Need : TFA Glazed Donut recipe help.
submitted over 9 years ago by TelyGamer

Been working with this since I got it and I'm not sure it's as great as I had hoped. I've gone from 5% up to 15 and get a decent flavor, not great but not bad. I'm looking for ideas on things I can add to round out the donut flavor a bit more. I'm mixing when I have time today but 3 kids and crap to do before the work weeks is killing my me time.

I've got cake batter from CAP and Cream cheese icing that I'm trying in at 1% but I've never used either. I know certain flavors can help others pop but this isn't a fruit so I can't use what I know of it to help bring out the flavor. Any thoughts on this guys?

Does TFA Glazed Donut need to steep?

FW Yellowcake will do a better job than cap cakebatter. Hint of fa Joy for a fried note. Tfa Bavarian cream to add a hint of vanilla. Bronuts used these for a reason

I just use the bronut recipe with glazed at 5% and Bavarian cream at 2% comes out pretty tasty.

Pretty sure Bronut has 4 ingredients. Search for it.

I just mixed up a Vanilla Cake Donut recipe.

Frosted Donut - 4% FW Yellow Cake - 3% FW Cake Batter Dip - 3% CAP Vanilla Custard - 1% Joy - .5%

Steeping now, was ok as a shake and vape, but cakes usually need a steep.

Gonna give this a try, haven't done much with my cake batter dip yet.

Raspberry Filled Donuts: My friend came up with this one and though the percentages are a bit of a red flag, after a week or so the flavor of the Donut really came out strong. Really tasty, its one of my all day vapes.

  • Ethyl Maltol 10% (TPA) - 1%
  • Frosted Donut (TPA) - 7%
  • Raspberry (Sweet) (TPA) - 10%

I've read that TPA glazed donut has more of a pastry /crousant profile compared to Cappella's frosted donut (which is very much like a donut).
