So lets talk about hiccups
submitted over 9 years ago by VtotheZ

I think this has been discussed before but I am noticing that any sort of LIME dominate flavors I use specifically TFA Key lime, gives me instant hiccups. I lose the hiccups after a few min. If I take another drag, boom hiccups. Its FUCKING annoying. Ruins the entire vaping experience.

Thoughts? Anyone else have these issues.

I was getting them for a while pretty frequently. When I dropped my nic level down from 12mg to 3mg it pretty much quit. You might want to double check that you measured your nic right.

I've had that issue but it wasn't Lime related IIRC

Maybe try taking a deep breath, holding it, swallowing twice, and then slowly breathing out through your nose?

I get hicups when I chain vape sub ohm (like .3 and less).

To lose them, hold breath/reverse burp/drink carbonated drink/eat bread/do a handstand/jog a little/contort or core

My friend who doesn't vape gets hiccups when he hits my vape too often in a sitting. It's basically his version of getting nicced out, or so he claims.

Never get them UNTIL I try to vape on the way home from work. Nothing changed, same mod, same juice, same watts. But hiccups it is. And that's why I can't vape on the way home anymore... :(

Same problem when driving home, i tend to fix it by just getting my breathing under control. Like the others have said deep breaths and focus on your diaphragm.

It usually passes after some practice and you can continue vaping

That's wild, man. I've never experienced that, nor have I seen anyone else have that happen.

Without fail I get hiccups if I vape right after a big meal. That seems to be the only time though.

Same here. I only seem to hiccup on the inhale (mouth to lung). It's infuriating.

Maybe its all of the above then lol... My nic level is 4mg, I used to vape at 18mg back in the day, in the Kayfun days, mouth to lung

I get them when I chain vape sometimes. By accident I found that eating a piece of chocolate makes them go away...and it's chocolate so yum.
