OK... this one makes me nervous as hell to release as it is still a VERY popular flavor, but again, it's an experiment to see what will happen. Common sense side of me says nothing will happen, but the businessman side of me says "What are you thinking!" but here goes everything.
White Gremlin
10% Vanilla Cupcake - TPA
8% Strawberry (Ripe) - TPA
2% White Chocolate - FW
That's really it. Let this recipe answer the age old question "What makes a juice "premium" and not just DIY. The answer in my book is... nothing. My personal opinion is if there are too many flavors it starts to taste weird. Keep it simple! Even in THIS recipe, the white chocolate isn't really needed. The Strawberry (Ripe) can be swapped out with ANY strawberry flavor that you like... please use my recipes as a suggestion and not written in stone. Take it and make it your own! Add a touch of Banana Cream to it, or maybe some toasted marshmallow. The most important ingredient you can add to a recipe is to have fun while you're making it!
Now, do me a favor and when you want to make this, remember that the Gremlins have all these flavors in stock as well as the final mix if you don't want to make it all yourself. If your friends like it, let them know where they can buy it. :)
LMAO Well... That didn't take long. I just looked at the orders and the ones placed in the last half hour all have White Chocolate and Vanilla Cupcake in the order. I'm sure it's just a coincidence. PLEASE use coupon code "king" for 10% off this weekend.
And remember - no mail this upcoming Monday!
I was thisclose to posting a clone request right here for this an hour ago.
I'll be a dick, tho, and ask for what your percentages were during the engineering stages.
Where did you start, what did you drop, how tight are your percentage changes, and what PG/VG do you engineer at initially?
Also any concentrate % changes for different PG/VG levels?
As soon as I posted the Pegasus recipe I knew I had to. The dick move on MY part would be to release a recipe that could ONLY be made from GJ flavorings... Good marketing, but not what I intended at all.
All the flavors that have a color in the name (Blue Gremlin, White Gremlin, Etc.) are the original flavors I created in 2012. My process then as it is now is to mix like I cook. I know what all the ingredients taste like, so much like working in the kitchen, I knew I wanted a cake with strawberry filling, so take the cake, and add strawberry until it tastes good, add a touch of white chocolate for sweetness and variety but not enough to identify and it tasted good so I stopped there.
On the juice side of the business, Josh has 16 and 32 ounce bottles of these mixes that are made by weight so they are the same today as they were last week, last month, last year. I am a stickler when it comes to staying consistent. I want someone that hasn't had a bottle in a year to be able to buy a bottle now and it should taste exactly like they remember.
So, percentage changes shouldn't exist. Every bottle that goes out has 20% flavoring. We did experiment years ago with adding more flavor to high VG and less with high PG, but after making a lot of bottles to test, it didn't make enough difference to worry about. But then at 20% flavor it should be fine either way. The PG/VG the was originally based on was 50/50. When this was created, 6 to 12mg nic and 50/50 was the normal juice... I'm not sure if that's what you meant by that part of the question.
Another recipe will follow, and it is one that Josh created. I haven't been in the mix room for a very long time! Josh has been with me from the start and I am fine with making sure everyone knows that he is the master at mixing at Gremlin Juice.
I hope this answered what you were asking... now I'm curious how many posts are going to be there after spending 15 minutes typing this! LOL
Awesome reply! Hit all the points, thanks a ton.
Just dropped a second order with you folks today moments ago for a bundle of DIY stuff. As a show of appreciation.
God damn I love you. I also noticed your Harvest Berries flavor has a very similar smell to FW Cloud 9. Haven't mixed it yet though. Curious to see if posting the recipe affects the juice / concentrate sales in any way.
Hey! Welcome back! Haven't seen you in a while.
Welcome back Dada! I did a double take to make sure I hadn't stumbled onto an old thread when I saw your name. I'm so glad your mom got the ISP bill paid!
Fantastic! When I share this ejuice with my friends I will let them know where this recipe came from! They will have to buy some to compare. ;) I agree with keeping it simple, most of my favorite vapes are 1-4 flavor mixes, unfortunately mostly recipes that take at least a one week steep.
I think this is awesome, in fact, this makes me want to buy from you even more (but usally I am financially not able to)
I can come home and make a burger, make it EXACTLY how I want, I can even make it just like the restaurant that I like... but I still go out to the restaurant to get it. I feel juice would be the same way.
keep up the awesome work, and the next time I can afford to buy online, you will be the first site I pull up. your stuff is really good.
Im hoping this experiment goes well, I am hoping to figure out how you make grem melon juice (not balls, just grem melon juice)
Honestly this sounds really good I don't have anything except straw ripe and I don't know what i'd use the other 2 for
If anything this makes me want to pick up a bottle to try it
I do this with the big clone recipes I haven't tried either
Edit: Doesn't ship to the UK RIP.
Thanks anyways /u/gremlinjuice if I ever pick up the ingredients I'll give it a blast :)
I just bought some tfa white chocolate, any chance I can sub it in?
Absolutely! It was created with FW as that is what I was using at the time. TPA is just as good, and if you like that brand better, then it will be better for you. ;) The Cupcake and Strawberry are brand important, but the chocolate is just for that hint of flavor, so I would definitely try TPA if that's what you have.
My friend and I have started ordering our flavoring products from you guys. I'm impressed that you did this! Thanks for helping the community out and I'll continue to recommend you guys (espec for DIY stuff).
PS. This was my favorite flavor of yours, but I would have probably never ordered it again. Looking forward to mixing some up.
Thanks for sharing this. It's been an ADV for me. After vaping 60ml, I decided to try adding some French Vanilla. I mixed the recipe exact, but included 1% of DIY Flavor Shack French Vanilla. It added some subtle vanilla and sweetness. Loving it. BTW....I already had all of the flavors to mix this and I still have enough for maybe another 120mls, but to thank you for sharing, I will purchase my next order for the ingredients from you.
