Marshmallow (all of them)- I use a 3:2:1 ratio of FA:CaP:TFA because I feel like FA has that amazing mouthfeel and CaP has that authentic very sweet Marshmallow flavor and TFA is just nice but it needs the FA to round it out. I use this in my MKB (Marshmallow kiwi berry) at 2.3% and its amazing especially after a steep, it has that lucky charm marshmallow flavor and a full bodied mouth feel.

Blueberry FW- I didn't discover its potential until recently. Normally FW flavors are just average and trumped by TFA or FA. I tried so hard with the TFA blueberries and even FLV and INW. Bilberry FA has always been great but I really liked to use it just to enhance other berries. But recently I made a Blueberry custard with this at 7.8% and .5% Bilberry FA and it is just such an authentic berry flavor. All my customers are loving it.

BlackBerry TFA- I've had some bad memories with this flavor and it ruined a lot of my older berry creams. I realized I needed to use it in smaller amounts and its proved to be amazing. I love it in my MKB and paired with FE lemon at 1 drop per 20ml its heavenly to say the least. It gives that dark succulent berry taste to the strawberry kiwi.

FW/CAP Sweet Cream: tastes like shit on its own, but really mixes well with everything. FW for diketones, CAP has none.

INW Strawberry: I never regret adding this to just about any recipe. It almost tastes like a strawberry syrup because it develops a slight creaminess over time. That or my mind is playing tricks on me
Wait so not shisha strawberry? Haven't heard this mentioned before but I'm sure INW has a few not talked about gems. What percentages is this good at?
Shisha is great too, I just prefer the original one if I have to pick.. but I do use both
BTW I love sweet cream but I also like TFAs. I do notice some of my mixes improved a bit when I took out TFA sweet cream. Caps is great, I've been meaning to get a 4oz of it.
Yeah TFAs is really cheesy/milky. It does have some merit for me in certain recipes, just not the majority
+1 to INW Strawberry, one of my favorite flavors for sure. Only one that actually tastes like a real strawberry.
I really enjoy the inclusion of INW Strawberry in your Placid clone. I seriously can't get enough of this stuff. That's some nice work between you and onmywaydown!

Means a lot coming from you :) I think I made another breakthrough, a flavor I never would have thought belonged in this profile but I believe may be what Adirondack themselves referred to when they said it's "missing something subtle in the mix but extremely important to round it all out." I won a 120ml bottle of Placid a couple months ago and I've been nursing it back to back with my clones :)
Bonus round question! I've seen a few other threads noting how notoriously awesome both of INW strawberries are, I've just never seen one called for in a recipe.
Im still in a very basic strawberry milk phase of my DIY so I've stuck to renditions of fizz's milk and unicorn clones- all of these clones of clones seem to use CAP sweet or TFA ripe. (Or a base between the two)
Is INW shisha so different you wouldn't use it in a milk recipe?

- TFA Strawberry Ripe: Not just any strawberry, this one can be used to add sweetness to creams while brightening fruits at the same time. Just tastes good to me too
- FA Fuji: My favorite fruit. Just tastes good bro
I love Fuji. I don't like apple plain or as a main flavor unless apple pie but I use it to add tart notes to my strawberry kiwi and mmmmm its dank

I've been DIY for a few years now...I have made dozens of sucessful tasty blends, but I just keep going back to this as a single flavor, mixed anywhere from 5-15%. I just cannot seem to get enough of this stuff.
Capella Harvest Berry seems overpowering to be honest. Tried it at 2% along with a tropical mix of Capella Doublemelon, TPA Strawberry Ripe, Capella Pink Guava and some other fruits. In the end, the only thing I could taste was Harvest Berry.
FA Fuji Apple - ...duh?
INW Cactus - I put that shit in everything!
INW Grapefruit - This is Grapefruit with a capital 'G', know what I'm, sayin'? Packs more punch than the Incredible Hulk and it can't be tamed, but it plays nice with the right team because it lends itself to sweetness ~~instead of going bitter.~~while still giving the mouth-feel that comes with consuming grapefruit.
TFA Dragonfruit. My go to when a fruit flavor just isn't coming together how I want. Also one of the few flavors that never gives me any olfactory fatigue. Great for using a drop or two to mellow out a blend, great as 3-5% too.
INW Strawberry. It's amazing for creamy and bakery mixes, after using it I just can't go back to TFA Ripe or Strawberry.
FA Apricot. Most Apricot flavors are pretty underwhelming, FA's Apricot is spot on though. It's just like a ripe juicy apricot. Definitely one worth trying out if you like fruity mixes.
Honorable mention to TFA Bavarian Cream.

Have you used FW blueberry? How would you compare that with MF blueberry
I havent but MF is a real fruit extract. One thing people often dont understand is that there will be a slight variance in flavor for natural extracts depending on the crop. It is very concentrated, i use it in the .3-.5% range.
With that said i have FW BB in the cart waiting some more flavorings as it is talked about so much.
I've only just recently gotten back into DIY after giving it up in 2010, but my top three are
Flavorah - Cinnamon Crunch: It has such a pleasant, mild cinnamon flavor and sweetness that I really enjoy.
FW - Butterscotch: The best butterscotch I've tried yet
TFA Vanilla Cupcake: Works really well with fruit flavors
INW Dragonfruit- Best Dragonfruit.
INW Lemon Mix- Works great in anything I put it in.
FW Tres Leches- Great on its own and taste magically with creams and cakes.

TFA strawberry ripe. Best strawberry flavor IMO. I just love this shit.
TFA Bavarian cream. Used in so many creamy recipes it's ridiculous. I really enjoy the flavor this gives.
FLV rich cinnamon. Any flavor that needs a nice realistic cinnamon flavor I'll usually put a small amount in. Never lets me down.
Haven't posted for a while, just been creeping lately, but I had to jump in on this one:
- TFA Key Lime - Obviously can't make its way into every recipe, but I find myself making a ton of variants with this flavor. Marshmallow key lime, key lime pie, key lime cheesecake. It just tastes awesome to me...
- CAP Cake Batter - I have found myself going back to this one a ton too. I love cake batter ice cream and froyo on this stuff is pretty spot on. My best recipe with this one was a pineapple upside down cake batter with cherries sprinkled in - amazing.
- Cap Vanilla Custard V2 - I didn't want to include this one since its been mentioned too many times already, but its just great. Through some creamy custard in anything and its great... peanut butter, fruits, chocolates, really anything mixed with this stuff tastes pretty damn good. I'm sure the OG is great, but uncertainty about the diketones drove me to V2 and I haven't looked back...
There's been quite a few of my favorites listed already, so I'll try to skip those.

FA Almond : Pure magic in a bottle. Tastes like sweet almond soy milk when combined with TFA Vanilla Swirl.

LA Banana Cream : It's a one trick pony, but what a fantastic trick it is. It's not a realistic banana flavoring by any standards, but in low percentages can be very effective in bakery/dessert mixes. The only flaw is that radioactive yellow food coloring they use when manufacturing it, but a colorless version does exist.

FA Cookie: a slightly grainy, very tasty base note. I've used this flavor more than any other, with the exception of marshmallow and sweet cream for mouthfeel. Works as a cookie flavor, as a cereal base, as a base note to tie together fruits and creams... It's just an all around solid flavor.
Among the rest of the responses in this thread, I have to agree with FA Fuji, CAP Sweet Cream, TFA Dragonfruit and FA Vienna Cream.

FA Vienna Cream: can be mixed with anything. My favorite cream!
