The purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a flavor and it's many uses.
We're not just looking for you to post recipes you have containing the flavor of the week, but looking for you to share your process as you develop a new juice using the flavor of the week.
This should help us all to better understand how certain flavors interact, and give us all a launching point to perhaps discovering new wonderful recipes. Please post new recipes created using this flavor as well as any and all tasting notes as main posts. Thought process is encouraged also.
This thread will NOT be in contest mode so the best flavors and reviews of those should move their way towards the top.
While I definitely encourage you to branch out with this flavor and use some more rare flavors, I would encourage everyone to keep it in mind that others will not be able to try your recipe and comment or offer assistance if they do not have the flavors you are using. I would also encourage you to use this week's flavor as the "main" flavor in your recipe although this is not required.
You BETTER sample and offer tasting notes on your recipe. Good luck to everyone!
This Week's Flavor is: CEREAL
Unlike in the previous monthly contest thread, I am NOT limiting this to any specific flavor from any specific vendor. After all, our goal here is to come up with perhaps some unique uses of the weekly flavor or combinations others may not have thought of before. This should allow for maximum participation as well!

3.5% FW fruit rings
2.5% FA cream fresh
2.5% CAP sugar cookie (v1)
2% TFA sweet cream
1.5% TFA Rice Krispies (rice Crunchies?)
1.5% TFA berry crunch
1% FA meringue
Alright guys, here it is!
This is my juice that has my friends coming back for more and more. I'm well past this flavor profile, but I STILL keep this in rotation just to change it up. It's an unarguably delicious juice. Let's get started here:
I want to start by showing the FW fruit rings. Man, this stuff is good. I am an ex-TFA fruit circle user. I've made it work in recipes, sure, but this is the real deal. No lemon pledge. A much, much more rounded out and complex flavor with more depth than a can of pledge.
I use a combination of FA cream fresh, TFA sweet cream and FA meringue for the cream base. It all adds up to a realistic, sweet bowl of milk closer to what you expect to find after pouring the last of the cereal box in there. For me, FA meringue is absolutely the most realistic for that sugar coating everyone loves.
For the cereal aspect, this is where stuff gets tricky. You have the great cream and flavoring from the fruit rings, but as mentioned, without the rice Krunchies or sugar cookie, the juice misses a LOT of depth. Berry Crunch also gives you some of that perfect sweetened toastyness. The rice krunchies gives you that spot on taste that's missing from underneath the loops, and the sugar cookie just rounds it all up to that insanely familiar taste.

I hope you guys enjoy this one :-)
This looks promising. Will order the recipes and report back. Thanks dude!
I just mixed this up as I've been sitting on a bottle of FW Fruit Rings for quite some time and hadn't even cracked it open. As soon as I opened the bottle, the scent was extremely familiar to me. I had just finished going through 100ml of Centerfold's Sammie and FW Fruit Rings is most certainly the main flavor of Sammie. After whipping up your recipe and vaping it, it is very similar to Sammie with slightly more bready cereal taste and less sweetness. Really good stuff!
Just whipped this up and I have to say it's great! I subbed out sugar cookie for yellow cake as I just don't get on well it. My only critique would be that the lemon note is a bit "soft", if that makes any sense? I think this mix would be better with a sharper/zingier/candy lemon note, any ideas what concentrates I could use as a replacement / accompaniment to the Fruit rings?
Just thought, you could try somewhere around .5% FE Lemon.
edit: start at .5% and adjust for taste. I'm actually goat my to try this myself as I did note the lemon is slightly soft and FE lemon has just that lemon head flavor we seem to be talking about.
I've been revisiting cereals a lot lately. I know most people here burned out on Tongue Fucked and Cereal Killer in 2014, but I came to really enjoy the challenge of working with TFA Berry Crunch. It's serendipitous that this should be the flavor topic of this week, because as of this morning I believe I've mastered it!
I'll share my thoughts on Berry Crunch specifically here, and if you'd like more of my flavor notes you'll find them in my post for Snozzberry Cereal.
Berry Crunch is one of the weirdest flavors out there, and it can be hard to pair with other flavors. At worst it tastes like mushrooms and at best it tastes like chemical berries. For a long time here the conventional wisdom was that it was best at 10%, which is just before it starts to hit the mushroom threshold. If you want Chocolate Truffles I'd suggest 12% Berry Crunch and all of the chocolate flavors from MF. If you want berry cereal, you need to make peace with the fact that cereal flavors are often artificial and chemical. At just 5% you get that sweet spot of slightly artificial flavoring found in sugary cereals. 1% Dragon Fruit is helpful in pulling out the berry in Berry Crunch. Just a splash of Strawberry (TPA) adds a slightly different berry quality that goes well with the Berry crunch berry. Do not use too much Strawberry or it will overpower the Berry Crunch, and do not use Strawberry (Ripe) with this at all! Berry Crunch does not get along with many flavors and Ripe in particular will take it into a muddy-earthy realm of suck. Many cereal vapes use meringue, and to some great success, but it will overpower delicate notes in Berry Crunch at even very low percentages.
As somebody that jumped on the Tongue Fuck wagon just last week, I hate you for making me try something else, and order more flavors (and now I remember that I'm nearly out of VG and Nic, DAMMIT)
Tongue Fucked is fun to pull out every once in awhile! Open that shit way up and let the flavor clouds consume you from the inside out!
I highly disagree. Captivape Strawberry Cereal uses berry crunch and strawberry ripe and its one of the best juices ive ever had.
Are you certain of their flavorings? I don't see the recipe posted anywhere to check. You can get some high amounts of Strawberry to play nice with Berry Crunch. I'd be very surprised with them putting in much Strawberry (Ripe) with it though, at least enough to call it a "Strawberry Cereal".
Shoutout FW Fruity Flakes
I bought this a little while ago and can't quite figure out what to do with it, but it tastes amazing. How would you use it? I'm thinking meringue and a little yellow cake and sugar cookie of course, but I don't know how well this one would go with your cereal milks - which I do love and have used as a base before. Any suggestions?
I have been using /u/The_Perrycox cereal recipe here. Great light flavor. Really enjoying link
Would it be possible to release the flavor/theme of the week a few days early, so that folks (like me) can order flavors? If I order right now, by the time it gets here, I'll only have a couple of days for experimentation...
Might as well copy this into the FOW thread -
I like building cereals from the ground up, I have a lot more flexibility and find that I'm able to arrive at more authentic profiles that way.
Rice cereal is pretty difficult, just because of how elusive "rice flavor" can be. My strategy was to leverage flavors with appreciable 2-Acetyl-1-pyrroline/2-acetyl pyrrole content to bolster that note, as well as other generic non specific bready/nutty flavors to fill out something of a discernible rice flavor.
Fast forward after many sugary cereal bars, I identified the fruit flavors I wanted emphasized. Not quite gummy but artificial, in your face fruit flavors is the play here. Strawberry dominant (80% of the taste), with mainly a blueberry undertone. Notes of candy apple and grape can also be identified, so we're going need a pinch of those as well.
I'm a little burnt out on bottom of the bowl cereal tastes, so I figured why not make a cereal bar.
In any case lets get started with the recipe:
Fruity Pebbles Cereal Bar:
- FA Marshmallow 1.50%
- FA Meringue 1.00%
- FLV Vanilla Custard 1.00%
- TFA Vanilla Swirl 0.50%
- CAP Buttercream 1 drop/10ml
- TFA Strawberry Ripe 4.00%
- FLV Strawberry 0.50%
- FLV Blueberry 0.50%
- FLV Green Apple ~0.20% (1 drop/10ml)
- INW Grape 1 drop/15ml
- FLV Coconut 1 drop/30ml
- CAP Sugar Cookie 2.00%
- FA Walnut 0.40%
- FA Licorice 1drop/10ml
- Acetyl Pyrazine 10% 1drop/30ml
- Sweetener of choice to taste, totally optional
Break down of the flavor -
The "rice" element of the cereal comes from the 2-Acetyl-1-pyrroline/2-acetyl pyrrole in walnut/licorice/cookie. Walnut's nuttiness, combined with the buttery bready taste of cap sugar cookie and a little help from licorice's sweetness gives you ultra refined cereal rice.
Cereal bar is basically just marshmallow + butter + dried cereal, so we don't want to go heavy on cream, more so on mouthfeel and sweetness, letting the fruits flavor and sweetness stay in your face. FA Marshmallow is the most distinctly jet puff, commercial marshmallow type flavor so we're making that the star. Meringue boosts the flavor of marshmallow, and then together with a little help from custard and swirl, you get gooey sweet marshmallow flavor with big body. A little butter flavor from buttercream and coconut takes it over the edge helps balance it all out.
As described earlier, we want in your face artificial/candy type fruit flavor. We're keeping FLV Strawberry at 0.50 to avoid the jammy note and just the sweetness, as well as to help Strawberry Ripe pop out a little bit as we want to emphasize strawberry flavor. At the same time, it needs a bit more fruity depth to achieve the same authenticity as the cereal. FLV Blueberry provides the candy blueberry flavor, as well as their green apple for a little candy apple. FA Fuji won't work here. As a final note a little candy grape flavor ramps up the sweetness and ties together a pretty authentic fruity pebbles cereal taste. We are using a really tiny hint of coconut for its creaminess and butter, as well as to mimic the incredibly subtle flavor in the cereal from how its made with the hydrogenated oil.
Ultimately. I'm quite satisfied with the effort. The rice note is present and the fruity profile is pretty on point with how I taste fruity pebbles. I recommend letting it sit for at least a couple days to really come together, though it still delivers as a shake and vape. I don't recommend substitutions, the flavors chosen were for highly specific purposes and roles in the profile.
Have a nice weekend!

Oh I'm so excited.
My only experience is with making a Looper clone. Too much fruit hoops and that over powering lemon taste. Near unvapeable.
Would love to find more "basic" cereal mixes.
Any Honey bunches of oats recipes? Or raisin bran?
http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/cheerios-honey-nut/
Ive never had this myself. But it's a start.
I've had Cheerios, and love it. But I'm after those little nut clusters in HB of Oats. I'm thinking maybe a trail mix recipe might get me there rather than cereal....?
And raisin bran might be rough. Because raisin is pretty difficult. And raisin bran isn't very sweet..
I have been doing to get my hands on an apple jacks and a cinnamon toast crunch flavor. Every time I have tried I can never get the right tastes. Never the right apple and the cinnamon toast crunch ends up tasting like a cinnamon roll.
Also, I've heard a lot of talk about a milk stone recipe but haven't found anything online. Anyone got the recipe handy?
I recently made a
- FLV cinnamon crunch 4
- FLV cream 1.5
- FLV rich cinnamon 2 drops/30 ml
Thing that was really good.
Edit: switch the FLV cream for FA Catalan at same percentage, it's even better.
I don't have FLV cream. Any substitutes?
FA Catalan Cream is good here, I like 2% with the Cinnamon Crunch at 5%. FA Vienna Cream worked too but I preferred the Catalan for this.
Tried it with FLV Milk & Honey but that adds a chocolatey flavour that can dampen/ overwhelm the cinnamon crunch....still working on a mix with that.
No specifics for a recipe for you but cinnamon toast crunch is heavy on the brown sugar side rather than cinnamon side. Try using brown sugar from tfa with less cinnamon. Also, although not super complex, cinnamon crunch from FLV isn't half bad just by itself.
As for apple jacks I had a fairly close one that I enjoyed for a bit that used fa apple pie, fa Fuji/inw two apples, and cinnamon Ceylon along with meringue and fw hazelnut. I can't for the life of me remember the recipe, I haven't made it in a while. I need to try creating it again.
Nothing to add unfortunately but I'm looking forward to reading what people have to share. I haven't managed to knock up a nice cereal vape yet so hopefully this thread will help!
White Lambo
- TFA Silly Rabbit 5%
- TFA Bav Cream 3%
- TFA Vanilla Swirl 2%
- FA Meringue 2%
- CAP Graham Cracker v1 3%
- FA Joy 1%
- TFA Captain Cereal 2%
- INWA Biscuit .75%
- CAP Super Sweet 1%
This still needs an adjustment or two, but I already love it and want to share.
To me this tastes like a complex vanilla pudding with graham cracker crumbs and crushed up Trix Cereal swirled into the pudding.
Might as well share the (somewhat sad) backstory on this. I made a similar flavor to this and LOVED it. It was the first flavor I had made that I knew without any doubt that people would buy. I had one cashier smell it and immediately said "That smells super yummy. I wanna buy it."
I vaped all 30ml in no time at all and when I went back to my documents to make it again, there was no sign of it. I'm a senior systems engineer and I know my computers.. that file was gone. I must not have saved it and there were no temps/unsaved docs to recover. I was even going to send it to /u/Enyawreklaw to get his feedback.
This is as close as I've come to recreating it. It's close, but missing some body/pudding/hope. If you make adjustments that improve the flavor, please send them my way!
Anyone have any experience with Flavorah's Tricks flavor? Their site isn't selling 15ml bottles yet, and despite dropping hints in the comments of my last order, I didn't get a sample.
I noticed Bull City is getting ready to stock it, but I think the inclement weather has bitched that up for the moment.
I've noticed a few notes about it being a good standalone, just curious if anyone's worked it into a larger recipe since Christmas.
Hey. It looks like BCV is ready to go with it. If you've had the FLV crunch cereal, I seem to taste that in the tricks flavor. I've only done a single mix at 2% but I'm not impressed so far. It's like crunch cereal with some light fruity notes to me.
Nice! When I checked this morning, BCV was still pending, so, thanks for that.
For what it's worth, most of the single mixes I've seen are at 3.5% so, maybe that might help?
In any case, I'm desperate for a change from TFA "Fruit Circles", which, everyone says tastes like Lemon Pledge, but, to me, tastes like vaping the synthetic hair off of a Strawberry Shortcake doll. Specifically; Lemon Pie.
