Making a soda inspired vape
submitted over 9 years ago by HealerIRL

OK so my question is this, I have the flavorings I want thanks to the very handy sidebar recommendations, but is there a way to make a vape feel bubbly? I saw something about using a champange flavor, but not very sure. Thank you for any information that you may have.

Haven't tried it, but I always hear champagne recommended for a bubbly effect

It does have a grape flavour to it tho. Sometimes it can be masked. Other times you need to account for it, and use it in the profile.

What percentages of flavours would you recommend for a cola flavour with champagne?

Start with 3 - 5% since you are doing a soda vape.

The idea here is to get that fizzy, bubbly taste without compromising the base note of your soda flavor (grape, mountain dew, cream soda etc.)

So...

I would start with something like this:

  • TPA Soda flavoring of choice - 8 or 10%
  • TPA Champagne - 3,4 or 5%
  • TPA Sucralose - 0.5 or 1%

FA Cola, TFA Citrus Punch (Mt. Dew), and TFA Champagne to me have a bubbly effect already included in them. If your soda is lemon-lime flavored or has a lemon-lime element to it I will highly recommend Citrus Punch, if its fruity use Champagne and if a cola use FA Cola.

The soda I am looking to replicate does have a lemon/lime accent to it so this should work great. Is the citrus punch sweet at all? Jus asking to see if I need to add any sucrlose to the mix to give a little sweetness.

It's pretty sweet on its own.

Thank you for the quick responses. Do you know how much percent wise I should use?

Also, depending on what flavor you're going for, FA Cola is fizzy awesomeness. Throw in a little FA Black Cherry. Yammeh.

try a very light amount of menthol...less than 1%.

a few drops normally works for me (in a 30ml batch)

Are you just messing with OP?

I think he meant a few drops of koolada. I use FA cola and a few drops of koolada to give it a cool sensation.

mm even koolada is very icy though. I could not personally classify it as bubbly at all. Definitely to each their own though :)

not at all, thanks for the downvote

Menthol makes your vape feel bubbly? I didn't downvote you, btw.

Recommend Koolada over Menthol. When you sip soda, it's a subtle chill, not an in-your-face one.
