I've been wanting to do it and have done a little research but nothing hardcore and this put me over the edge. Is their nicotine high quality? From what I've read some places are really expensive but also very HQ but probably out of my price range especially with just starting out.
20% off you can get a liter of UnFlavored Nicotine E-Liquid Base for $24 from 24-200mg.
Then I see UnFlavored Nicotine E-Liquid Base 24mg to 100mg for $66 dollars. It really confused me but the only difference is I guess this one is in an amber bottle where the other one is in a container. I don't understand that price difference.
I know that there's calculators out that and I have one, but there's no point of messing with it until I know what I'm doing. I've read that 100mg is nice because it's easier with the math, but should I just go with 200mg as I take it it would last me longer as I wouldn't have to use as much to get the desired results? And a quick check the sidebar type of question, I'm going for 70/30 VG/PG and this nicotine has options, so I take it the best is to go with their 75/25 VG/PG as that would save some of the PG/VG that I buy separately, or is it best to go straight 100% VG nic and then work that way.
Edit: For PG/VG essentialdepot is so much cheaper with their 50% option than myfreedom with 5 quarts (4.7L) for $32.
Last they have a big DIY kit that you can customize: https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/nicotine-mixing-supplies/other-mixing-supplies/diy-mixing-starter-kit.html
I'm dumping the syringes and plastic bottles as I can get them cheaper but do I need everything else on that list? Or things that I need that's not on there? Thanks for your help and I'm off to the sidebar so I won't be one of those people again, but only posting here for the first time so maybe you guys could save some $$$
Hello! Just wanted to swing on in here and touch on a subject that we have encountered within the past 24hrs.
Unfortunately there was a technical glitch with our store software that affected the “Unflavored Nicotine E-Liquid Base – 1-Liter Container” products. It incorrectly caused the 200mg strength option to show as available for purchase to retail consumers as well as all nicotine strengths to be charged the incorrect price of $30 per liter. The correct current pricing is below:
24mg - $30 per liter 36mg - $30 per liter 48mg - $35 per liter 60mg - $40 per liter 100mg - $50 per liter 200mg - $90 per liter
Also, we are unable to offer 200mg strengths to retail customers as it can only be sold to wholesale customers with a valid liability waiver on file. Customers that have ordered the 200mg nicotine have been contacted so we can get their order corrected; but we must stress that we CANNOT send out the 200mg nicotine at this moment and we will not falsely label our product so we can ship it out.
I thought it was odd as I didn't see 200mg any place else. I've ordered from you guys for years and you literally pushed me over the edge with doing DIY once I saw that, so thank you.
I might be the sole reason why you're still going strong as I bought so many airflow controllers from you: https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/air-flow-controller-w-510-thread.html - Those are the best things ever and has saved so many threads as my Vamo V1 is still alive and kicking that I still use everyday but it's so rare to find them as they might not look cool but I'd rather have a perfectly threaded tank/rda and mod than a device with a battery wrap to go along with a nice fancy sleeve that matches the dripper that doesn't fire.
I don't know about LB's quality, so I'm only going to focus on one part of this. It's not a great idea to get nic solution at a concentration higher than 48mg/mL unless you're doing a high volume operation. 36mg/mL is great to start with, and is what I still use. It allows enough room for error when mixing, and if it gets on your skin you should be just fine.
As far as calculators go, ELR has a great one! The sidebar will also have several others. Best of luck, mate!
I buy 100mg/ml 100% PG and I'm not running a high volume operation. Just keep your nic in a glass bottle in the freezer, it'll last a whole lot longer
Ditto. I do 100mg/ml-100% PG-glass bottle stored in my freezer, transferring only as much as I need for a mixing session. Why it's not a good idea going over 48mg is totally beyond me. Been mixing for over a year now but no high volume, just myself and a few friends. No issues whatsoever. But 100mg does require a bit more caution obviously.
Jesus Christ, $1.50ea for 30ml unicorn dropper bottles?
Ouch. nudenicotine.com 120ml amber glass bottles are the same price.
The flavor concentrate selection at MFS sucks, and is a few cents more per mL than other vendors I've purchased from. If you're getting a good discount, go for it.
I spent maybe 16 hours straight now hopping from one place to another to pick up supplies. The bottles were the worst by a mile. This wasn't fun as I'm a perfectionist so it took me forever to get the best items and I'm so worn out with just your basic supplies and not even at the flavoring part yet.
VT for Nic
liquidbarn for pg/vg and 2 bottles
amazon for scale, 12 30ml glass bottles, those 100 measuring things
bullcity for other bottles and I think some protection gloves
ecig for something
I haven't added it up but I'm sure I'm over $100 now.
Then it starts all over again with flavoring, but hopefully I can find one place like bull and just get it over with at one place.
