Recipe - Near completion, Requesting any suggestions. Honey Bourbon Tobacco

After about a dozen revisions, this is what I've gotten so far. Its missing one flavor note I've been trying to add, a kind of golden grahams honey grain as a middling note.
  First 3 revisions had the Bourbon at 4% and it was very overpowering.
The next 4 revisions saw the Black Honey tobacco lowered gradually, it was initially at 6% and tasted bland. I settled at 2.5% but I'm not sure if it would benefit from being upped again- I like the hint of raisin finish it has.
I think I am going to adjust the bourbon down slightly, maybe .25% - and adding some Acetyl Pyrazine. I'm hoping this will add the note of grain.
The Graham Cracker and Banana Bread came in on the last 5 batches in increasing% starting from 0.25% to help blend things a bit. I was hoping they would hit some of the golden graham notes I wanted.
The brown sugar started at 1% on the second batch and was way too sweet, it has stayed at 0.75% since- but I am thinking of lowering it with the bourbon on the next batch.
 
Any suggestions for this recipe are appreciated, it is pretty tasty already- just missing that tiny last annoying touch to finish.

I would try ditching the Honey and adding a small amount of TE Black Mile+. When combined with graham cracker it produces a delightful subtle honey note.

AP at 0.25%-1% will give you that dimension of flavor that grain gives, and should work well with the other ingredients. Looks like a great recipe, If I had more than 2 of the ingredients I'd give it a go.

I assure you, I work on more than one flavor profile at a time. This is maybe 4 to 5 months effort in 20 to 30ml sizes with each attempt. That said, I crush through a bottle of this in a week or two at this point.

I try to take a break from my flavors after a month or so of intensive development, because I literally stop being able to taste what's good or bad after too much vaping on one particular mix, revision after revision... But that's why you always have several mixes going at once.

IDK about others, but for me personally, very rarely do I ever post something that hasn't gone through at least 10-15 revisions first (i.e. at least 1 month of testing). It's not that I actually worry about prematurely contributing unfinished recipes, but I do hold myself back from posting a recipe until I'm pretty sure I can't fuck around with it too much more... but then I do anyways, because vaping v2.0.

Im messing with a lot of similar flavor profiles in my neverending quest to actually clone uncle junks jon wayne , definitely the acetyl pyrazine but maybe something to smooth it out or sweeten it up? Top of my head im gonna say 1% sweet cream to keep you in tobacco / dessert country but maybe just 0.5% smooth or sucralose (sweetener?)

Perhaps in place of amy of those a half percent coconut?

I've been considering sweet cream for a while- I might give that a shot. I have several Coconut brands- but I don't think that will take it where I want ultimately. I want a finished recipe that has more in common with Vapers Mark and their take on this flavor blend- as opposed to Uncle Junk's John Wayne or Vape Wild Havana Bourbon or to the coconut flavor something like Gentlemans Reserve from Steam Co.
I have a final destination already in mind if that makes sense- just trying to find my way there. I need to think hard on Sweet Cream, it might be overly sweet with the brown sugar, Honey, and Banana Bread; but I can definately see how it would improve the Black Honey Tobacco

It was a game changer for me as far as giving desserts that final touch, but I mean, the name says it all, if it doesnt need more sweetness or creaminess then not the right one

As mentioned the Acetyl Pyrazine is always worth a shot. (or just something with a lot of pyrazines)

I use a 0.5%AP solution @ 1-3% range. I think the lower end of the spectrum would suit you better.

Another tobacco could definitely make this pop. I've not tried TE Black MIle+ but based on the amount of bobas clones i have seen it in, I would believe /u/billgarmsarmy. (the bucket prophet)

A good tobacco absolute or extract may do the trick. I have not played with the ones I have yet, so I cannot speak for them.

INW Gold Ducat is similar to Black Honey tobacco but a much better flavor in my opinion, if you want something in that same vein. Point being that It could play well w/ the Black Honey Tobacco

Sneaking some coconut into the mix is always a pleasant surprise as mentioned by /u/SolanaceaeEnthusiast

I was playing around with a TFA bourbon/ TFA/lemon/AP/tobac mix and added too much AP which tasted really weird with the lemon. Don't do that.

However I personally love a hint of lemon for contrast, but dont know how that would fare with graham.

I could also see a banana flavor working in this, but I have no experience with those, and cannot recommend one specifically

Oh maybe he could go for a pipe edge to it? Captain / cavendish / french pipe

The s'desert ship (not desert ship) has a toasted nutty note to it that could accent this well

Black honey tobacco is an obvious choice. Soho?

Dk or dark vapure come to mind but thats really going toward spicey and smokey

Thank you! I will reconsider the coconut then, perhaps a batch with fa at low%. I have a batch steeping now with 1.25% bananas and cream and .5% la banana cream. I will look to add INW gold ducat and tell black mile to my order list

It could help define your tobac on this recipe. If you havent pixked up Gold Ducat, and are interested in a neutral tobac base, that would be your best bet. However if you have gold ducat its not a bad flavor.

/u/skiddlzsninja might take offense to this, but in my opinion, the only way to go for honey is FLV Honeybee... the sample I got recently is a dead ringer for clover honey to my tastebuds, and a welcome respite from cat piss & dead hookers (or whatever TFA Honey tastes like this week?)... My Honey Nut Cheerios are finally close to materializing, but that's a whole other thread. I'll try to mix this one up over the weekend -- it sounds delicious already, so I'll let you know how the FLV Honeybee substitution goes. Thanks for sharing the recipe, mate.

Also, /u/billgarmsarmy hit the nail on the head -- this recipe seems like it's dying for a touch of Black Mile+ IMO. I love that stuff, but just a little goes a loooooong way. Good idea.
