This past summer I got a bottle of nic to tide me over. This was during the hottest peak of a hot summer. After the nicotine spent a lot of time in the heat being transported across the country, it was a little worse for wear. Nothing terrible, just some slight discoloration and not super pristine and nice like the stuff I got last winter.
So this winter I decided to stock up!
This is truly clear vaping coming from Vape Clarity! http://i.imgur.com/8SROSGM.jpg
Good advice. No drama here.
I live in Indonesia where its hot all the time and all the nic i buy comes discoloured and slightly brown.
Advice checks out
Could just be the suppliers here though
Is vaping getting big in Indonesia? I worked with some Europeans and Australians this year and they had never even heard of vaping outside of Blu style e-cigs. They said for the first couple of days they thought I was hitting hash oil and getting really stoned all day -_-
European (Brit) here. Your experience with Europeans isn't the norm. More advanced kit is less common than ego type devices (which seem to be much more common than cig-a-likes) but I don't think many of us, except perhaps some of the older generation, would think you are doing anything illegal.
It's really catching on over here in Australia, we even gotta sub for it: /r/AussieVapers. Hell there was 5 people including myself at the bus stop today wen I was heading in to work, and three of us were vaping. Even started comparing mods!
Thing is though, it's legal to import Nic, but illegal to sell it here in Australia, which is a pain in the arse.
Had to laugh when I found out the Nicotine I've been importing from NZ is actually made two suburbs away from me in Melbourne. Make it here, send it there, send it back over here. Stupid Aussie Government.
Thank you for the kind words Discchord.
I understand that this comment will do very little in assuaging the critics of vendors planting sleeper agent usernames in Reddit, waiting to activate to generate positive publicity. I can assure everyone that this is not the case. The OP is not affiliated with VapeClarity, nor did the OP receive any benefits or kickbacks in any way. All the OP received was a thank you email. It is simply one person thanking another.
Quoting from Marlowefire, "Good advice. No drama here."
I've gotten two 250ml bottles of VG nic in a row from an unnamed source...that have been terribly harsh.
I complained, respectfully, about the first and the second was shipped gratis. It, too, was bad. Have had to dilute from 5mg/ml to 2.5mg/ml to make them consumable. The upshot: I have cut down on my nic.
I have to wonder if the (then, 2 and 4 weeks ago) weather had anything to do with the quality?
Been on the fence about starting the whole DIY journey, but this is as good a reason as ever to order it now... That and the $0.55/ml tax we now have here in Chicago. You can keep it in the freezer and just take out nic as you need right?
Correct! I personally split this .5L into 4 120mL glass bottles (and use the remainder). I then put those into the freezer with lots of helpful labeling to indicate that this is poison I am storing. Be sure to keep them in individual ziplock bags so that moisture will accumulate and freeze on the bag and not the glass.
I keep one active 120mL bottle out at room temperature in a cupboard. I have never noticed any drop in nic strength from keeping 120mL out for 6 months, and it is so much can easier to work with at room temperature.
It's counterproductive to write up PSAs that sound like advertisements.
Check the post history. Dudes been posting in this sub for a while and clearly has no relation to the company. Why be a dick?
Yeah, but the problem there is the amount of old, trusted accounts on ECR that have become shill accounts. I'm not saying it's hit this subreddit yet, but user trends have a tendency to spread from ECR to here within a few months.
this is the dude you're defending:
"I was curious about this too so I experimented! I left the 120mL Vape Clarity 100mg PG sample in its original plastic bottle. It is HDPE, stored in a cupboard. The nic hasn't discolored and seems to retain its potency since June. "

A nice one to start us off and to his credit the ONLY other mention of Vape Clarity I could find in < 1 month old comments
"No.
I was exactly as much of an abrasive dick-bag as this marketeer wananbe deserved. He's obviously either not even a vaper, or a super new one, looking to cash in on the hype. He's at least two years too late and he comes in here with this shit? I am a "DIY Expert" and I am offended by this."

You're in luck, I'm a DIY expert and can help you out.
Find or create a fire.
Die in it.
Maybe you should know anything about the business you want to B2B with, before posting this fucking nonsense?"

"Can we all just take a minute to say Fuck You to /u/disambiguated for reposting an article that is over a year old and says nothing?
When you try to post a link that has already been reposted a dozen times, Reddit gives you a warning about it. It even lists all of the times it has been reposted. But OP thought:
"Nah, gotta repost! Reddit is just like Facebook! Fuck everyone, but especially fuck any rational discussion when I have outdated dubious information to support my position."
No, sir, fuck you."

So yeah...
I'm unsubbing from this community now, this'll come as absolutely no loss to yourself or the community but honestly, watching everybody rally around such an elitist little shithead who time and time again flamed people for being too new? Nah man, I'm out. I think I misjudged you guys.....
Actually just one last one cause it's my favorite:
"My -10 down votes states only that this sub has been flooded with the same know-it-all mouth-breathers that dragged ECR into the pit. You are actually arguing with someone who has done the research, run countless experiments over the course of the last year, and was trying to provide some helpful insight to this ungrateful lot that perpetuates misinformation with an alacrity that can only be beat by Facebook.
But please do go on...
Nana cream 3mg thanks " https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/3uotjd/you_cant_steep_juice_forever_unless/cxh6kf2

Ooooooooh that sweet sweet TFA Irony (If you want to know how it tastes, ask him! He's done the research!)
I'm a bot, bleep, bloop. Someone has linked to this thread from another place on reddit:
- [/r/subredditdrama] Drama breaks out in r/DIY_ejuice when a user is accused of being elitist and a corporate shill.

It's also counterproductive to treat every subreddit like ECR with snark and terminal cynicism.
I have no relation to Vape Clarity, other than getting their free sample they gave everyone here back in May/June. If you'd have been here then, or indeed any time prior to the 12 days you have been commenting here, you wouldn't be insinuating that.
No, he does have a point.
>This is truly clear vaping coming from Vape Clarity! http://i.imgur.com/8SROSGM.jpg[1]
sounds a lot like an ad.
Also, the body of your post sounds more like ECR than his response. Almost every juice review is from a paid account or the poster was given free juice in return for a good review. The shill is smothering.
Eat a bag of ~~dicks~~ TFA Honey, Skiddlz.
I'm a writer, so I like to play around with words and rearranging them. It's the sort of thing writers do all the time to keep themselves entertained. I can't believe I've got 3 people jumping on me for my fucking writing style. I genuinely thought this would be a helpful tip for new mixers. I'm not saying anyone should buy from Vape Clarity, but I wanted to illustrate that one of the less popular vendors here was providing the goods.
>counterproductive to treat every subreddit like ECR with snark and terminal cynicism
Proceeds to be a snarky bastard.
Good job making your point! It's a shame you don't represent Vape Clarity, what with the brilliant display you're putting on....
BTW I've been posting here for over 3 months, is that long enough to point out what a shitpost this is? Or should I come back later? Good job making the new guy feel like we're not a bunch of elitists... Perhaps you should heed your own advice?
EDIT: Turns out you make a habit of being rude to people who are new? Very nice, gotta make sure those newbs stay in their place right? god forbid they disturb your precious sub, what with their idiotic misconceptions and dumb questions. That really irks you huh?
That's my point, mr. condescending. I'm saying that redacting PSAs like advertisements is counterproductive because it creates mistrust where there shouldn't be any, and vendors end up taking the hit in their credibility. It's kind of like saying thank you on a public forum about that amazingly generous thing that one vendor sent your way; it's nice to say thanks, but it gives people the wrong idea as to what expect in the future from that vendor, and puts a lot of pressure on them.
