5 gallon buckets. 5 gallon water cooler jugs. This seems like a unit of measure anyone familiar with imperial units should know.

It's not like cords of wood or pecks of picked peppers.

Isn't it pickled peppers?

Add some xantham gum and a bit of water and it makes great lube.

True. Add menthol for the tingle.

A couple years if properly stored.

If you have the space freeze most of it to make it last as long as possible or alternatively start aggressively selling to friends.

5 gallons is the standard starting batch size for homebrewers. I can get 50 12oz bottles out of 5 gallons. 5 gallons is a WHOLE LOT of liquid.

I keep my liter batches in flip top 'grolsh' style beer bottles (left over from... wait for it... my homebrewing hobby)

You guys don't still brew?

Shoot my evenings are spent in the garage (where the 4 tap kegerator is) drinking beer and playing with coils / juice mixes.

Brew days are just sit around and vape.

Where do you recommend shopping for those? I'm interested..

Pretty much everywhere should have a LHBS (local home brew shop), but if not I've always liked midwest supplies Growlers are great for base, and the grolsh tops are awesome for ADV you make in larger quantities

I just think 5 Gallons of milk, but VG instead. Not really hard to imagine and not many surprises there.

That's a shitttttttt ton of VG.

i keep my 4 gallon jugs of VG in the mini fridge, they are stack to fit, otherwise no room for my liquor and nic base.

I'm in Indianapolis and was going to order some VG here soon - any chance I could just buy some off of you?

Absolutely! Sorry for the late reply, pm me and we can discuss further!

I ordered the VG/PG from Apothecary and it came in gallon containers , even this amount is insane .

Don't know how long it will last in those big plastic containers.

by To0nMaNover 9 years ago

Years as long as it is kept in a dry cool and unsmelly place. Of course gallon glass jugs would be better.
