. I've been having to mix it at 4mg instead of my usual 6mg. No throat issues even after a shake and vape?

was talking flavor percentage not nicotine...but no, none. May be an issue with your nic or your taste buds? /shrug
