Scale work has been progressing, but slowly as I learn more about how professional scale firmware is designed, and find ways to improve it. One important lesson for you all : Digital scales lie. It's all about teaching the software how to make those lies consistent.
If anyone is really good at Fourier transforms, maybe I could bend your ear. The new load of hardware is in hand, and it's looking promising, but I still need to develop a better design for my ADC, noise reduction isn't a high enough priority for the stuff I'm running into.
Echoing the slow work on the hardware side, the software side has seen a big leap. I've now got an (android only, iOS we'll figure out later) app in limited beta - even before the scale integration is available, it's a pretty useful app.
I could use some more people interested in testing it. If you have a google play account and want to give it a spin and provide feedback, send me a PM with your details, and I'll sign you up for the beta.

I have experience with FFT, DCT, and wavelets, but in the context of image processing and compression. I also have access to people expert in Kalman filters. Can you elaborate on what you need help with? Don't know if I can help, but would love to know the issues you're encountering.
